If copy protection was perfect, there would be no more software piracy, which is the goal of copy protection.

1- Be in a decent financial situation to buy and furnish a house. 2- Have children. 3- Go back to school and finish my studies. 4- Write, produce, direct and complete one movie. Doesn't have to be seen by anyone but my closest friends, familly and cast & crew(friends) but some recognition would still be nice 5- Make a video game in my basement with friends as a hobby. 6- Write an illustrated book of short horror/Sci-fi stories. 7- In between all these, work on my house and play video games until the day I die in my sleep from cancer and/or complications from diabetes. In that order. P.S. Travel would also be great.

I like what Stardock did with GalCiv2. Everyone can play it but only the good guys are allowed to patch and update it. Only Stardock has the power to accept/distribute serial# and that is all that is needed. Keygens won't work and cracks are rendered useless. It's a great, smart and simple system. Hats off to them.

I just rewatched the season 2 finale. During the viewing, when Eko and Merry get the dynamite, I was thinking about how the Galleon Black Rock got on the island. What if it... sank? Like others here I believe Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Hurly have a plan B. And I'm pretty sure Michael is in on it. They just didn't tell the audience. Locke is alive because apparently Terry O'Quinn's contract has been renewed. Where's the "security system"? I wonder if Sayid will be able to recognize Edmond when he sees the corpse on the rocks, if it is still there. Because of Walt's "powers", I'm still not sure if all this is actually real. Henry did say they "got more then they bargained for when Walt joined" them. What does this mean? Charlie's behavior at the end of the episode is very strange, even for him. He knows something from when he was captured by The Others. Maybe he fulfilled his "mission" and his reward is Claire?

Perhaps. I usually go to bed at 10pm because I need to get up at 5am for work. I did get to see Clancy, the toes and most(I think) of Desmond's flashbacks. I really like this character. From what I've seen, I'm beginning to think they are all under a big huge dome, like The Truman Show. There is a model of this dome in the hatch methinks(sorry if this is a repeat but I don't want to read the thread to much to avoid as many spoilers as possible. So far I'm ok ), the round, white thingy made up of semitransparent triangles, one's missing(where the food may come from in the real-sized one...). It's also the shape of the ceiling in the hatch, where the button is. I'm thinking Desmond's ex-wife/girlfriend is funding Dharma but had no idea where they are. Maybe Dharma frauded her and disapeared? Maybe it has more to do with her father and she just wants to find the man she loves, a man her father sent away? Anyway, the episode is on Azureus now so I'll know more tonight. :D

What scares me the most about Starforce is the effect it can have on my hardware. Software can always be removed and reinstalled and at the worse one can reformat the HD. But if the hardware goes belly-up there is nothing to be done. I've played Starforce-infected games before but I didn't know until I saw the list on some anti-SF site. And when I read the effects this "protection" can have on some systems it was enough to steer me away from the products who have it. Not because I'm a proficient user of pirated software but because I just don't want to risk it. I don't care if a product is installed on my computer without my knowledge as long as it doesn't damage my hardware. Slowdowns don't bother me either because I usually reformat every 4-6 months and that solves all my computer problems everytime. Unless the hardware dies.

Want to know a funny story? I was watching the American Idol finale because the only channel I can watch Lost on was showing it first. So Lost started at 10pm for me. At about 10:30 I fell asleep. Last thing I remember are the 4 toes. And I woke up at 11:45. Can somebody come here and shoot me?

Yeah, GM is supplying most of the cars for the film I think. So likely Jazz will be a Vette or new camaro rather than a Porsche, Prime will be a big long nose GMC, etc. It will be lame. Personally, I don't see why they can't just go buy a Bug, take off the logos, and use that. Personal property is an illusion. Everything belongs to banks and corporations. Just like the Transformers name, brand, logos, merch. :D All signs point to this movie being a suckfest. However, all signs pointed at greatness for Phantom Menace. So I'll wait for some reviews and then go see it with a leveled head.
