  1. I try to play ironman now as well Spider. I find it to be a bit more fun for some reason.
  2. Okey dokey. Anything in particular about installing it?
  3. FEAR is a beautiful game! I'll post some pics of Oblivion in a moment.

Anybody that was following the free agency period when the announcement came that he rejected a 5 year, $25 million contract, as well as a 5 year, $32.5 million contract. A few days later, he signed a 3 year contract, the weekend before his qualifying offer expired (and essentially the deadline for signing for him). For a guy that really wanted to be in Boston, and a GM that really wanted Joe to play in Boston, it sure did take a heck of a long time to come to an agreement on a contract. And Kor, the cap was $39 million this season, not 34.5 million.
  5. So, just use FRAPS to take a picture in Oblivion? Or is there anything else I need to worry about?
  6. I find the speakers have made more of an impact than the sound chip (barring a certain minimum of course).

He wasn't traded right after he was signed. Nor was there some controversy about him turning down a deal a few days earlier.

Why would you sign a guy and then trade him?
  9. Most games don't even give you the option anymore.
  10. I remember squeezing in games like Quake II in for a full install on my 1.2 GB HD. I think I had a 4 GB HD when I played BG. Tight fit for that one too.
  11. Heh, there was a point in FEAR where a guy clipped a bit through the wall, and was able to toss a grenade at me. Funny stuff.
  12. Well, it could be slowing it from 90 to 80 EDIT: FEAR was a ton of fun. The game has fantastic visuals too.
  13. I was playing FEAR. I just finished it. Next up, Far Cry.
  14. Wasn't there a kafuffle about nVidia not being fully to spec in DX9 at one time too?
  15. 316 seconds that's pretty fast!
  16. Good game > trivial issue of swapping a disc
  17. I actually like CoD 2's health regeneration. I hated having to replay an entire level because my autosave has me at 2 health, and there's no medpacks nearby with a tiger tank blocking my way. As for Fallout versus Fallout 2, I choose Fallout 2. Fallout was too short.

    WOOOO! Go Oilers Go!
  19. Well, we're talking about the ones that made it big right. I'd have to give the nod to Half-Life. Half-Life showed me that an FPS game can be fun single player.
  20. I bet I could still finish the game in convincing fashion starting the game with all 9's in my stats. So I don't think I'd have any problem playing without any one of them.
  21. Absolutely... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The numerous '...' was trying to display my speechlessness of such a claim. I agree that Half-Life was the one that kick started things.
  22. I don't think so. At least not in my experience. With respect to reading scratched CDs, my DVD player does a better job than my CD-RW....but those are CDs.
