  1. Hey guys, This has been fixed in the 3.02 patch! It was indeed really OP and TBH I really liked it.
  2. Hey jesusleon, Welcome to the forums and thank you for joining us! This can happen while traveling great distances, due to large amount of time passing. Visitors only stay for a certain amount of time. So they could have left while you were traveling somewhere. Let me know if that is the case. Thanks.
  3. Hey ApolloBez, Then, unfortunately there isn't much you can do without cheating. You can use the console command to teleport out of the dungeon, but you will not have access to your stronghold for the remainder of the game. If you want, you can start a new game and play on Story Time Mode to zoom past Act 1. The White March unlocks after you reach the Temple of Woedica in Act 2 and you can change the difficulty to whatever you like and go to The White March. Sorry I couldn't be any more of help.   4. Hey Karnashuk, Are you playing on Steam or GOG? If you are on Steam, try verifying your game cache. In your Steam library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. If you are on GOG, please uninstall and install the 3.01 installers on the GOG website. If those issues don't get resolved, could you please upload a save file and an output log so I can take a look? You can find those files by clicking on the link in my signature. As for the white text, we are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. Thanks!

  7. Hey PostModernPrimate, It sounds like some of your files are corrupt or missing. If you have Steam, please verify your game cache. In your Steam Library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Hope that helps!

  11. Hey asant, You can use dropbox to upload files here. Are you using GOG? They have a hotfix patch that was preventing users from seeing their save files.
  12. Hello again, Do you happen to have a save right before you opened the door? The programmers are informing me that your save before the forge fight already has the issue.
  13. Hey lantzk, Have you tried reinstalling the game? I looked at your output log and I notice a lot of issues. I would suggest you uninstall it, remove local files, then download the 3.01 installers. Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Hello ChopShop, I apologize for the inconveniences, and I understand that your time is very valuable, but without uploading a save files and an output log I can't really see whats going on with your game or system. I truly want to help you and make sure your game is working correctly. By the sounds of it, you just need to verify your game cache (if you are playing on Steam) as your installation is either missing files or some of them are corrupted. Since these issues haven't been reported on the forums for quite some time. I'll do my best to assist you with the information I have. Your game may be out of date, we are currently on v3.01.0977. If you are playing on Steam, please verify your game cache. In your Steam Library, right click Pillars of Eternity > Properties > Local Files Verify Integrity of Game Cache. If you are playing on GOG, unfortunately you will have to uninstall the game and redownload the 3.01 installers. If you are using GOG Galaxy, please verify/repair your game under the games configuration settings in the Galaxy Client. I hope that helps! If there is still an issue, please at upload an output log so I can take a look. (Note: You do not need dropbox to upload text files to the forums) Thank you for your support.
  15. Hey Xaratas, Those files can be ignored as well. I'm not sure what the bs, db, or te means, but that was in a result of those files being renames but did not update in the database.
  16. Hey guys, I can't seem to get this to happen to me on my end and I'm using Edrin's save. Do you know what specifically happens to get this to trigger? I know both abilities are suppose to have aoe.

  18. Hey phimseto, I have reproduced your bug in your save and written up a bug report. Whether if it is tied to the second to last part of Act 2, I am not sure. I'll have to test further to confirm this. Thanks for all your help! Keep on rockin!
  19. Hey guys, I am unclear on the what bug is. If you go where you aren't suppose to go in the area, then the pale elves will attack you as they don't really want you exploring the frost. Thank!

  22. Hey Achilles, I just checked into this and loaded up a save with said issue, but after retraining, the issue went away and she only have 1 of Graceful Retreat. The fix didn't retroactively remove the abilities on load, but if you retrain, it should clear it up.

  24. Hey miezulcarpatin, I loaded up your save and everything looks good on my end. I notice quite a bit of errors in your logs. Unfortunately since you are using GOG, you will have to uninstall and reinstall the game. Unless you are using GOG Galaxy, you can use the verify/repair function which will fix your files.
