  1. I'd play that before Diablo 3. Also, one would think that as Blizzard already has more money than God, they could actually use their time to release something new instead of another bleeding sequel. bla bla moan moan
  2. SoZ should be coming out in fall
  3. DIABLO III DIABLO III DIABLO III DIABLO III NWN2: SoZ Red Alert 3 Alpha Protocol
  4. ! **** YEAH
  5. Put the trailer back , I really liked the way Blizzard build tension with the music in the beginning
  6. Holy **** the trailer is awesome, ****ing awesome edit: btw I knew it was Arthas in that glowing eyes pic
  7. 1. Take one of your awesome IPs 2. Add some great and enduring art design (art direction is only reason why WoW's visuals have stood against time as well as they have, like direction or not) 3. Add Battle.net and some best multiplaying experiences one can have and great dedication to make all **** balanced. 4. Do not innovate but instead perfect your mechanics and GUI in order to produce easy to get in and rewarding experience. 5. On top of it add some level of dedication and care no other developer gives Point Four makes Blizzard what Bioware so desperately tries to be.
  8. lol Anyway, this looks awesome
  9. Jesus Blizzard is seriously aiming at becoming The Biggest Developer (as if they weren't already) Wow generates them millions all the time, Starcraft II will shake the RTS scene and now there's mother****ing Diablo 3
  10. It's not like brittons couldn't have taken colonies back - it's just they had more pressing matters at hand and more valuable areas And the itty bitty tax was only made due to severe lack of cash British Empire ended in after finaly wtfpwning French after seemingly never-ending war.

  13. Yeah I just don't get where this whole "dialogues suck" thing came from. I haven't played MGS4 but in previous titles I found dialogue to be average overall (if compared to everything) but pretty good for a game.
  14. Haha, I mentioned Alvin specifically because he was lurking in this topic when I posted that (though you propably figured it out ) Do you think interviewer might've confused MCA's role as creative lead for Aliens RPG in pre-development to being lead designer?
  15. Yeah, it is quite possible to make good translation. But japanese has many words and meanings which just don't have english equivalent. For another example in finnish we have 5 to 10 (can't remember exactly) for snow.
  16. I wonder how much fault goes on the translation though - it is horrible thing to try translate from Japanese to English. It is much more complex and nyanced language full with inclined meanings just on the order words go. English on the other hand is evolved point of rather straight forwardness (though rules of your language more than a bit nonsensical compared to other languages in your language family - well, nothing that some hundreds of years of language evolution won't take care of) I should know - NGE has THREE major subs and none of those gets all quite right although Literal Translation Project and Platinum DVD subs are both great. But both miss SOMETHING and series with such subtle aspects forming theories on "wtf is happening at time" or "what's meaning of that" can be quite horrendous task, especially when remembering Anno has tendency to use particularly contrived though masterful use of japanese language. I guess thing is somewhat same in MGS's- many sentences that make perfect sense and flow in japanese may end up incredibly corny and stupid line in english. See Final Fantasy translations for example. Of course Kojima may just suck at writing dialogue in japanese too but from experience I'd blame translations
  17. So, I posted questions there. They're some of the ones actively circulated here and I doubt they'd get asked otherwise
  18. Damn, I might just have to register
  19. Instead of statistics I could've said numerous researches and surveys and my point wouldn't have changed.
  20. Cool, I'm off to Germany in next week btw, heh ...is it good thing?
  21. I don't think so. They're not targetting at the same audience with their current projects Those companies responsible for Sacred 2 or Argonauts however...
  22. After going through Mantis I see most of the bugs are cutscenes related. This is not surprising, kotor engine reportedly was horrendous with making cutscenes. Obsidian struggled constantly with making cutscenes work while game was under development. Kotor engine as it was just didn't suite cutscenes too well
