  1. Afaik it's just a UI thing. The modals don't affect the "wrong" weapon. A bit annoying that's right.
  2. And it shows in your posts, too.
  3. The problem is that she basically runs into enemies all the time while terrified. If she would just crouch down and stay there it wouldn't be too bad.
  4. As @Phenomenum said: only upgrades like Greater Lay on Hands (costs more Zeal and thus doesn't replace the original Lay on Hands) that create a separate ability in your bar should use their higher PL for scaling. If an upgrade replaces the base ability it should use the base ability's PL for scaling. Not a glitch afaik. Mule Kick maybe. But don't you keep Knockdown as well?
  5. Implode? So there will be a vacuum in the combat log?
  6. "Level scale up only" already exists as a difficulty option. "Champion mobs" is basically PotD. "Grand Master Ship Captains" would be more annoying than all god challenges combined. "I can think of a few that would be really cool though": can you though?
  7. one last time before I freeze them and they go into production (this time the naked symbols - how they will get used in game - but then scaled down to 42x42) this version is scaled down a bit for convenience. Phenomenum will get a higher RES.
  8. Two handers already have +1 PEN. They are on par with dual wielding. Single handed style is too bad though (after the early game and setting aside some special stuff like pistol + modal and Scordeo's Edge).
  9. An Assassin wants a weapon with the highest base damage to get the most out of Assassinate and Backstab - and/or lashes, right. So unfortunately and counterintuitively light weapons are bad for Assassinate + Backstab. Stuff like Run-Through from Whispers of the ENdless Paths, the Chromoprismatic Staff (quarterstaff) or Dragon's Dowry (arquebus) who either have high base damage or good lashes are nice. Rust's Poignard is a great weapon, but it doesn't perform too well with Assassination and Backstab from stealth or invisibility. Captain Crow is nice as well, but also not optimal for Backstabs and stuff.
  10. Not really since it doesn't stack the same way as a conversion. But I agree that it makes a lot of sense to connect mastery not only to damage but also to accuracy. If a Ranger can be a Marksman (+ACC) then a weapon master should also get +ACC.
  11. Like yours. I already tried to explain but it was futile. >66% pro change (when multiple pro change options: <=34% no change) --> basic.
  12. In this chart is not included: Revenue since Turn Based Mode was introduced (apparently led to a solid spike in sales). Upcoming console releases. I'd say there's a pretty good chance.
  13. So... this is the third time I'll mention this because it's superannoying and we got zilch reaction so far: What about the limitation of editing (currently 8 days?). I can't edit some pinned posts/threads anymore. Example: Deadfire character build list. @MaxQuest can't edit the Deadfire Polishing Poll anymore... It can't be too hard to remove this limit, can it? It wasn't there before and nobody missed it I guess. So please! Make it go away! Shooo shooo!
  14. Oh - and Scion of Flame doesn't work with any Damage-over-Time effect like Dragon Thrashed. So if you don't use any other direct burn damage (like Fireballs or a burning lash on your weapon) I wouldn't take it.
  15. Just use Kana with the Dragon Thrashed (it stacks with itself when it overlaps), give him +INT and +MIG gear as well as Voice of the Mountaintop and a Ring of Overseeing (or Aloth's armor). MIG adds more damage per tick and INT adds more ticks through linger time. The two items I mentioned will enlarge the AoE. To reach most enemies the front line would be ideal. But second row is also ok. The Dragon Thrashed will get +12 accuracy if you use a single handed weapon without offhand weapon. Chants are the only non-melee abilities who have that. If you want to use an estoc that's fine, just note that its damage will be very insignificant compared to your chant's damage. Armor, DEX and speed in general will not influence your chanting. So you can get away with plate armor and lose no chant-dps.
  16. Here's them all with indicators (which was altered recently) @ocelotter's idea of removing those streaks from Wildstrike's claws and adding them back for Wildstrike Frenzy sounds good. I will try and see how ot looks. I'd like to keep upgradeable passives and their upgrades quite similar and this would allow for it.
  17. Ok. Now Distracting Training. Is this really the last one that's at debate? Because I think I heard not much about the other icons (also new ones). Berserker is new, Fury is new, Corpse Eater and so on. All good? Can't be... However - Distracting Training: @Phenomenum: Better? Even good? Or still not ok?
  18. No trap builds attribute system was nearly the same in PoE?
  19. You mean "immune"? Will save you some letters. Battle Axes are very good due to their modal - if you ignore enchantments and only judge the generic weapons. Modwyr has two very good enchantments and dual damage. But for every enemy there's the perfect weapon - and it's not always the same. Guess that was the design goal in the first place.
