  1. Make an "Override" folder in your KotOR1 or KotOR2 files (depending on which the mod is for) then you usually get the mods in .rar format, you have have to get winrar and extract the files ( i do all of this in my documents) then when i have the mod file i just copy it (ctrl+c) then paste into the Override folder (ctrl+v) then i either use the KSE to spawn my item
  2. Ok, well you can basically turn about 80% of your party into jedi but you just need to get into dept with them in their dialogue, and also you need a lot of infulence (if you have the pC version the KSE program helps tremendously, where you can add XP, Infulence, Items and much more) personally i started the game, again decided to play kotor1 and kotor2 in order, and i chose to go Nar Shadaa>Dxun/Onderon>Dantooine>Korriban when you go those planets in that order you get your players the quickest (male) and going to narshadaa helps get atton to a jedi and for you need narshadaa as it triggers atton to speak to you more about his history, and that he is a force sensitive - hence giving you the option to train him as a dark jedi, cos im a DSM (darkside male) if you want me to list the characters which you can jedi-ify so that you can work on them, i will
  3. The KSE is the most simple program for your first question, and it doesnt screw up your game (unless you do something incredibly stupid with it, but you'll find out its capabilities once you download it, if you choose to)
  4. im jumping to the conclustion > cut content
  5. kotor1 interface was square-ish, kotor2 had round edges-erish! someone is ... narrow minded Your right... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> indeed, atton was funny, what i found funny was what he called darth sion "sleeps with vibroblades"
  6. what? because of her... pediphile stalkers? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> or perhaps her extremely low age, and young twilek appearances
  7. why do you have to post multiple times when it obviously goes under "technical support" and when your question has been answered in both topics
  8. its not hard, G-I-Z-K-A, GIZ-KA
  9. HK-47 instead of Arnold Schwarzenegger, HK: Mocking Statement: Asta la Vista, Meatbag
  10. there might be a possibility, with the KSE you can manipulate quests and see all the different outcomes, ill post down what is possible. EDIT: ok well i took the darkside path, and killed that old man guy who thought you where a jedi, and that dillan i force persuaded her but what the KSE says is interesting: 10) Jedi have an extremely bad reputation on Dantooine, even worse than it is in the rest of the galaxy. The secret Jedi Enclave on Dantooine provoked a brutal Sith occupation during the Jedi Civil War. If that reputation isn't redeemed, it could lead to problems down the road. 20) You've revealed yourself as a Jedi to the wrong person. This may complicate your efforts on Dantooine. 30) You've made some tangible progress towards restoring the Dantooine people's faith in the Jedi. 90) You've given great aid to the people of Dantooine. And Terena Adare won't let your heroism be forgotten. You've done much to restore good will on Dantooine towards the Jedi order. 91) You are largely responsible for the mercenaries taking over Khoonda and slaying Administrator Adare. Whatever Dantooine settlers survive the mercenary occupation of their planet will surely spread word of a Jedi's involvement in their downfall, further tarnishing the image people have of the Jedi order.
  11. Mandalore was cool, just goes up to any random mandalorian "YOU! join the army! er i mean go back to dxun!" by the way where are all the mandalorians (i know there is 1 group on dantooine, 1 group in the apartments in nar shadaa where are the rest?)
  12. well about around 700 ram (i dont know the exact number) 700 runs best on XP, and games usually want a minimum of 256, and recommend 512, so having 700 will be yoru advantege. at the moment NVidia are doing pretty well, they have good cheap gfx cards, but im more of an ATI person, when i get my next gfx card, im gona consider NVidia

i believe that i got a silver lightsaber from mandalore :D i completed all the stuff he wanted me to, and after the dialogue it says "Items Recieved: Lightsaber" then it ended up being a silver one
  14. That is correct. I love lightsaber battles, just like I do battles in space (ships fighting). Not only was the battle good but the music for it was perfect. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yeah i have to agree, the first time we observe and watch such a compelling duel with modern graphics, and amazing acrobatics instead of dodge-ass-ROTJ duels where luke skywalker was hitting darth vaders still lightsaber i believe the reason why people like RotS is because it completed the story for us, and it was the most modern film made out of all of them, so had teh advantage of better graphics and more, better explosions. lets face it the republic battle at the start was better then the one in ROTJ and TRM (only technology wise, not storywise)
  15. I thought that bacta did come from Thyferra, and i personally thought that kolto was better/more stronger healing agent

a civil war here is plausible, for these people are continually debating on who knows what, because its so big and reading the first line hurts your eyes
  17. i reckon bao-dur is one of the most capable jedi in your party, hes strong and good force moves, hes a dark jedi guardian for me i think and he is now reguarly in my party. i havent managed to turn the handmaiden though
  18. rammstein - ohne dich, amerika, bestrafe mich, rosenrot led zeppelin - when the levee breaks metallica - the unforgiven, master of puppets, bleeding me, hero of the day
  19. they arent taking bao away from me! they can have... hanharr or someone
  20. that point which you point out, the sand people farmers and jawas ect. aspect is true, it isnt that entertaining, or intriguing in any way, but i was refering to the fact that like you said, both skywalkers where raised there and it was basically the whole root of the events that occur after.
  21. most likely graphics cards, if your graphics card isnt good enough to run the game, then the game most likely crashes, it happens in a lot of similar situations and games
  22. how is tatooine a cliche' they just add it into everything its because it is a significant planet to the star wars series, and its basically the only whole desert planet (yes there are more, but we know tatooine the best)
  23. looks like your RAM thats for kotor2 and for kotor1: also something is wrong with your graphics try to get the latest drivers and updates for your gfx card. and if you can get more ram about 512 (which is what i run on) also XP runs best on about 712 ram (i think thats the ammount) but then thats if your running on XP, which i am EDIT: strange on the box (kotor1) it says... MEMORY: 128MB RAM for Windows 98 (256 for ME/2000/XP) the more ram the smoother your game runs
