  1. I'm also liking the fact that border disputes can cause your country to acquire more core provinces!
  2. I have heard that the crossfire implementation of the X1900s is really, really fast as well.
  3. Damn, that looks really, really good ... and makes me want to buy it just to brush up on my medi
  4. My X1900 XTX doesn't really seem louder than my 9800 Pro. And I sit right beside it with the case wide open.
  5. Hahahaha, I never thought anyone would quite benefit from that link :D
  6. I don't think it'd be integrated into the motherboard, but rather the CPU chip itself. If motherboards still come with expansion slots, it'd be less restrictive. As for A*, it's pretty much the pathfinding algorithm. The funny thing is that they say they don't use heuristics, which means they aren't using A* (since A* is a heuristic).
  7. It'd have to be coming in expecting to shoot, and hope it's facing the right way. In any case, I may have to replay through KOTOR 1 again, because from what I understand it was pretty much the entire Republic Navy, not just "a few Republic Ships."
  8. There's a link in the sticky I believe, and it gives a rough estimate to their progress.
  9. Some "<random name> Invasion" expansion no doubt.
  10. Such a solution might be useful in small devices (palmtops and the like), possibly even in networked workstations for uniformity, but hardly attractive for high-end gaming and graphics. One of the articles I read about the merger did acknowledge that. But as far as physics, etc. cards go, these additional 'helper' cards do seem to be a candidate for all-in-one integration on the graphics card itself. Until that happens, the technology won't become mainstream, because it's not enough of an advance to justify the cost or space requirement. (I think it's Nvidia's turn to roll.) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When I say "high end integrated solution," I'm talking about ATi putting their high end graphics accelerators right on chip. Whether or not that's good enough for us is one thing, but it is significantly better than the integrated solution that Intel is using now. Furthermore, if higher quality integrated graphics chips become more popular, the "lowest common denominator" in games gets raised.
  11. When I saw that, I was saddened. I'm a Left-Wing Radical, and no one tries influencing me Though my Dictatorship lets me bring my more powerful allies into wars. Portugal and Ireland have both been "dealt" with :D
  12. I recall much begging on France's part for supplies from the English. Never thought I'd see that happen.
  13. France should remember that it's so pitiful, that jerkface has to give him resources.
  14. I don't think so. I bought a box version.
  15. The evil Republic of Spain is spreading its influence around!
  16. Crank is one of those movies you don't expect quality when going into, and just expect over the top awesomeness! Or so I assume...still have to see it.
  17. I think he's reinventing Railroad Tycoon with his "Railroads"
  18. Funny you should mention that, because I read an article talking about ATi/AMD creating a high end integrated solution.
  19. There's a sticky link up top. It's not done, but apparently they are still working on it. It's just going slow because of real life.
  20. I think Bao-Dur just needs significant influence points to turn him. Nothing special at all.
  21. I'm not sure I agree with their philosophy on heuristics.
  22. A series of provinces I suspect. But that's the impression that I get.
