    Leftovers last night and pasta carbonara tonight. We didn't have any guanciale or pancetta so we had to make do with some slab bacon. Turned out pretty good still I'm not competing with anyone. I'd probably lose to Gromnir and a few others around here. I just like to cook

    Was it Best Friends? I know they are near you. It was a puppy mill rescue organization based out of Colorado Springs. The name was something similar to that, I can check in the morning.

    Agreed on Romo Some of the sports writers here have been pushing for it for a while now but I can't imagine he'd make it through the season since the best line in the league couldn't even keep him on the field

    Made some more tamales Tonight we are having steaks with a mushroom brandy cream sauce, grilled scallions, mashed cauliflower, brussel sprouts with bacon and shallots, and honey glazed carrots Followed by too many tamales and leftover chitlins then we'll see where the night takes us

    Happy Festivus! I made tamales and chitlins then gave my dogs a bath and took care of my sick wife. I also cleaned up a bit since no cleaning lady this week

    I just want a pretty box. I don't care if it's empty, I might even prefer it to be empty. I'd rather the money be spent on kumquats and imported cheese's or whatever fuels video game development Bonus points if it's a signed empty box

    Larceny Bourbon I haven't even tasted it yet just been smelling it for about an hour Update - finally got around to tasting it. Good flavor as I like wheated bourbons but it tastes hotter than I'd expect at 92 proof but at under 25 bucks for a fifth I can recommend it

    Finished The OA on Netflix I'm still not sure if I like it or not and if I think it's good or not, maybe tomorrow. Seriously, someone watch this show and then tell me if I liked it or not

    Dungeon Keeper is the free game on Origin this month but Bio was/is doing some 5 day giveaway and Mass Effect 2 was free this morning but dunno if that was a mistake
