"Backstabbing" Ukraine is a huge overstatement considering the record low voting turn out on that referendum. What was it, 10 guys with an anti-EU obsession showed up and used it as an excuse to show how much they dislike the EU and not whether or not they care about Ukraine at all, and then the rest of the country didn't even care enough about Ukraine at all to even show up. I didn't give a ****, I didn't vote on it. Most people I know weren't even aware that there was a referendum at all, let alone what it was about. Ukraine can come in or piss off, it's all the same to me. The referendum was a joke of epic proportions, a publicity stunt from far-right parties and media and it shouldn't be taken as actually mattering at all in any way, shape or form.

Yeah but there's more factors at play than just the pose. Clothing, style, demeanor, intent, perception. If you look at this picture, I'm sure you'll notice that they have the same pose yet the characterization and perception is going to be very different. I'm not trying to say that one pose is wrong or right. I'm saying that some may or may not be more appropriate for a certain character, a certain audience, a certain genre. It's not an absolute - "this pose is bad!" I do think lots of SJWs go totally overboard and see sexism in everything, but jeeze it doesn't always have to be a bid for censorship to take **** away from other people. Sometimes people can just agree or disagree, have logical arguments or even emotional arguments.

Yes it is a sexy pose. Which is what I'm saying. The sexiness of the pose was never the problem. They weren't trying to censor sexiness, like they said all along.

I didn't say it was less or more sexy, I didn't make that value judgement at all. I said it's fine for Tracer to be sexy, as long as it fits her character, which is what Blizzard said. But the framing and pose on the other pose made her look somewhat like she was presenting herself, which is more of a femme fatale character trait such as Widowmaker would have. This pose is much more active, mid-motion, playful. And yes, sexualisation occurs in the mind but there's also ways to increase that as a designer or animator and it's silly to say that different poses can not have different meanings when done by a man or woman. All I'm saying is that this controversy was ****ing stupid from the get-go and nobody is saying stuff can't be sexy. Even the original "complaint", made out to be some crazy SJW, was pretty much fine with Widowmaker showing herself off.

Installing some mods (SCS and tweaks) broke tons of strings and now items have random and nonsensical names and descriptions. Hasn't affected dialogues, so... That happened with me when I installed tweaks on BG:EE.

Yes, they really need to fix the proportions of Tracer to look more human. She totally does not fit in with these incredibly realistic characters. For reals though, screw realism in video games. It has never and will never have a place in made up systems and styles.

We weren’t entirely happy with the original pose, it was always one that we wrestled with creatively " This is a none issue...it amazes why you aren't supporting this decision and being logical Ehh, that seems like a dodge. Surprised anyone cares either way in any case. I do worry for the guy that complained - his daughter will grow up with the Overwatch models...really. I don't really see the point of that dodge in a game where Widowmaker's ass is still on display full stop. No one complained about that yet, no? Lots of people complained about it back when they announced the game. There were Kotaku articles about it if I recall correctly. Certainly a bigger deal than the single complaint here - and that complaint wasn't even about how you can't have sexualized characters in video games, it was about how not every character needs to be sexualized. Seems like a pretty reasonable gripe to me.

Yeah, English isn't hard to learn (the most annoying thing is how most of it seems to be exceptions to its own rules) but you just don't get exposed to every word or different meanings of every word. And jargon and conflicting translations can be a problem.
