  1. It's been nicer, but still too cold for me, weather recently so my MiL has been hanging out on the back patio a lot. She's kinda weird in some of the things she does but yesterday upped her game. She took some pillows off of our couch, which is the most expensive piece of furniture that we have, and took them outside for some unknown reason. Anyways, nobody realized she did this yesterday until I released the hounds this morning and saw them still sitting outside on the patio furniture. We have outdoor pillows and cushions already out there and we have extra outdoor stuff in the garage so, yeah, I dunno.
  2. The latest battle over the Confederate flag isn’t happening where you’d expect I grew up not that far from the westernmost battle* of the Civil War and find "the Far Western Front" stuff pretty interesting because it's local history and usually ignored or glossed over. *It was less than 2 dozen people so I want to make sure to set expectations appropriately. Also, the badder guys won.
  3. Hmm, I'll try to keep an open mind but none of their games outside of Shadowrun and Battletech have interested me.
  4. A new Tecmo Bowl when?
  5. HoMM style tactical combat? That's a stretch goal that I never knew I always wanted.
  6. Can't say I agree with that. I think Biden would at least appoint better people and also actually listen to them.
  7. Oh yeah, I think we've got Trump again for the next however many years.
  8. I guess technically it could be considered a conspiracy but it's pretty much what happened last time as Zor pointed out. The party is allowed to try to tip the scales as it sees fit and while it might be unfair to Bernie such is life.
  9. No, not really and not directly. They are trying to drive down and explain away his support somewhat gleefully though. Biden was basically saved by Jim Clyburn and then bolstered by the other candidates in his lane all dropping out and supporting him
  10. I don't like the past tense part but otherwise I'm open to it
  11. I doubt it too. They spread that same rumor last time around.
  12. Enslaved nations with necromancy
  13. Bump because it's still relevant Give us us Star Trek RPG
  14. Interplay had some Trek titles that he may have worked on but I was referring the time when Feargus as CEO of Obsidian passed on Star Trek . https://kotaku.com/the-knights-of-new-vegas-5968952
  15. Feargus passed on it But even still there are some of us who still hold out hope
  16. Nah, he'll stay independent as I highly doubt he'd run a 3rd time in his 80s I had a physical a couple of weeks ago and the doctor's office staff straight up said to be careful what you say because if you mention any issues then the medical staff has to note it and it could change whether your insurance will still cover the physical as preventative or classify it as something else that you may have to pay out of pocket for. That's pretty crazy, bad crazy not good crazy.
  17. Mpemba effect: The fastest way to heat certain materials may be to cool them first
  18. It's not a move I'd make but I guess maybe if I was super desperate to win now and didn't care beyond the next season
  19. I thought D:OS2 had romances? I never got past the first couple of maps in that game because I hated the armor system
  20. VA called for Biden and Vermont for Sanders
  21. I don't think the branding made a huge difference in the success of the nuFallouts TBH. I also think it was more due to popular Bethesda gameplay in a different setting, Skyrim Oblivion with guns as it was jokingly put, more or less.
  22. I'm already convinced that Trump is going to win. Too much division in the Democratic ranks and I feel like they're overall less likely to fall in line than the Republicans were. Many of Bernie's policies have broad popular support but even then I don't believe he will be able to get many of them passed but that's not a deal breaker for me because I just want someone who will try to make some of the changes that I feel we need and also put the spotlight on more issues that I care about. I'm not trying to convince anyone else and as I said earlier, I just find the discourse about him disingenuous in a very obvious way that seems to be treated seriously.
  23. Bruce, I love that line of argument because it disregards the current situation of the last past however many years. How're we paying for anything?
