  1. Congrats!!! (w00t) ...Will you have a plastic cake? :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Muahahaha very funny. No really, very funny. And thank you.
  2. She will get my fridge eventually. We're getting married in 2 months :D
  3. Yes Astro: think about it this way: If it fades, you buy her a new..again and again, and she will love you for that...again and again <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thats one way to look at it. There was a poll recently in a local newspaper that asked who are more materialistic, men or women. Men came in first... The poll was surely put together by women. Couldn't I just find her a screensaver that shows flowers blooming again and again? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is it really so hard to get flowers where you live? No plains or shops near you? I like to walk in spring a little on the field full of flowers near my house <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, no it's not that hard to find flowers. Like I said in my first post on this thread, I'm super poor. So, every dollar counts and recently it's been very hard to make ends meet. So, if all I can afford are plastic flowers and my girlfriend, knowing my financial situation, is willing to brake-up with me because I didn't buy her real flowers, then fine, brake-up, babe. I don't need someone who's so materialistic that she will break up with me for a 20-30$ difference in flower costs. if it's really the thought that counts, the constitution of the flowers should not a difference. Anyway, I slaved in the kitchen for a good hour cooking for her. The candlelight dinner I prepared ended up costing more than some flowers and not only was there a thought involved but also some sweat, tears and effort. In return, I got a kiss and a thank you, which to me is worth a lot more coming from her than all the roses in the world. Because its the thought that counts. I love you sweety ! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ....plastic flowers are cheaper then real ones??? go out , and just pick some for free <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Can't pick roses here(Eastern Canada) in February. Freezing rain kills roses.

  6. So artificial flowers would be fine, then? Or is the thought in question simply to spend money?
  7. What is romantic about giving a loved one a fading gift? Giving flowers is like giving death. And why are artificial flowers a big no no. They last forever, like our love.
  8. Hades likes Fallout and Torment, possibly Baldur's Gate and PnP D&D. Thats it. At least thats the way he seems to feel about video games. Nothing wrong with that, really. There are very good games, the best actually. But they are what, 5 to 10 years old! He's entitled to his opinions just like the rest of us. Anyway I loved Diablo 1 & 2 when I was playing them but I don't think I will reinstall them anytime soon. Been there, done that, I want something different. So if they do make D3, it better have some major advancements and a lot more depth.
  9. 1. Depending on the year, you would be wrong. 2. No matter how anti-Bush/US/The White Man anyone here is, I doubt anyone real thinks the soliders want more people to die (other than the people trying to harm them and the British guy filming the beatings). If you want to look at the cause of the killing, maybe take a look at the Iraqis themselves. I don't think it was us who blew up 4 kids walking to school in Iraq today. Link <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good point.
  10. So Saddam was doing a good job then? People were kept in line. It seems to me the price paid for removing him is way too high. That is why the country is occupied, because since the harda**ed leader is out, the only way to keep things under "control" is to keep soldiers there. Was Saddam killing thousands a year like this occupation is doing? I think not. And let make one thing clear. I am onlyasking questions here because the subject is interesting to me. I am not taking anyone's side, simply saying what impressions I have of this whole thing.
  11. Icewind Dale is more strategy RPG than Hack & Slash. It's BG without the depth. Diablo is fast and hectic. Icewind Dale is slow and methodical. Both are equally exciting in their own way, to different people.
  12. Why? WHY??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why indeed. Saul Karath : Robin Williams Bastila : Mini Driver There is a pattern and some sarcasm here...
  13. I am super poor so it went down like this : No flowers. They fade pretty fast and I don't want that to represent our love. No present. See the first line of this post I made her a nice dinner, candlelights and a chick flick that I watched all the way through with her(that Tuscan Sun thingy with Diane Lane ). And then, well, I must now spare you the best part
  14. Why are they still occupying anyway? Didn't big B said the war was over 2-3 years ago on that aircraft carrier?
  15. I guess it all depends on each one's definition of "not bad acting".
  16. It sucks for you. Millions of avid Diablo players can't be wrong just because you say so. Or are you a God wasting your eternity in these forums? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll just point out that millions of people can be wrong. 2000 != New millenium. Diet Dr. Pepper != Dr. Pepper The Backstreet Boys are not good entertainers. etc... etc... etc... Also, it isn't just because he says so. There are quite a few people of the opinion that Diablo sucks. You know, quantity isn't quality, and all that jazz. Personally, I couldn't care less about the Diablo series, they're alright dungeon crawling hack and slashers, but not much else. There certainly isn't any role-playing in them, and they're certainly mindless. In any event, this has gone way off-topic. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  17. She CAN ..., that's why I suggested her BTW: Becouse she's a sexy chameleon, she can really look like Bastilla. On some of her fotos she already does <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've seen her on Sliders, in Anaconda and a few other Z-movies. I'm sorry Jorian but she CANNOT act. She would be much better as Juhani
  18. Is this a TV spin-off of White Chicks? It's rating$ploitation.
  19. PM me some more pics and I might

  21. Which is part of the problem. Soldiers have the permit to harm and kill civilians if necessary in a war (such as if they suspect the civilians are terrorists), but where do you draw the limits of that permit? A different set of laws governing the military does not make what it commits any less atrocious in the eyes of the population. To them, it's only a matter of semantics, and at any case, demonstrates why the occupation is unwelcome. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Please educate me if I am mistaken here. Soldiers forfeit their citizenship when they enroll in the army. They have no more rights, they have privileges. They have no more responsibilities, they have orders. If the order is to blow up a schoolbus full of handicap children because a wheelchair could be conceiling a bomb, they will blow up that schoolbus before it reaches any allied facility. Period. Those kids were pestering them and they have the order to eliminate any potential threat from the enemy. What if one of those enemy children were throwing grenades? Imo, those kids got off easy. They could've been executed and the only thing that prevented that was the soldiers' brainwashed but still lightly active conscience.
  22. Late fourties.
  23. You play an old guy in Splinter Cell. It's just a character.
  24. You people are all drunk. Jolee can only be played by Ron Glass (I love Keith David but he's too fat or "big") And Canderous can only be played by either Ron Perlman or Adam Baldwin. Kreia : Judy Dench
  25. Cheney shot his lawyer by "accident". That is true. And now jokes are out of control. With good reason.
