I must be missing something. I fail to see what is funny, chimpanzees are omnivores and feeding it sausage (meat) would not go against it's species diet.

Did she come after you talked to T3 about his past companions? When that happens a hologram of Bastila will play. When she is done, she is suppose to disappear but some times that does not happen. It's a bug.
