  1. Use the application found here to uninstall it and then try reinstalling the game.
  2. You think your copy of Windows Vista is happy about the disc not working? This sounds like a SecuROM error to me, you might try uninstalling SecuROM and re-trying the disc to see if the drivers were an issue.
  3. I think there is a modification that adds them in - you might want to look for that.
  4. Are you using any modifications?
  5. There is not always a Force Persuade option in the dialog options, so, no, I do not think that it is a bug.
  6. You don't want to do that. All you have to to is set the affinity of the KotOR II process to one CPU core instead of both. That way other applications will still use both cores.
  7. It's most likely a driver issue, have you tried downloading the latest version from nVidia's website?
  8. No, all he, or she, needs to do is set the affinity of that possess - disabling one core is unnecessary. But KotOR works best with with single core processors. Mine works fine though but for the most part I've found single processors work best. And that is what setting affinity for a process does - it makes it run on a single core while allowing the rest of the PC to use both cores. As people have said before, please do not recommend things if you have no idea what you are talking about.
  9. True... But I don't think that his post would fit any "standard" definition of the word.
  10. I'm building an i5 system but, for the price, the Q6600 is -or at least was- a good deal for the price.
  11. This thread is about games' music...
  12. Who is doing what to the panels? G0-t0. Did you read the topic tile before you posted?
  13. No, all he, or she, needs to do is set the affinity of that possess - disabling one core is unnecessary.
  14. It might also be a driver issue, so he or she should also try a different version of those.
  15. Why would he do that? The engine KotOR II uses saves more data the further you go in the game so it might be that you are simply trying to load a save that has much more data and that could the cause of the slowdown. Also, have you tried saving a regular save file rather than a quicksave? It might be that your quicksave folder has become bloated and you need to go in and delete some older files.
  16. 2.0? I did not know there was a 2.0 patch.
  17. I just dealt with this issue when I had to repair a PC and it seemed like the motherboard was either bad or the BIOs had been damaged and was defaulting back to an earlier version that did not support the more modern CPUs. Since Asus offered a free replacement I went for that option and did not try the BIOs repair - but you might want to try idea that if you cannot return it or otherwise replace it.
  18. You'll need to shell out for a Hd though - so make sure to tack on that amount.
  19. Hummm... I think you missed this part of the posting "I respond within 12 hours! You are not buying a xbox system, you cant buy any electronic for $2 but with a little work and my help you can get an xbox 360 free." He is not selling an X-Box 360 Elite at all.
  20. The BIOs battery or chip is my first guess as well.
  21. Yeah, you'd have to actually be able to use GfWL to get those. I guess I'll not be getting them either, even though I will have bought the collectors' edition that I have on pre-order now. Oh wait... I guess anyone who dislikes GFWL must be a pirate and thus I am one even though I will have bought the game - but that has to be true, we're using Mkreku Logicâ„¢ and it must be flawless and perfect!
