Shady's Eurotrip
The eyes look different - made out of something other than what the rest of the statue is? No idea about the eyes but I was wondering about it myself but couldn't find much info on the statue other than the name of the person who made it and that it was a really big deal when it was finally moved. It's supposedly the last fully intact Lenin statue in the Baltic states but I couldn't find any sources to that claim

Just Estonia and Russia which I'm pretty sad about. I wanted to and had originally planned go to Amsterdam (for more than a layover) and Helsinki but those plans got dropped due to time EDIT: Almost forgot, more pics! and for LoF and/or oby They moved this statue of Lenin to the castle courtyard from the town square outside so nobody would vandalize it or something after the Soviet Union fell

Rather than spam the picture thread I thought I would just dump some of my favorite pictures from each city here First up is Narva On the left is Ivangorod Fortress in Russia and on the right is Hermann Castle in Estonia and the bridge is the border crossing over the Narva river Another shot of Ivangorod Fortress in Ivangorod (lucky coincidence) Hermann Castle in Narva again I'll post some more photos from the courtyard and tower as soon as they all copy over to my computer

I liked what I think DA2 was trying to do but not the execution of it I really wanted more DA:O with some slight improvements but what I got was a jRPG* *not intended as a factual statement and I've never played a jRPG so I have no idea what I'm talking about but I liked the first game much more

Finally got a raise that I've been waiting a few months for Smaller than expected.... (that's what she said) In other news, I survived a week in Russia and am back in Estonia until Tuesday then it's back to the states PS St Petersburg was nice- Best Police in the World
It is a nice chunk of money but they very nearly killed him No food and water and handcuffed until he lost enough weight to slip out of them EDIT: Amentep beat me to it- Shadowrun Returns
Finished the main campaign and enjoyed it but I wish it wasn't quite so linear. I would have liked more non story runs and legwork and all that jazz. A few things I wonder about -Heal 1 when there are no other Heal spells. Maybe Heal 2 would heal the last 2 or 3 attacks and so on and I did like that they set it up magical healing that way, it made things a bit more interesting -All the locked doors that there didn't seem to be a way to get past -Silence spells when there is no stealth I didn't mind the lack of looting at all but the save system pissed me off more than a few times when I had to start all over again from the beginning of a map- Best Police in the World

I'll second the all inclusive Mexican resorts. Especially the adult only ones as other peoples screaming kids aren't typically great at setting the mood. The missus and I spent 3 weeks just outside of Cancun and it was great and we only left the resort to go on the different excursions that were offered (Chichen Itza,etc)- Humble Bundle Store Thread

Are you looking to get laid and party or something more touristy? I was thinking something romantic. My girlfriends birthday is in October and I wanted to surprise her with a vacation somewhere exciting. From what I'm seeing though Italy might be a hell of a lot more trouble than I thought. It seems to require a lot of planning to actually see all the interesting places. It's something you can just go and do when you feel like it. I was actually looking at the US Virgin Islands but October is the peak of hurricane season. So, now I'm looking at Jackson Hole or Hawaii I like Jackson Hole, it's nice if you both enjoy the outdoors I haven't been to Italy but some friends swear by the Amalfi coast - What you did today
