Replace the texture's of the HUD, update font quality, improve the fog and this isn't a texture but I would like to add a scroll feature (which I have no clue how I'm going to do this). That resolution mod mentioned below is about all you'll be able to make do with the game. Any other "beauty or update enhancements" will either require a lot of work or some you can't do since its hard coded into the game.

There is nothing wrong with VATS. Don't like it, don't use it. Simple. Unbalanced or overpowered items, skills or whatever? Don't use them. A lot of us power gamers enjoy such things. Need to focus on more important things like smart AI, better leveling, tag along characters, a main story that really matters, dialog options/choices.

Of course they will prevail. They have had a number of winning games since the BIS days.

I don't mind the slow motion. It may get tiring after awhile, in that case go back to right mouse clicking sight them in with your weapon. Which I do most of the time. I use VATS as a last resort like if I am getting ganged up on or if I get caught of guard.

VATS is flawless, leave it as is.

I'll never forgive WotC for destroying the Forgotten Realms setting with 4E. I won't buy any 4E game even a BG3.

blinding opponents was one of my favorite past-times all the way through tactics. If they brought it back an eye shot should outright kill them or make them blind so when they try and shot at you they'll fail. But to keep it balance an eye shot should have a very low percentage of success.

Diablo 2 now in Hell mode. Played around with the stats of some of the items, a little overkill but at least I'm not dying constantly.

That and the eye shots they need to put back in. I don't know why they took them out.

True on that. Steroids don't do anything about hitting the ball, that is hand- eye coordination skill. You have to be able to hit the ball before you can knock it out of the ballpark. You really don't need to be that strong to hit the ball, its just a matter of chance of the ball hitting the right spot on the ball at the right moment of the upward swing of the bat.

Diablo 2 in Nightmare mode. I advanced up a few levels quickly just playing in the first act alone. Onto the the deserts of Lut Gholein.
