  1. How on Earth do people know if this game is in Alpha or Beta or whatever???
  2. I'm not sure which signature gif is worse...the girls or the stormtrooper
  3. I think alternatively some when it says "Equipped" when looking at the big inventory or on the workbench, that it says "Equipped by someone" maybe? This is a good idea actually.
  4. I think it made Fallout 2 damn funny....I loved that game...a good break from the monotony.
  5. Hmm, point taken but... Palpatine was a master manipulator and it seems like he had to work very carefully for years for his mind control to bear fruit . and also, we're not going to play the game as Palpatine, so we may lack his talent <_<. I don't think Palpatine used mind control....he just manipulated Anakin.
  6. I heard a cap of level 30. And the way to take advantage of all those new feats is by having you play a character a different way...not to have one character have all the feats.
  7. Yes, but does it explain a low level of COmputer Use, Demolitions, and Security? Level loss doesn't occur in d20 Star Wars like that and the way is a poor implementation of the rules system. Sounds like quite the flaw in the d20 rules....glad Obsidian is making it better.
  8. There is no reason for HK to not join your party. Just because he is the property of Revan doesn't mean he is always around Revan. After all, you did find him on Tatooine, not to mention the countless mission he had done where Revan was nowhere around.
  9. Is it possible to do Tatooine without HK-47?
  10. Some characters will likely be definitely bad or good. And if you become to evil....they'll probably not be in your party anymore.
  11. Except that you have no idea about the implementation about it. You're just mad because you're a Jedi.
  12. Oh yes, let us laugh at the depiction of a poor animal languishing in pain and suffering. What a keen joke it is. That's exactly what it does It's no different than when people laugh at someone in a movie that just died some horribly inconvenient death or got kicked in the junk or whatever the case may be. Don't try to play this silly card.
  13. Because they have said you will not start off as a Jedi. Unless they changed that recently. They have never said that. You are a Jedi that has lost connection with the Force.
  14. I have played the game on a 9800 Pro and an 8500....it ran fine on the 9800 Pro (My CPU is the bottleneck), and it ran ok on the 8500 with disabling some stuff. Furthermore, I have played the game 5 times, and have crashed on only two level transitions.
  15. Agreed. I lauged at the silliness of it all.
  16. You don't want to sell me death sticks. You want to go home and re-think your life.
  17. Half-Life was being considered one of the best FPS of all time long before Counterstrike or even Team Fortress Classic. I remember PC Gamer said it was the easiest Game of the Year selection they had ever done, since the entire staff felt it was (whereas usually it is hours of arguing and debating which game was game of the year). And it wasn't because of lack of quality games coming out either. Half-Life 2 has not been described as more of the same. The game is supposed to feature some of the most intuitive AI, and promises a more dynamic gaming experience than Half-Life with less scripted sequences. It also sports an intensive physics engine, and the ability to generate real time accurate lip synching. Reading as many Half-Life 2 previews from magazines and websites, not once have I seen Half-Life 2 being more of the same. Doom 3, while also having an impressive graphics engine, has not been hyped up for its "normal mapping." It has hype because it is supposed to be a story-driven (something new for Doom) game that tries to scare the **** out of you whenever it can. I do not know much about Halo 2 since I do not own an X-Box. I remember adamantly following the development of Halo, from the Macworld demonstration that just blew me away. However I feel it lost a lot of its thunder because it got delayed too long. By the time I finally played it on the PC, it certainly was not the uber-cool experience I had hoped for for so long. The game is still fun, but its monotonous level design and mediocre multiplay left me wanting more. If Halo 2 comes to the PC then I'll look into it a bit more, but right now I don't follow it too closely. However, time is starting to run short on HL2 and Doom 3. They at one time had people ooing and ahing over their graphics, but Farcry was able to beat them out with that. On a side note, a lot of people this year list Splinter Cell 3 as Game of the Show over both Halo 2 and Half-Life 2.
  18. What about the Juhani romance in KOTOR? I just finished Juhani's sidequest, and hardly consider it a romance.
  19. I generally found them to be pretty funny. The holy hand grenade BOS guys The bridgekeeper The countless The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly references. Hilarious.
  20. Half-Life 2 and Doom 3 has also blown anyone away that has actually had a chance to play it.
  21. Well...that's the difference between us then Seems like he heads up a badass group of Sith Jedi to me More like Darth Bandon, but since this has become just a matter of opinion I will concede that he could be one of the main bosses....I just don't think there is any indication that he would be.
  22. I guess that does make more sense now that I say it aloud.
  23. I'd say just like it looks: Fear-gus.
  24. hehe. I think everyone flourishes their weapon during the long trips
