I'm playing elf too, but unfortunately there isn't any elf portrait that looks like the faces you can choose for your character. As for elfes there are just 3 different faces, I thought at least these three different looking elfes will have a matching portrait. But not a big problem for me at all - I just chose the portrait where the hood covers nearly the whole face. I'm fine with that one.

delta means just the difference. A delta patch is created by comparing the existing files with the new ones. That way there can be very efficient patches which will just replace/change the bits that are necessary,

Yes, it is. As I said - it's just a delta patch. But I wouldn't recommend to install unless the hotfix isn't released.

Just wanted to let you know... Not sure yet if it already includes the hotfix. Edit: It's just the first update! (1.0.3.0524) So better wait for the hotfix. Hope they will release it also today. Nice that they are working today.

Da Gestandende dann wohl einfach nur eine Fantasie-Bezeichnung für dieses Volk* ist, hätte man das lieber im Deutschen auch bei Kith gelassen. Aber klar, war ja eine offizielle Entscheidung im Auftrag von Obsidian und von daher zu respektieren. Ich kenne Kith einfach nur aus anderen Fantasybereichen als Menschenartig/Artverwandt -> Humanoide, und fand deshalb die Bezeichnung Gestandene etwas verwirrend, als ich dies hier las. * Oder sonst was. - Ich warte noch auf den GoG Patch bevor ich weiter spiele, bin bisher noch auf keinen Gestandenen gestoßen und von daher eigentlich sowieso nicht qualifiziert um hier mitzureden.

Da ich hier nur ab und zu reinschnupper um meinen Senf dazuzugeben, beanspruche ich natürlich kein richtiges Mitspracherecht. Dennoch hier nochmal zwei Spritzer dieser leckeren gelben Masse: Anführungszeichen beginnen im Deutschen nun mal unten. (Ich empfinde es aber auch als keine sehr wichtige Änderung. Dennoch ist sie auf keinen Fall falsch!) Meiner Meinung nach ist das passendste Wort für kith innerhalb des gegebenen Kontexts einfach Humanoiden. Ich weiß immer noch nicht, wie der Übersetzer auf die Idee kam dort Gestandene zu übersetzen.

Didn't read the whole thread because I don't want to spoiler too much for me. BUT the two tweets from the initial post are just damn stupid.... "Were killing children now?" - Don't they get it's just a game? I would even eat a whole bowl of my grandpa's poo within a videogame if it would give some XP. But in reallife? C'mon I'm able to separate such things!

The combat system is great. Nothing more to say.

We are currently working on a standalone patcher and hope to have it complete in the next couple of weeks. These are very great news! Thanks for that. But may it is possible to make an exception for the current update and deliver the changed game files also within the community? As the GoG version is DRM free, maybe it's sufficient to just overwrite a few files within the install dir without the need of a patching tool? That would be awsome. It would be a nice easter present for those who planned to play PoE during their holidays. (including me )

Many thanks to the whole team for the great work on this great title! Can hardly wait to get my fingers on the update. So, there isn't any other way for GOG players to get the patch earlier than via GOG itself? (Of course we can't demand this.) +1 für Humanoid. Ich persönlich finde dies im Allgemeinen einfach verständlicher und bei einer Übersetzung ist der Kontext mindestens ebenso wichtig wie die 1:1 Übersetzung vom Original.
