  1. Not different that 6 Nature Godlikes Fighters/Paladins with Cleave/Mob Stance you could do now. I guess whole screen would explode faster then Hiroshima. Based on that everything should be nerfed to ground.
  2. Yeah, but I want others to use it, unless you really think Obsidian will balance it before POE VI will come out which I don't belive. So I am asking here what numer you would like to see to make TDT viable and balanced to pick and run. So far 10 dmg base get 20-26 dmg per tick on 19 level. What do you think about that? Imo compare to 70-80 per attack I get from Charge or 99-130 per offensive invocation at this level- it looks good. But I want to know different opinion about that. Because if we just want to wait for Obsidian to blance every single thing that needs buff/nerf in this game- prepare for POE3 release first.
  3. It's definitely worth it if you enjoy it. Check my Bleak Huntress build where I use stealth to delete enemies and Smoke Veil to trigger another assassination. This is with range weapons but you can easly change it to melee option (best dual wielding sabers or swords) for CQC assassination. I enjoy stealth in this game more than in PoE1
  4. Ok, So after my testing at 19 level it deals now around 20-26 dmg depends on enemy. Which is imo very good for constant offensive chant, but nowhere near what normal spells/melee can do at that level, but it makes difference. What is better is that you can double that dmg with Troubadour linger which is imo nice touch for offensive troubadour as it gives him unique offensive option. So far I am please with my tests and will probably soon post this mod on nexus. #MakeDragonTarshedGreatAgain.
  5. My Bleak Huntress build nukes everything form stealth, one-by-one. Though I only tested it for range weapons as it was intended as sniper build.
  6. So I modded chant The Dragon Tarshed since it's trash right now and we all know it- it went from god-like to total poop in PoE2. So I want to change that but not make it broken. I increased damage to 10 as base and at lvl 18 of War Caller it was dealing around 16-18 dmg per tick to enemies. Side Note: Funny thing that The Dragon Tarshed proc Cleave stance if it kills enemy. Which could lead to nice synergy for War Caller if this chant wasn't trash to begin with. So what do you guys think about this damage now? Enough or should be higher? Maybe 15 base so It can be useful for pure chanters? Let me know your opinion of how much damage you would like to see from The Dragon Tarshed in PoE2.
  7. Hi, Please Add my two builds to the list: 1. Holy Slayer: Bleak Huntress build: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/101274-class-build-bleak-huntress-holy-slayer-ranged-sniper-assassin-build/ Short description: highest damage sniper build for Arquebus and Arbalest usage, AOE dmg option, combining Paladin high defenses, Rogue Stealth and Bleak Walker high single target burst. 2.Votary: Burn Baby Burn https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/100826-class-build-burn-baby-burn-votary-paladinmonk-heretics-burning-flaming-build-not-easy-to-play/ Short description: flame/fire Paladin/Monk build for burning heretics. Super high burn single and AOE damage, unkillable.
  8. Check my Bleak Huntress build in my signature. It's best sniper build in game hands down when it comes to arquebus and arbalest usage.
  9. I am also Pale Elves fan . Shame there are no "dark elves" in PoE universe so far as I would like them even more . Build is nice and since it's a two-handed FoD/Assassin build you can always have Whisper of Endless Path as backup weapon or any other 2h just for roleplay stuff.
  10. If you really want to use blunderbus then yes- Swift Flurry is best and Full Attack abilities to it like FoD or PenStrike. If other firearms- there are better combos.
  11. Thing is even if it did better damage it would still not be worth as in PoE2 you have so much fast burst damage/dps from various sources (like Monks, Paladins, Wizards, Fighters) that your Dragon won't even worm up before enemies are Trashed to to the ground. Generally it's meh at best. I am thinking about buffing it with mod as I wanted to do full play with pure Troubadour. How about 5 base dmg maybe?
  12. You best bet is Fighter/Monk- Devoted/Helwalker or Paladin Bleak Walker/Helwalker for max dmg. Both give good bonuses and Swift Flurry + Hearbeat Drumming from monk proc per each pellet blunderbus shots. FoD + Sworn enemy gives huge single target burst for range characters and accuracy bonus. Devoted will give more Pen and Pen Strike. Both are good choices but for range weapons (and blunderbuss) I would personally take Bleak Walker/Helwalker for max burst dmg.
  13. I am curious- Arcana for what excactly? With high athetics you can at least for example use unique shield you get from Old City that scales +Deflection with Athletics. Arcana is good for for example Spearcaster a unique Arbalest.
  14. If you will have team behind and especially a healer Fighter is more fun mid-end game with charge, while Herland is more single target burst and secondary healer. In team scenario both will be great main or offtanks. Atheltics on 5 is always nice and I honestly don't see any other useful skill for them.
  15. I settled for peacful solution, then I murdered both families.... But hey, I am bleak walker :D
  16. I play with Scalling but only with "Scaling Up Only" and I also lost red skulls and skulls in general.... :/
  17. Well, each to his own I guess. I enjoy one-shot/burst single target builds. For example in Borderlands 2 I was running exclusively melee Zero and with Love Thrumper shield I was one-shotting from stealth every enemy, chaining that for kill after kill. Beat game 3 times like that :D. Each to his own. You can also stand in their faces and tank as Fighter and Cleave them- sounds as boring to me. In general PoE2 combat is boring. Too many interesting things like Ciphers, Rangers or Shapeshifter druid feel weak and under powered and too many classes do the the same- melee and procing effects on enemies (Barbarian, Monk, Fighter). Sould Blade for example- you replace spamming FoD, Pen Strike, Barb Blow etc. for spamming Soul Anihilation that has slightly different visual effect. Sounds so much different in gameplay..... Still my fav one is Chanter as at least there are many different things I can do in combat :D.
  18. Companions are useless and weak in general, also in team play. The bring nothing apart from free Flanked on enemy, which Cipher can do with Level II spell for whole screen... And on PotD pet won't tank much unless you have some priest or paladin baby sitting it. And rnemy AI resetting due to invisibility is not an exploit, it's how the game mechanic works. Blame Obsidian for it. As for reload, i would just have to use hit-n-run tactic with smoke veil and wouldn't have any problem with solo run. Not to mention Spearcaster with Skerwer. If you want I can do rerun of this area for you without reload trick- it will be longer but I will have no problem soloing it. It's how the game works because the game was explicitly not designed based on solo play. Using a loophole that is clearly overperforming in a scenario the developers did not design around, then trying to compare it to something that doesn't overperform in that specific scenario, is a bad basis for comparison. It's still not exploit. Game can be played solo - check. AI resetting on stealth as game design - check. Creating full party with Smoke Veil to do it with whole party- check. Overperforming because of bad developers design - check. It's game mechanic and it works how it works. In game there are always mechanics that works better/overperform vs others. There is a difference between exploit (like infinite empower on Drakes or reload cancel) and simply bad design (AI resetting on stealth, enemies scalling bad, weapon effect procing on things like Carnage or R.Pain). It's a video game after all. There is always over and under performing mechanics.
  19. No problem. You have Lay on Hands, FoD, SS and crazy helwalker dmg. Also if you don't plan to use Sacred Immolation at end-game just choose Kind Wayfarer and then you are totally fine and self sustained as FoD heals you like crazy. Generally Monk+Paladin is strong mutliclass.
  20. Damn, not this bug again. There was similar one in PoE1 and now it's even worse. Sorry, but game style that relies on a bug isn't something that I might enjoy. Actually, knowing about such bug might spoil the game for some people. You know that you shouldn't use it, but it's something that always available - just click enemy after attack and avoid extra reload times... And suddenly game change from picking right tactic, combining skills and such into 'time your clicks right and you're golden'. Yeah i agree with you, but please let's don't talk about it here or there will be a bunch of guys jump out saying hey u can choose not to use it if you think it is broken Well, I never said "it's not a bug, it's a feature". Whenever you use it or not is up to you till they patch it. Simple as that, nobody force anyone to anything in this game. And well, you are correct- you can choose, or someone stack behind you with knife in your house saying "use reload bug or die? Besides wasn't it you who posted build about Dragon Tarshed triggering Sungraze AOE attacks? It's also a bug and should not happen, yet that didn't stop you from posting it and letting everyone know that they can run it Same is here. He only posted his observations, though; not a fully fledged out build. What's the difference? We both presented some unintended mechanics that work. Or do you think people seeing his post would absolutely never got idea "hey, I can do the same in my game"? Please. No one force anyone to run anything and that should not stop people from sharing their mechanic observations, be it simple post "XY works" or "This is my new build where XY works". Let people define their own fun of what they want to run and use in their single player RPG. Also by highlighting that we let Obsidian now where problems are. Same story, different cover. Nobody said the reload is a bug, as Boeroer said, you get -85% recovery from steath and that is intented. And I never said your build is boring or cheesy, I comment on that shot from stealth and then reenter stealth before combat start. It is just the same as firewall out of sight. if you agree that the mechanics in my post is cheesy or unintended, that's part of my motivation of the post, to let Obs aware of these broken things. It is just annoying that whenever someone comment something is cheesy, then another one will disagree and said 'u can choose to not use it'. Well of course I don't use these cheesy thing in my playthrough, and I cannot even comment on them being cheesy? We just have to accept fact that what is chessy for one is not for the other one . There is no point in arguing about that. People have different opinion and perspective. And I didn't even use tactic of reenter stealth before combat starts, I use smoke veil as active in combat ability and try not to reset fights totally. Generally stealth mechanic in PoE lacks.... Anyway, this is off-topic. If anyone want to use this build without reload trick- it's still work great but you have to reset fights with Smoke Veil and re-enter combat from stealth again which is imo not as fun from roleplay perspective. Using Warbows is also a possibility though they lack Alpha Dmg.

  22. I tried to run the same area (Fort Deadlight) as in my Bleak Huntress build video with Lvl 8 Stalker/Shieldbearer. Even with Paladin +1 Armor Aura, +1 Armor from Stalker, Lay on Hands with 10 sec immortality It was a chore to keep pet alive and not waste a lot of my "time" and trying to keep it from dying as opposed to shooting enemies. The best part was in when fighting with Ben in Deadlight - I had to load game twice because I was unable to cast Lay On Hands fast enough to prevent my pet from being insta-deleted by room of enemies. On third time I manged to keep my Bear alive there for whole fight by using Lay On Hands but he was constantly on 0 HP pretty much and I had to waste all my Zeal on him, slowing me down, wasting my resources and generally making it more like "keep your virtual pet alive simulator". So yeah, if we talk from solo perspective or wanting your pet to be frontliner- they are absolutely useless. Companion needs a lot of buffs. They should also get -10% recovery and +1 armor per your Power Level and huge increase in dmg and healthpool as right now they are just paper figurines.
