Delaying a game past the Christmas season is uncommon, and only done in rarer circumstances. Nothing doubtful about it. It's not surprising that the Christmas season is the time period where retail sales are at its highest.

That wasn't the point. The point is that players that play on the PK are typically good defenders. They certainly aren't "loser players." Poor defensive players typically do not play on the PK. That's not to say that failure to play on the PK makes that player a defensive liability. IMO, after years of watching Jagr, his best defensive ability is his dominating offensive ability. Much like a Lemieux or Gretzky.

I think it more determines the ability to outscore (which is important). To be honest I think it's actually useless as a defensive measure. Many exceptionally talented defensive players do not have good +/- because their entire job is to shut down a player, and scoring goals is not typically something that comes frequently. A talented offensive line that attacks very aggressively will typically have much better +/- scores. I'd rather look at takeaways and blocked shots as defensive stats, but blocked shots for instance are biased towards defensemen.

I wouldn't consider the +/- to be all that telling for defensive abilities. Gretzky was +98 one season, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't because of his monster defensive abilities (nor those of his linemates).

If by Freespace you mean Freelancer, then yes FOr some stupid reason, Juan there was doing circles at cruise speed, so jags and I set up camp along it's path and shot him up as he flew past.

My math teacher played that game with us in class. 2 people out of 30 got it right. Unfortunatly I was not one of them. Figured it out later though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Woo, I figured out the pattern on my second try. Which is much, much, MUCH better than I did at jags' test.
