  2. ApplyStatusEffect and ScoringOnKill are perfectly fine @spherical - i am using the same setting for one of my Shifter talents! Just rebuild the whole thing maybe there is just one typo missing somewhere... happened to me more than one time...
  3. Hmmm... thats really strange. I used your code and got an error message in the Progression screen even though i cant say why. When rebuilding the whole thing from scratch (using the same tables like you) its working perfectly fine after testing it ingame. Whenever my Rogue killed an enemy he got back +1 guile. But: Is your new talent showing up in the Progession Tree when leveling up or is just not working after killing enemies? So if its not working i would rebuild it from zero. If its still not working after that we could deliver you the code!
  4. Hello Ancelor! Even though i havent modded any items so far i think that the following file might help you - just put it in your Override Folder. Now all Flails should get back the 30% Graze to Hit conversion. Happy punching! Better Flails.zip
  5. Personally i always play with Deadly Deadfire Hardcore Edition as the enemies are not only much tougher but the level progression is much slower. Combine this with some God Challenges and you are ready for an epic adventure.......... of suffering!
  6. This is an old bug that i have posted some time ago - nothing has happened since then. For whatever reason its only affecting the Stag form...
  7. Finally the good old "Improved Call for Help" seems to have found its way into PoE. That sounds good! P.S. Is the Cracker or Spell splitting trick no more working luring smaller groups far enough away?
  8. We never implemented this idea @Mr Wockip but in the early stages of our Shifter Mod combos with Paladin or Chanter felt OP. A lot has happened since then! :D
  9. With (nearly) all new spells and abilities implemented the Shifter looks pretty awesome. Now it will be time for "a lot" of finetuning and balancing. However: What we are missing is some kind of cool video footage. Is there anyone able and willing to do some showcase? In my old days i just cant get in touch with this stuff.
  10. As there is still no love for Shifters from Obsidian its up to us to change things in a "good way". With other words: We are still working on the Shifter Evolution Mod and have changed A LOT. New spells and talents went in, lots of numbers were tweaked, lots of test fights were done. We also started adding Bonus Evolutions to please new players as well as veterans: Druid Shifter: Evolution Mod Feedback or ideas for new spells or talents are always welcome!
  11. I tested the Vela challenge and can agree with your observations @thelee. So far i like this one even though Withdraw sometimes seems to be essential. But what i hate much more than jumping Rogues or bouncing spells/abilities is this challenge combined with Magrans no-pause madness. As someone who refuses to use any AI setting this is far beyond any nightmare - especially when playing with permadeath.
  12. Shifter/Ghostheart works pretty well even when playing solo and i had a lot of fun using a bear pet plus some heavy Spiritshift punching with little spell casting in between. If you want to double the fun you could use our Shifter Evolution Mod - this should put you even through PotD. @Mukurome for instance soloed Belranga with this one!
  13. Unlocking Mods when playing God Challenges: Switch to your install folder/PillarsOfEternityII_Data/exported/design/gamedata Open global.gamedatabundle with Notepad++ or similar Use Ctrl+F to find "DisableMods": "true". Change it to "false" (its at the very beginning) Save and have fun!

  15. At the moment i am playing around with ChangeForm abilities. Trying to build a Lurker Form i ran into a problem: Where are the creature files? In StatusEffect there are entries like: "NewFormAppearance":"art/character/creatures/druid_cat01/a_druid_cat01_v01.asset" But - holy cow - where is the appearance data so i can see how all the other assets are exactly named? Thanks for your help!
  16. Oh, you can easily play with Mods using Magrans Fire @Nash: 1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\exported\design\gamedata 2. Open global.gamedatabundle (with Notepad++ or similar) 3. Search for "ID":"e14ad382-49e9-45f6-840c-488c7c8d0418" 4. Now you only have to scroll a bit and change the entry "DisableMods":"true" into "DisableMods":"false" Now you can play the God Challenges with any Mods you like - good hunting!

  18. Yeah, big thanks to @Armakoir! Your patience and effort made my Shifter Mod possible - otherwise i would have failed badly. Now its growing and evolving more and more. Hah, i have tried so much in the last weeks - better than playing the game! If i would have time i might help with some of the mod requests but at the moment there is no way. However: Thanks again!
  19. Lots of things are changing - so is the Evolution Shifter! What i need is more feedback about balancing as the more stuff i put in the more complex everything gets. The latest changes are: Added new PL 0 talent "Fractured Spirit" that makes the Shifter more vulnerable in Human Form Added new PL 0 talent "Rabid" that makes the Shifter faster in animal form while suffering more damage Added new PL 7 spell "Feral Impulse" that damages and stuns all enemies nearby The PL 5 spell "Exoskeleton Plate" scales now with character level Reduced bonus speed and damage of the PL 9 spell "Primal Beast" but slightly increased the health bonus Slightly reduced the bonus attack speed of "Cat Flurry" from 33% to 25% Changed the visual effect of "Primal Beast". The Shifter now transform into some brutish looking Ogre Changed the visual effect of "Acid Spores" Fixed some talent and ability entries Thanks for your help!
  20. Thanks for your feedback @Elric Galad! If you take a look at the "Final Evolution" you will see that lot of things have changed: - The defense bonus for the Stag has been toned down significantly (7 -> 14 -> 21) - Furthermore the T3 animals will only be available for Single Class Shifters (PL8!). - Spell Casting in animal form has been disabled. - In Human Form the Shifter will suffer a stackable defense loss each time he gets damaged. Its still not perfect but much more challenging than before!
  21. For all of those who think that the new Shifter is far too strong should maybe use the "Advanced Evolution" version: - No spellcasting in animal form (back to the vanilla game!) - Tier 2 animal forms moved to Power Level 8 I am still open for feedback or new ideas!
  22. To make the Shifter Mod more interesting i splitted him into two versions: 1. The "Minor Evolution" uses the old rules where all classes could reach maximum Shifter power. This one is for new players who want to enjoy the full package! 2. The "Normal Evolution" puts the Elder animal forms to Power Level 8 so they are only available for Single Class. Veteran players should still have lot of fun here! I am still working on some kind of "Ultimate Evolution" that will make the Shifter much more harder to play but there are still some tests to be done.   23. Version 3.1 of the Evolution Mod is already online and even though many things have changed there is still a lot of work ahead. Therefore i appreciate any feedback about balancing the new Shifter. Which abilities, talents or combos are too strong overall? What should be pushed a bit more? Thanks for your help!
  24. Feedback is always welcome even more when combined with some practical tests of the new Shifter. So if you give me some (more) points where i have went wrong that is appreciated. Dont forget that the Evo Shifter lost all elemental spells and cannot use scrolls. I think these two points (plus the fact that most items wont work when being shifted) should give us "a lot" of freedom for some powerful abilities. But yeah - balancing the class is really hard when changing lots of things. Just send me a PM or use the Shifter thread to give me more details. I am really fast at changing stuff!
  25. Which video do you mean @Hulk`O´Saurus? Oh, i agree that the new Shifter is quite strong and very adaptive but the mod is still in progress so toning it down should be no "big deal". But is it really stronger than scroll spamming? Hmmmmm... P.S. +35 defense for Stag so far was not OP and my Shifter still gets hit a lot! But okay i havent tested all multiclassing or item combos as i dont have the time for it. The +defense was an idea from @mant2si to compensate for the loss of a shield and other stuff when being shifted.
