  1. Yeah, I noticed that too. I went to change my lineups because of an injury, and I noticed that I was editting the CPU's lines. Tsk tsk.
  2. I'm not a console gamer either. But I can still recognize Jade Empire for what it is. And it most definitely has nothing in common with typical fighting games, aside from the fact that people do in fact fight.
  3. Great game. Rexall would have absolutely exploded if Pronger had scored (which he did in the Joey Moss game). Wow it was loud. But Schremp was easily the best player on the ice for both teams. Had Sauve continued his play and not been swapped out midway through the second, he probably would have been a star too. I felt Calgary for the most part was outplayed, and they even failed to convert on 3 separate 5-3 powerplays. But it's not the full Calgary team, so I'm not going to hold it against them. A team with Iginla is automatically way better on the powerplay. I was also impressed with Laraque. He was very active, and even FAST (?!?!?!). He played a very physical game, was actively forechecking (and often still the first backchecker back), and even saw a ton of icetime while 4 on 4 (WTF?!?!??!?!). It looks like he came into camp in excellent shape. I was also happy with Bergeron. Very fast and active, and not afraid to let lose his shot. Stoll was also solid. Still not sold on Horcoff, though I would love him to have a breakout year! He did very poorly in the faceoff circle (Schremp and Stoll did quite well though), and had a medicore game IMO. Cross is definitely on the outside looking in IMO. He had trouble maintaining control of the puck, took bad penalties, and to be honest I felt Syvret played a way better game. There was one perfect scenario where Cross could have easily pinched up to maintain possession, but didn't both going for it. The situation was made very clear when the next time up, the EXACT same situation happened, and Pronger was the one and he pinched up, got a pass to Smyth who almost scored on a wrap around. Speaking of Pronger, you could see him helping out Bergeron on the ice, particularly at the face of circle. Here's hoping his Dman leadership spreads to Semenov (who had an average game...did well on the PK though) as well. There was a few times when the "twin towers" were on the ice though I honestly expected more penalties though. There were still situations that seemed just as clutch and grab, but they definitely were calling the questionable stickwork of some players (in addition to Stoll plastering some guy face first into the boards in a brutal checking from behind....if he hadn't ripped a beauty PP one-timer and had a good game up until then, I would have been very unhappy...at least he had instensity I guess). It was perfect having Smytty score though
  4. Does not compute.
  5. Oh noes. I just played a game against Vancouver on Difficult, and won 26-5. I learned how to score in the second period, when I put in 10 goals in 10 minutes (at 5 minute periods to boot) of the second period. If I win the center ice face off, I can score about 90% of the time. Now, Dvorak had 6 goals with 2 assists...but my guy had 1 goal, with 11 assists. They gave the 1st star to Dvorak, but really, 12 points in a single game? Considering all 6 of Dvorak's goals were assisted by me. In fact, I got assists on 8 of those 2nd period goals when I decided that the Vancouver goalies don't deserve good GAA. Not to mention the 8 consecutive faceoffs I won "
  6. That would just be changing the location of our school!
  7. It's what I do. I am a robot from the future, and "jokes" are beyond my programming. They require too vast of a neural network of constantly streaming data of information in order to determine the appropriate emotion...
  8. And private school!
  9. It's still a long ways away though, so don't get too hyped for it (yet ). My friend and I are planning on releasing it for NWN2. Currently in preproduction and all that jazz.
  10. Yup. Sorry, but that's the way it is. Do you have small arms. Or are you young? I can pretty much grab my chin on the other side with my arm over my head. Perhaps I'm the freaky gorilla.
  11. Art thou judging me!?!?!?!
  12. Woohoo, two tickets to the game tonight! (w00t)
  13. I'm considering the idea of somehow allowing you to play through my module without ever having to get into a direct conflict.
  14. I've heard that the size of the head doesn't change a whole lot over the course of one's life. Probably mostly just at the very young ages. It is neat that little kids cannot put their arm over their head and touch their opposite ear.
  15. Nothing wrong with virginity "
  16. Schools are one of the primary instituations of socialization. Right up there with family, as that's where kids spend large parts of their day interacting with other people. If you somehow went entirely through school (whether public or private) without being socialized, then that would truly be an accomplishment (and inhuman).
  17. I like to play sports, usually basketball. I also like long walks on the beach and........
  18. I'm saying that perhaps I didn't find the combat as enjoyable in PS:T because the rest of the game was just so much better.
  19. I didn't necessarily find the combat of PS:T easy or hard. I just didn't find it as enjoyable as the combat in other IE games. Maybe it's because all the non-combat parts were just so much better??
  20. I'll likely be adding this to my Christmas List.
  21. I remember struggling with combat my first playthrough, but found combat my second playthrough to be much simpler. It is kind of funny that if I found a place hard, I could just exploit it by putting Annah on stealth and walking to the next map I also think people may have an elevated view of PS:T's combat because they enjoyed the rest of the game so much. When a game gives you warm fuzzies, everything is seen in a better light.
  22. To compare Jade Empire to any fighting game is, well, stupid. To even utter Mortal Kombat in the same sentence as Jade Empire, in an attempt to look for comparisons, is also not very keen. Perhaps you should rent the game or something.
  23. I'm batting 1.000 against the demon
  24. I was rather surprised the EA didn't add a salary cap in NHL 2006. Likewise, I was also surprised that the schedule is the same every year.
  25. I killed the big demon guy in PS:T by just running around pretty much.
