  1. Probably Chloe. Lois will take her place at the Daily Planet ''I would die to protect your secret Clark'' She said in one episode this season. And in that same episode, Lois became interested in journalism. So Chloe dies, or Jonathan Kent.
  2. They've been discussing seccession for over a decade now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> More like 3 decades.
  3. They have policy south of the border? I thought they were a bunch of children using the world as a playground and doing whatever they want.
  4. RPGs usually involve your main character in a long adventure, fighting mythical creatures, hunting for treasure, solving quests and puzzles with a main goal of saving the imaginary world. RPGs must also allow the player to build and take care of a main character throughout the adventures, dialogs with NPCs, shops, skills, abilities. All RPGs have all of those basic elements in one way or another and then some. Most RPGs are also high fantasy, because of D&D universe that has become so influencial. many gamers won't even play a RPG unless it's based on D&D rules. I think it,s not enough for a game that has RPG elements to be called a RPG. A RPG must have ALL the elements to attain this status. Personnaly, if you can play a role and build a character, you are role-playing, you are playing a RPG. D&D or not. but I could be wrong, I've been playing video games, mostly RPGs, for only 23 years.
  5. You obviously seem more informed than me. I'm thinking Ab & On are not on the list because they already have all the money and must spread the wealth. So the rich must give to the poor. What's wrong with that?
  6. Torment II : Namehunter By Id Software
  7. Revealing the plot of upcoming games should be posted in the spoilers section
  8. Actually, Ontario and Alberta get more money then Quebec. Our PM(if you can call him that...) has been asking for a more equal sharing of Federal economy for years and it is one of the thing he(it?) hope the conservatives will implement. And the silent majority in Quebec is not separatist. Most people believe the government has more imprtant things to take care of, like employment, healthcare and education, before commiting ressources for referendum after referendum for a possible split with Canada, which has been voted NO by the silent majority everytime it was held. But since separatists are holding their end of the stick with a lot of glue, we will have another referendum, probably shortly after the next provincial election in Quebec.
  9. And they are bigoted toward you. A perfect world ! I am in agreement with the rest of your statement, however they do have a right to think and express whatever they want, just as we do.
  10. There is a silent majority in Quebec that disagrees with you. We are canadians first, Quebecers second.
  11. In 10-15 years it will be mandarin
  12. Pot, meet Kettle. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I live there. I was including myself in that first quote(mostly) and I was not talking at anyone in particular.
  13. Slightly agressive aren't we (before the mod edit that is...)? This is exactly the kind of thing I was writing about. Of course language is part of a culture, as a means of communicating it to the people concerned. The thing is that in Quebec, anglophones are part of our culture, wether the francophones accept it or not. Putting together a language police in order to block(no pun intended) a part of this province's distinct culture is wrong. And the fact that a lot of francophones in Quebec are ready to become violent about it is proof of their narrowmindedness. And the problem is on both sides. Anglophones are sticking together as are Francophones. One can pinpoint French and Anglo ''gettos'' in Montreal. We need to mix things up, make friends with each other. This war is over! We need to grow up as a society before we even think about becoming a country. Thats all I'm saying.
  14. Neighbours. That's what we want to be. You think neighbours don't have partnerships? If, in the future, the people of the province of Quebec decide to become sovereign, you will want to break all bridges between the two nations? To everybody's disadvantage? If you're talking about us wanting to keep the money or the passport or whatever I agree, that's ridiculous and I wouldn't want that. Now explain that cowardice part in your post, I'm not sure I get that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm french Canadian in Montreal, fully bilingual and I for one, if Quebec splits I'll be moving to Ontario. French Quebecers are fascists, narrowminded idiots. Fascists because they force the language upon everyone and will not accept any compromise, especially with the anglophone community. They even have a frakkin' language police that disregard basic needs of other human beings. Narrowminded because they beleive that their language is their culture, when language is only a means to communicate. If language was cultural, nothing would ever be translated, it would be like repainting the Mona Lisa with blue eyes. You can write, sing, speak ABOUT the culture in French but French itself is not a culture. Get over it! Idiots because english is the universal language on this planet and if they ever seperate, most American and foreign businesses will move to Ontario to avoid all them crazy laws, which force extra costs on companies to translate everything. Why can't they just adopt a bilingual status, like New Brunswick, I'll never really know. Oh and their love of hockey and the importance they put on it is behond fanaticism. I'm glad the Conservatives ''won''. Liberals have proven their corruption, the Bloc wants to destroy the country and the NDP has never even been in the game.
  15. Night of the Raven was an interesting expansion pack for Gothic 2. The second chapter of the game was notoriously difficult. So when it was time to make an expansion, the developpers decided to add a chapter after the first, to give more xp to the player to tackle chapter 2 (now chap 3). There was also a seamless integration of the new content in chapter 1 and 2 (now chap 3). Maybe they could do a similar thing with KOTOR 2, adding a planet and a series of miniquests to solve the storyline problems, along with the usual assortment of new enemies, weapons and other stuff. We would have to start a new game but its so good, who would mind?
  16. And where is their empire now? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We let the countries under our rule declare/ask for their independence and get away with it. We even said "yes" when Canada asked. Edit: but in answer to the original topic - No, a truce is not possible, and will never be possible as long as both sides are intent on killing one another. And at least one of them is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Canada is still under the rule of the Queen if I am not mistaken. We still have a Governor General who reports to the Queen. Of course this is more symbolic in practice now, but on paper Canada is still a British colony.
  17. Wow. I think you are the first person to admit watching and liking this "film". Ever. It is known as one of the worst movies ever made.
  18. Truth to the extreme. I wish more people would look at these events, since 9/11, with such a clear perspective. Too many are blinded by patriotism and belief in the all powerful providencial government. There are no "good" intentions here. " The US (read : US leaders) wants that oil. Period. Iraq provide Europe and Asia(China...) with oil. Whoever controls that ressource controls the old continents. Just like Venezuela and Saudi Arabia controls North America. " The world needs another energy source to make those cars run.
  19. KOTOR 2. Again. Finished K1 last week. Again. When K2 is done, I think I'll tackle Fallout 2 or Fallout Tactics. You guys have made me want to play those again.
  20. Jan 19, 11:11 AM (ET) By LEE KEATH "The delay in similar operations happening in America has not been because of failure to break through your security measures. But the operations are happening in Baghdad and you will see them here at home the minute they are through (with preparations), with God's permission," he said. So... Bin Laden has his home in the US?!
  21. His war is about money. All wars are about money. Or ressources. Whoever controls those ressources has more money. And Power but you can't have power without money. Who controls Saudi Arabia?
  22. war has never been about deaths .. it has been about the introduction or destruction of ideas! he wants to destroy Christianity and parts our culutre, we want to destroy parts of his! human casulties are just numbers to leaders, what matters is how many hear your word and how many agree with you.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> War is about money. Period. Religion is used to gather support, followers and recruit soldiers who will do anything for their God. The US do the same thing, but you can add Flag as a means of recruitment. These leaders should all be shot.
  23. And just like the Palestinians, his country is being taken over by intruders who want more ressources.
  24. Is that a good thing?
