  1. Nobody's going to attack there. If WW2 taught us anything, it's that you get your butt kicked if you bully the handicapped kid on the block.
  2. You didn't say any country, you said anyone.
  3. Same point for me, pretty much. Online people who didn't like the film were often told they were sexist and hated women - I just thought it was a bad movie after seeing it.
  4. I hated it even though I liked the idea of an all-women ghostbusters.
  5. Pirates was okay. Felt like a familiar retread rather than anything new. Enjoyable diversion. Would say it's closer to the first than the sequels, though Jack is outstaying his welcome far now.
  6. Thanks, but you don't have to defend me Namu. I don't care what he thinks.
  7. I get the controversy. This game is nowhere near accurate to the sticks in Montana. For a more accurate portrayal, try Outlast 2.
  8. I was about to object with 'she's his cousin' but then, he was raised on a farm...
  9. What symbol do we use to mark them before deportation? Star of David's been done. I'm sure the camps they'll stay in before being deported will have effective showering facilities.
  10. Sucks that he has that, but great that he can get help.
  11. Confirmation bias. You remember hearing about artists who are crazy, no one goes 'oh that Rembrandt fellow was totally normal'. I much preferred that to how I felt before them, and honestly most of the time that goes away with time. For me anyway, these drugs affect everyone differently.
  12. Yes, the old fashioned way was just perfect. Getting my literal ass kicked when the teacher said I had trouble paying attention in school totally did something to fix that problem. It didn't leave me a crippled, suicidal adult that needs several types of medication and major therapy just to survive, let alone function. Not at all. It did for me, thankfully I had a great dad that was firm with the belt but brutally and honest in his wisdom. "It's up to you to figure out how to be happy while following the rules of life, you got a problem then figure out how to fix it or learn how to cope while not acting the fool." He never tolerated the "playing the victim". You can either accept and let something hinder you or you can live life and fight for your happiness/calm for the rest of your life. Because of ass whippings and tough love, he's been more help than medication and therapists for me. Have you been diagnosed with a mental illness?

  14. Prohibitively expensive health insurance seems more like a stick to me.
  15. Or maybe we can leave the insults at the door if we want this thread to stay open.
  16. Took me way too long to get that one.
  17. Indeed. He's calling you a child.
  18. Clearly Nye's show wasn't watched all that much anyway, because how else do you explain the amount of flat-earthers these days?
  19. I read someone saying that live action Seth McFarlane was a forced meme. That about summed him up to me.
  20. Trump is certainly doing that, then.
  21. Netflix making a Dark Crystal Netflix series. O.o
  22. I misread "winging it" as "whining" and that made much more sense.
  23. http://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-us-canada-39950424 Donald Trump says: "No politician in history… has been treated worse or more unfairly" Well, maybe someone could treat you like Lincoln or JFK. Would you be happier?
  24. Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audioslave passed.
  25. That joke was in Scrubs too. Apparently it happens quite a bit.
