I can't think of anyone here who gets huffy at the slightest criticism of their country. In the UK, we have taught children very little British history and virtually nothing about the British Empire. Various governments have indicated that they wished more British history were taught so children would feel proud to be British, but they're worried that left-wing teachers will dwell too much on the attrocities of the Empire, so the compromise position is to ignore British history and teach about Nazi Germany instead. The German ambassador even complained about this, I think. But it's morally safe for us - we're not the baddies, in that story at least. Most Japanese schoolchildren do learn about the Rape of Nanking, despite its absence in the official textbooks. In so doing, they learn to be sceptical of official textbooks, which I think is a history lesson well spent. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well that doesn't sound right. The English people have a vast interesting history that their people should be taught. A lot of the history books I read deal with England since most of my family originated from there. .

I didn't like Disciple because he was a pompous know it all. Seems like the ladies get shafted when it comes to romances. Disciple in Kotor 2, Carth in Kotor 1, Anomen in BG2.

Some languages I like are Gaelic (Irish, Scotish), German, Spanish, Romanian, Latin and French.

It grates my nerves. The best sound American accent is Southern, in the states of Tennessee, Georgia, the Carolinas. Rural Southern is hard to understand, they either speak it too fast or they slur their words together.

It must be an X-box. I never had any problems killing the rodian at the door and buzzing myself in after talking to Luxa. I didn't know the console was destructable. Plus you mentioned rodians, as more than one there at once? I always get one rodian, you kill him come back later and another appears.

The Semitic languages (hebrew, arab etc.) for their horrible guttural sounds Southeast asian languages(vietnamese, indonesian) It's high pitched and it sounds like they are talking fast. Japanese sounds alright as well as Chinese. Accents I can't stand is whay you hear near the New York New Jersey area. It sounds like they are talking with their nose plugged up. "Hi I'm from Neew Jewsiee"

Ironically, most people who were captured for slavery were captured by enemy tribes and then sold to the slave traders.
