That is the one at , right? From you description I think you're missing the one in @CrashGirl Weapons degrade faster when you use VATS, in case you didn't know. The repair system sorta evens out in the later levels of the game i.e. 15+. Unless you use a sniper rifle in VATS, which you shouldn't There is a mod that allows you to use similar weapons to repair each other and also one that allows you to use scrap metal. Duh I forgot that one. Yeah I got all of them.

See that is a big flaw on the developers part. If you are going to skip the events that lead to B then have your characters not speak like you did the events any way. All you have to do is set conditions in the dialog and if they are not met, then they would say a different dialog.

I don't do any of Three Dogs requests. I usually have high Charisma were I can get around that. The problem with this game was said above. You can go around potential important parts of the main quest and still do it. You can avoid going to see Three Dog and Rivet city and just head out to Vault 112. That is sloppiness on a game designers part IMO. That shouldn't happen.
