  1. I don't care for the rules and I hate what 4E did to the Forgotten Realms settings. No 4E 4 me.
  2. I hope not. We don't need any 4E games.
  3. Dropped playing Diablo 2. I'm in the expansion part it bores me. That is to hack n slash for me. Started Fallout 2 where I left off a few months ago.
  4. Like that one guy in Fallout 2. If you had a low INT you could talk to him like you both were educated at an uppity university.
  5. I miss the comments that the old games had when you scored a critical like Raider was hit for 200 hit points in the groin, knocking the living **** right out of him. Or something like that. The originals had better taunts as well. Fallout 3 was lack luster in that.
  6. BG1 with my new mod. Vampire Bloodlines. Diablo 2. Fallout 3. I don't which one to stick with.
  7. Obsidian has had a history (also when they were involved with Black Isle Studios) of hiring great voice actors for the most part. NWN2 came up short in that but Kotor2 had some good well known voice actors. They don't need to be big name movie stars.
  8. Spam removed. Hey how about that VATS, its just wonderful. Obsidian needs to make sure they have some great music from the 40's and 50's like F3 did. How about voice actors?
  9. I'm not against VATS, I'm enjoying it --- I still feel it could have been done better though. As it is now, it just seems like a glorified bullet time combat system - similar to the one found in Max Payne (the game, not the movie) They should have included targeted shots to the eyes and groin like the originals, with a small percent to hit considering how small they are. Eye shots would be instant kills naturally so the percentage of hitting would have to be very low. I will admit VATS is over the top at times. A head shot with a BB gun isn't going to make the head and limbs blow off on a critical.
  10. whaaaat....???? never! Just a repeat of the rules, which I am sure everyone has read when they signed up here.
  11. I don't know what all of this anti-VATS is all about. Its nothing different compared to the other first three games targeted shot in turn base. VATS makes Fallout 3 good.
  12. All of this talk about Fallout 2 is making me want to play another game. That restoration mod is pretty good after all.
  13. The original Dogmeat must have got around.
  14. I'm sure we are not bashing any companies, especially those who are or may be associated with Obsidian's business past, present and future.
  15. This should be in bolded in point 72 font at the top of every page in the design docs One thing I preferred about Fallout 1/3 is that they didn't go too crazy with the jokes/pop culture references. Jokes and pop culture was one of the things that made Fallout 2 great.
  16. Still playing BG1, testing a mod.
  17. Good. All is right in the world now.
  18. I thought I saw some where in this thread about no sorceress but they have male wizard or some such. No. I want that hot sorceress to play as a character.
  19. Back to music, they should include this , the best one in Fallout 3.
  20. Producer and Director.
  21. That is what I did. Why get your hands dirty when someone else can be persuaded to do it for you?
  22. Both of my computers use ATI cards (3870's one of them uses Crossfire) and I never experienced anything like this. Try turning down some of the game's graphic settings?
  23. It ain't Vegas without Ol' Blue Eyes.
  24. Give us some swing music baby.
