    Ain't that the truth. I probably wouldn't have noticed either if I hadn't been following it's production, I only would have noticed how awful everything in it was.

    It rarely bothers me with anime adaptations because everyone in anime looks western. I know they're not supposed to be western, but they look it. Goku doesn't look Japanese. Now when the Avatar movie made all the ambiguously dark skinned good guys white and the ambiguously light skinned bad guys dark colored, that bothered me.

    It's pretty widely accepted industry wisdom that a theatrical feature needs to gross double the budget to break even. It's not exactly accurate but close enough.

    After all this reject of EU-Ukraine partnership by Europeans (who just too lazy for move own arse to referendum ) outraged many Ukrinians. Tough ****. I care even less now that you think it's a big deal. See, you're a factor that works again those hardworking Ukrainians. In fact, just the fact that you say it makes more people disagree with everything you say. So I think we can all agree it would be better if you stopped talking altogether, for the sake of the things you believe in.

    "Backstabbing" Ukraine is a huge overstatement considering the record low voting turn out on that referendum. What was it, 10 guys with an anti-EU obsession showed up and used it as an excuse to show how much they dislike the EU and not whether or not they care about Ukraine at all, and then the rest of the country didn't even care enough about Ukraine at all to even show up. I didn't give a ****, I didn't vote on it. Most people I know weren't even aware that there was a referendum at all, let alone what it was about. Ukraine can come in or piss off, it's all the same to me. The referendum was a joke of epic proportions, a publicity stunt from far-right parties and media and it shouldn't be taken as actually mattering at all in any way, shape or form.

    Yeah, I hear ya. My self-value was always conditional on what others thought and that almost ruined my life. That's why I'm trying to hammer down that it's not conditional.

    Yeah but there's more factors at play than just the pose. Clothing, style, demeanor, intent, perception. If you look at this picture, I'm sure you'll notice that they have the same pose yet the characterization and perception is going to be very different. I'm not trying to say that one pose is wrong or right. I'm saying that some may or may not be more appropriate for a certain character, a certain audience, a certain genre. It's not an absolute - "this pose is bad!" I do think lots of SJWs go totally overboard and see sexism in everything, but jeeze it doesn't always have to be a bid for censorship to take **** away from other people. Sometimes people can just agree or disagree, have logical arguments or even emotional arguments.

    Ugh, I give up. People have become far too sensitive and project SJWs into everything. I thought it was the feminists who were supposed to be making everything into gender politics? This is censorship, that is SJWs, bla bla bla. I can't stand hardcore SJWs anymore than you guys can but I'm sick of the game community being a giant example of horseshoe theory in action.

    Yes it is a sexy pose. Which is what I'm saying. The sexiness of the pose was never the problem. They weren't trying to censor sexiness, like they said all along.

    I didn't say it was less or more sexy, I didn't make that value judgement at all. I said it's fine for Tracer to be sexy, as long as it fits her character, which is what Blizzard said. But the framing and pose on the other pose made her look somewhat like she was presenting herself, which is more of a femme fatale character trait such as Widowmaker would have. This pose is much more active, mid-motion, playful. And yes, sexualisation occurs in the mind but there's also ways to increase that as a designer or animator and it's silly to say that different poses can not have different meanings when done by a man or woman. All I'm saying is that this controversy was ****ing stupid from the get-go and nobody is saying stuff can't be sexy. Even the original "complaint", made out to be some crazy SJW, was pretty much fine with Widowmaker showing herself off.

    How is this a troll? This fits her character much better. They didn't say Tracer can't be sexy, just that it isn't the main focus of her character.

    Yep, content needs updating to mesh with "modern day gamers" and "sexism" has to be fought everywhere. Because **** internal logic, down with the patriarchy, privilege something something. They had a thread over at BD discussing this too. Barely made it to page 2 before it was shot down and offenders were dealt with. You know things are ugly when you're told to go to the KKKodex if you resent someone else's political agenda being shoved down your throat. And now I'm probably treading on thin ice myself because badmouthing other companies is a big no-no here at Obsidz'... So in other news, I'm playing through this. Installing some mods (SCS and tweaks) broke tons of strings and now items have random and nonsensical names and descriptions. Hasn't affected dialogues, so... That happened with me when I installed tweaks on BG:EE.
