American Gods. Weren't they going to change stuff? First episode is practically the book verbatim, makes me wonder why I bothered watching. Certainly not for the Zack Snyder slo-fast-mo blood spatter nonsense. Skip if you've already read it, it adds nothing of value.

Well, thanks. I assume you're reading Democrat's propaganda. It's illegal in US not to treat someone with a life-threatening condition btw. True but people may be less willing to seek treatment and preventative care since they can't afford it and when something catastrophic happens they will get treated but will also get a bill that could very well bankrupt them If they survive said catastrophic thing in the first place.

What's threatening about me considering Trump voters murderers? It's not even an insult. Just a value judgement.
-
Not one single bit. I am understating it. Rape is a pre-existing condition? Anyone who voted that through should 'develop' that condition. Inhuman garbage.

Holy ****, reading about the new health bill. Republicans are going full cartoon villain. Trump needs to show his birth certificate to prove he's ****ing human. Anyone here who voted for Trump, I hold you personally responsible for EVERY death that occurs as result of this. You are straight up murderers.

My fav poem remains Antigonish by William Hughes Mearns As I was going up the stair I met a man who wasn't there! He wasn't there again today, Oh how I wish he'd go away! When I came home last night at three, The man was waiting there for me But when I looked around the hall, I couldn't see him there at all! Go away, go away, don't you come back any more! Go away, go away, and please don't slam the door... Last night I saw upon the stair, A little man who wasn't there, He wasn't there again today Oh, how I wish he'd go away...

Not just you. Local theater has massive Justice League poster already, but no WW posters on the premises.

- The last of which was more than 10 years ago and he hasn't produced anything that wasn't horrific since. They were also all "based on true story biopic" type deals. Nothing he has ever made that was purely fiction, as the Dark Tower is, has ever been good. Even his Fringe episodes are regarded as the worst of the series. - Fun fact, those films you listed are directed 50/50 Joel Schumacher and Ron Howard. He's done more bad films than good with both directors (Batman Forever, Batman & Robin and the Da Vinci films respectively). If that was all he did, AND if he was working with either of those two directors who are the only people who've ever made something out of his awful writing, there'd still be odds of over 50% that Dark Tower is going to be awful. But he's not working with either of them, and without them his track record slows to zero. - In addition to the films I mentioned, one of which is widely regarded as one of the worst films of all time and single-handidly would balance out against every movie you've mentioned (the only one of which I actually thought was okay was A Beautiful Mind), he also did uncredited rewrites on Charlie's Angels, The Rundown, The 5th Wave, and Jonah Hex. - Then Dark Tower has the downside of him also serving as Producer, which served him well on Deep Blue Sea, the Keanu Reeves version of Constantine, the Ben Stiller version of Starsky & Hutch and the Paranormal Activity sequels (not even the original). The man is, overall, poison to good cinema and there's a reason that when he gets his hands on a franchise, fans of said franchise generally let out a collective groan. Even the people who watch those godawful Transformers movies got a chill when they announced Mr Goldsman was going to write the next few films. That is how bad he is. I've never read the dark tower, so I don't care much if it's good or not, but Akiva Goldsman getting involved is pretty much a death's kiss for that (or any) project. (YES SNARKY RESPONDERS AKIVA GOLDSMAN KILLED MY PARENTS AND I'M HIS NEMESIS, DONT JUDGE ME)

I think it'd be wise to keep the expectations low on The Dark Tower. It was, after all, scripted by the same person who scripted The Da Vinci Code, I Am Legend, Lost In Space and Batman & Robin.

My ancestors were serfs. Don't blame me for where and how I'm born. I'm not giving anyone anything.

It's not funny to you that your opinion gets altered by those of other people? Did you just chime in with "this is hilarious to me" so that you could try to come off as above it all? Is that a greater or lesser failure of character than occasionally succumbing to annoyance? Please tell me because I really do care about what you think. Hey, I HAVE to read the boards. You can choose what to ignore and still can't deal with it. To answer your question, it's hilarious how much your failure is greater than mine.

Ugh, the Hand again? Since nothing dealing with the Hand in these shows has been anything but the worst I might as well skip it. -
Doctor Strange had no boss battle. It completely avoided that.

Guardians 2. Workmanlike sequel - more of all the same elements, just not quite as fresh. Enjoyed it, wasn't blown away.

Lewis Carrol, is that you?

Get out.

TvTropes used to be good, now it's prettybad. I'm saddened by their continual stricter rules on anything interesting, while at the same time their complete loss of control over fiction speculation. Like, you can't refer to something being 'dark' without some flippant jerkwad nazi editor you out because 'dark' is subjective to your screen setting or something and you should keep it in the 'your mileage may vary' opinionated section. More informal than the other wiki my hairy butthole. But then at the same time, their most interesting section is completely overrun by idiocy. WildMassGuessing used to be a place where you could find interesting theories on current shows. Now all you find is 'Walter White is a Time Lord' or 'Slender Man createdthe Marvel Universe'. The **** went wrong, TvTropes?

Finally. Jedi and Sith were always dumb philosophies. Grey ftw.
