Portable shield generators or the gungan shields? I know the portable shields do (as demonstrated in The Courtship of Princess Leia). Portable shield generators would be awesome as they are good for attack, and defense (overall mass deflection from any direction). Both I guess.

Dxunn? I doubt there is a swoop track there, it's supposed to be uninhabited apart from fierce monsters, not known for thie interest in competative sports. There are probably some Sith tomb raiders as well, but I doubt establishing a racing circut would be a priority. On the other hand 5 years is plenty of time to rebuild a racing circuit, and it would give the survivors something to do.

Why doesn't eveyone use Gungan shields? 1) Gungans have some of the most advanced shield tech in the galexy (developed to keep thier underwater homes cosy-dry). 2) Unless you have jedi reflexes they only protect a portion of the body (and battle droids are to dumb to use headshots). 3) They only last for a few shots then run out of power. Yes I have read Shatterpoint, and I agree, the vibroshields are cool.

As I mentioned in another thread I think this is highly likely to happen. It explains the 10th character slot which depends on alignment, gender and class (you get an apprentice appropiate to your choice of prestege class). It has also been mentioned that the teacher/student relationship theme will be central to TSL.

I'm just relived to find out how that planet got trashed. I was worried we had Sith running around with an underpowered Death Star.

The only characters that can be critical to TSL are those we know survived KotOR i.e. T3, HK and Canderous.

But some of the FMV is being done by Lucasarts. Since this is a different team of people more FMV can be added without increasing the development time.

I got quite lucky and managed to play the x-box version on a demo machine in a shop (HMV Preston) for a significant time.

It's an interesting issue, but I would say that role playing is something that occurs between two or more people who act as if they are different people or in a different situation to their eveyday lives. From this defintion multiplayer diabalo may be a CRPG, KotOR certainly is not. (Call it a Graphic Adventure/Turn Based Stratagy game).

The PC is human and I bet you bash more humans than anything else (with droids a close second). T3 and Zalibaar didn't talk much either. And there is Piggy the smart gamorian in the Wraith Squadron books, although he is a product of genetic manipulation.

Your characters would get so powerful that you could run right over them withot being hurt! If you disarm the mines you can take 'em down t' shop and flog 'em (Yorkshire accent). I suspect Demolitions may have "Workbench" applications in TSL. Mines could be converted into grenades or rockets, or visa versa.

I think this is just extra animations, not extra abilities.

I believe so. You've been trapped there by Sith or something. I just thought that if the PC was not in possesion of the Hawk at the start of the game it might have arrived there to deliver HK-47, who has been programed by Revan to hunt down the PC and is responsible for reprograming the Pergarus droids.

Maybe HK-47 was destroyed, but managed to download his personality matrix into T3? Now T3 has a split personality.... By the way has it been stated anyware that the PC arrived on Pergarus on the Ebon Hawk?
