LVL 12 is driving me crazy WTF I'm supposed to snatch first?
  5. Damn straight, dude. The game pretty much takes a nosedive towards the end. It's too hack and/or slash-y for my liking. Yeah, I've heard that many times, but often I hear the turning point is the Nosferatu sewers (which were HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE, worst area in game by far) and what came afterwards - Chinatown etc. - was overall great and offered variety of missions (though Chinatown was a lot smallet than others) so I didn't think too much out of it. Combat isn't that horrible. It's still clunky but it is better than I was led to believe (and what I believed based on early game), sometimes even fun. It is great to munchkin loads of enemies with combo of lvl 5 Celerity and automatic shotgun Still, Hallowbrook hotel sucks hard. Maybe I have enough will tomorrow to slug through...
  6. They really need to tell us when that interview was done
  7. So, whole thing was getting better and better... ...and then I end up in some sort of ****ing Hallowbrook Hotel full with bloodthirsty sabbath. This level SUCKS hard.
  8. If I'm reading it right, you are disagreeing. Kelverin is saying that Dalton Bond is the closest to the book Bond. Therefore Dalton Bond is the closest to "real" bond. You are saying that Craig Bond is the closest to "real" Bond. Yes, we are disagreeing on THAT But we are AGREEING on that Dalton Bond is fairly "real" portrayal of character and NOT IN THE SAME GROUP WITH MOORE ETC.

  12. Yeah... I wasn't disagreeing with you! I just said Casino Royale is closest to real Bond, even closer than Dalton.

Fantastic first half Here's hoping for Portugal emerges victorious
  14. I'm saying Dalton Bond is dealing with "small stuff" and not saving the world all the time like your typical movie Bond

The Who - Pinball Wizard **** YEAH
  16. Oblivions stealth relied on both player skill and character skill unlike Deus Ex which (excluding augmentation) had stealth being dependant upon plyer skill and only player skill. I used DX as better example of game blending character and player skills. Never argued it wasn't silly. However it's not THAT big flaw. What is this equaly broken system you're speaking of?

Today I am very happy because we get dinosaurs in SoZ
  18. Looks like we were right with their intention to include those Chult references in MotB Oh, and WE GET DINOSAURS?
  19. Yet another interview!
  20. Oblivion is really bad example because character skills really doesn't matter, all that matters is player skills Deus Ex would've been better example This isn't minigame though. And you forget what we see in CRPG's is more symbolical than literate. For example in turn based combat you stand next to guy but somehow manage to miss with yout shotgun. Maybe your character was blinded by sun and lost his balance or maybe small rocks on which he was standing on slipped and he misfired etc. D&D sneaking (as it is seen) is similarly symbolic process Besides, Oblibans stealth mechanics sucked anyhow
  21. I have no reason not to believe them read: I have reasons to believe they have the crack and they haven't whined anywhere about them. Also such cracks are quickly made and spread
  22. Xard replied to Hildegard's topic in Way Off-Topic
    ...I've never heard of them
  23. I didn't said it was main factor. Notice the word "partially"
  24. What was that noise? Oh right, it was Volourn creaming his pants! edit: I never undestood from where the "MotB sold poorly" myth came from. I saw it in Top Ten lists in many European countries, in Finland it was third in sales at one point IIRC
