  1. If I can't see the glass there's no way for me to verify anything, therefore I do not possess the neccesary information to answer this question. If there is indeed no glass, however, I couldn't verify anything anyway, because you cannot prove a nonexistance. Because of this, until other information is provided, I shall think the most likely to be correct answer is: there is no glass. However, I do see a mug right in front of me which is a little less than half full.
  2. Just because of that, I shall recite the lyrics to Eels "Elizabeth on the Bathroom Floor" where E recounts the last hours of his sister's suicide. Laying on the bathroom floor Kitty licks my cheek once more And I could try But waking up is harder when you want to die Walter's on the telephone Tell him I am not at home 'Cause I think that I am going To a place where I am always high My name's Elizabeth My life is **** and piss
  3. To me, Christmas is a winter celebration that was altered slightly for some due to a culture-shift. The whole religious thing doesn't bother me. I have no problem believing Jesus Christ was born around that time anyway (anything else to do with him though? Fairy tales.)
  4. I don't think there are many songs about game development, Shape.
  5. Sometimes, I'm walking through water and I give my minions an order to get something on land. However, they attempt to take the same route I did and try to walk through the water. This generally results in a large part of my horde drowning.
  6. Dude, Gandalf doesn't count, he's basically the LotR version of an angel.
  7. I suppose that is true, as evidenced by pages such as this recent one: http://drmcninja.com/page.php?pageNum=32&issue=8 The uncola! Not the undead!
  8. You mean like how in the movie "Spider-man" Aunt May says "you're not superman, you know!"? I was thinking this myself when I was wondering if the webcomic Dr. McNinja may become an industry comic. He frequently mentions that he was trained by Batman. But then I realized that he actually uses the character Ronald McDonald so...
  9. On one hand, I want to make some lame comment about how my aquarium is ready. On the other hand, we did just have a spam warning...
  10. Eels - Vice President Fruitley
  11. I think why most people hate the movie Venom is becayse they changed his role significantly. One thing the Spider-man series had been mostly faithful about was the characters roles. Doc Ock was changed completely, but he was still a mad scientist. Spider-man's role is that of the hero. Despite changes, there was astill a sense of familiarity to the character. However, I don't see where Sam Raimi gets off complaining about Venom's "lack of humanity" as a character when he takes all the humanity out by making this anti-hero into a full villain. Venom is this popular because he's a conflicted monster who struggles with his nature as well as his human desires and compassion. But in the movie? "I like being bad. It makes me feel good."
  12. Okay, I agree completely with the fact that Gwen Stacy was just used wrongly. However, I don't agree with this comment. If I want the exact same experience as the original, I'll just read the comics again. I have no intention of shilling out 8 bucks for a newly released movie I've already seen. Okay, nowhere in the post am I asking for a verbatim copy. It's about not having much in the way of recognizable traits. [spoilersandstuff] I was talking about Gwen Stacy mostly. Personally, I think Venom doesn't fall under this, because he was never really in Sam Raimi's vision. Marvel strongarmed him into this movie. Also, while the comic book Venom was popular, the definitive pop-culture version of Venom that is responsible for most of his popularity has to be the animated series. And in that, he came from... the moon. In a rock. Yeah. It really just depends on what you view as the source material.
  13. E - Ooh Child (Still on an Eels kick; this is Eels main songwriter when still solo) Ooh child, things are gonna get easier. Ooh, things'll get brighter.
  14. Okay, I agree completely with the fact that Gwen Stacy was just used wrongly. However, I don't agree with this comment. If I want the exact same experience as the original, I'll just read the comics again. I have no intention of shilling out 8 bucks for a newly released movie I've already seen. I fully support directors to make their own version. A wrongly used character is a wrongly used character, even if a previous version of the character exists. I've seen plenty of re-imagined characters that are better than their originals.
  15. I thought Wild Mages were unique to Baldur's Gate II. I played one of those, and it would generally have the wacky effect of instant death of the caster. Either that, or it would summon a horde of squirrels.
  16. I've done this one. Mostly because we attacked the pirates. I agree with this one. Why is True Neutral equivelent to Jedi? When I play a True Neutral character, he or she quite often gets angry or upset when the balance hangs in the balance (sorry).
  17. Eels - I Like Birds I've been on a huge Eels kick ever since I heard their new song, Royal Pain. In fact, my mp3player has the entire eels discography on it, but nothing else.
  18. This is no worse than the woman who gave up her "anal virginity" to get an x-box for her kid.
  19. I got 757k. Not bad, considering english isn't my first language, I can't type blind and I can only type with six fingers.
  20. This short rhyme is dedicated to my father's sneezing. I like to sneeze It's so much fun It feels like a breeze And sounds like a gun
  21. Oh wow. I've seen some dumb posters, but that one beats them all. Hell, he or she is almost as dumb as I am.
  22. As if Transformers fans aren't deluding themselves that anything good based on their beloved franchise will ever air again. We all figured that out a decade ago.
