- KOTOR III MMO Confirmed?
How the heck does a spokesman not know what the heck his company owns? Did you not see where the quotes ended?- What are you playing now?
Is that the only difference between the U.S. and U.K. versions?- How do you get the handmaiden?
Not really, you get her about 1/50 times without mods or the KSE. It's simply a bug...- How do you get the handmaiden?
No...- Pictures of your games
I'm considering getting the full game when the price drops, as it is really not as bad as I thought it would be. However, it is not worth $50-$40 at the moment...- What are you playing now?
I'm playing the Jericho demo, and it's not as bad as I expected. Maybe I'll get it when the price drops or I have extra cash to spend on games...- The Music Thread
Wild Chase - Edenbridge- Free Official Oblivion Plug-in!
The plug-in is now $1.89, so this topic should be closed...- better PCs
Wow, that was impressive- Pictures of your games

Sand is a member of the forum who is quite willing to share his opinions about games, so Tale, if my interpretation was correct, was comparing myself to the aforementioned Sand.- Elder Scrolls Online
Exactly, I have bought games that I initially disliked but re-played with modifications and loved. There is not a difference, other then the fact that it is possible to modify single-player games while you could not modify something like WoW. Expansions are modifications, but I was addressing total-conversion, or semi-total-conversion modifications, when I said a game that was disliked could be made enjoyable. I know that, but even a patched game still retains the original beneath the surface- TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline, READ FIRST POST BEFORE POSTING.
Yes, there is only one major, two tweaks, and one trivial bug left!- The Music Thread

Well, my original posting was about my view of a potential Elder Scrolls MMORPG and then the conversation sort of got sidetracked by off-topic chatter about other MMOs and my examples. Technically, yes, the later comments were not needed, but I was addressing questions and points raised by others. If they had not asked, or stated, them I would not have gone on with my anti-MMO postings. But I can buy one and not use it for six months without having to buy more sever time, and, as you said, they are optional.- Games you are looking forward to
I'm still looking forward to Left for Dead, although I will defiantly wait to see some reviews before getting it...- KOTOR III MMO Confirmed?
Sorry, I meant the development rights. That is what transferred, correct?- Elder Scrolls Online
Again, I would really only want to play on-line with a group of people I knew I could count on to be responsible, good players- Elder Scrolls Online
I disagree, even one or two great modules would make a single-player or independent multi-player game, like NWN I/II, worth buying even if the original game was a piece of ****. This is not the case with MMOs, if they are bad they will never be good- Yoda delivers the Gettysburg Address
In case the URL changes or is deleted:- Elder Scrolls Online
I know, but is it not true that some MMOs and MMORPGs do not charge monthly fees? As I mentioned in another topic, the only MMO I would buy at the moment is Guild wars or Guild Wars II, for they do not charge monthly fees to access their severs. Thus someone, like myself, who likes to switch games multiple times per week could stop playing for a month or two and come right back without the hassle of buying another subscription.- Elder Scrolls Online
I would not buy an Elder Scrolls Massively Multi-Player Role Playing Game, nor would I buy a Kot0R MMORPG, for not only do I loath MMOs and MMORPGs on principle- KOTOR III MMO Confirmed?
Well, to say the least, I feel differently about the aforementioned game. A MMORPG version of Knights of the Old Republic (Kot0R) would lack almost everything that made the series enjoyable, and thus I would never buy into it while there is still a change that a good, single-player Kot0R III was under consideration. In fact, even if they never manufactured the third installment, I would still not buy the MMORPG - as it would quickly turn into an underage "n0ob" cesspit. Not only would it likely feature real-time combat, as opposed to the masterfully done turn-based system in Kot0R I and The Sith Lords (TSL), but it would also have to surrender, or mutilate, the plot to make it into an endless story-arc reminiscent of the horrendous World of Warcraft (WoW). I would never buy WoW, and I will probably never buy a MMORPG that requires a monthly fee - something that rules out everything except Guild Wars and, possibly, Hellgate London. BioWare spokesman Matt Atwood has already said "...what you're seeing on the net is purely that, rumor and speculation," so I am not sure that Bioware owns the rights to Kot0R, for I believe they sold the development of the franchise to Obsidian Entertainment.- Wookie Fury
