A common misconception is that those are bots. Those are actually little chinese boys in Microsoft's cellar.
-
It was a theory among me and a few friends of mine that girls who liked Orlando Bloom were closet lesbians. Seriously, he looks more like a girl than most girls do.
-
Are you a bot? Well, at least they do their research now. This is about an RPG, and this board has something to do with RPGs. The last time I came across a bot on a gaming forum it tried to sell me ground coffee.

Eels - Royal Pain Their new song from the Shrek the Third Soundtrack. It seems Eels are finally becoming bigger in the music scene again! If any band deserves it, it's Eels! And if this song is an indication of their next album, I'll be very happy indeed.

1. Yes, but it's rare. 2. As long as it's not goatse.cx or tubgirl, I'm up for it. 3. Originally it's trying to find information or like-minded individuals. Then, it switches to boredom. Also, I haven't a clue other than Obsidian. 4. Cardinair from Elysium RPG (forum no longer exists) because I wrote a lot of fun stories with him and we have good, fun conversations. HyperAuthor from the same forum, because of mostly the same reasons, although the things we wrote together didn't come near to the brilliance of her own stories. Also, she's a lot smarter than me and taught me a lot about life. Finally, there's - G R U N T - from forumsx.net, formerly known as war3.com. He's just so freaking hilarious. He's also incredibly supportive, more obsessive than I am, and an incredible artist (if he isn't working for the art department of a company like Blizzard in the future I will severely doubt that anything good can still come of this world). I don't really have any favourites from this forum because I honestly don't really know anyone. 5. Let's see. MacHead II from The Noosepaper. He built his own political forum with others (me among them) and we put a lot of work into it. Then, he must have suddenly realized that life sucks or something, because he suddenly just destroyed it. Not only that, but he went to other forums just to annoy the people who he had worked with. Then there's Grom/Massacre from forumsx because he used to be cool and tough, and now he throws he a hissy fit whenever someone comments on his hair or whatever. That's really all I can think of. I don't really hate people on forums (though sometimes I say otherwise). I sometimes dislike them, but that's often temporary until they make some funny comment or whatever and I like them again. I have a short attention span.

That pretty much goes for the comics too. Ghost Rider is just fugging awesome. Plot? We don't need no plot! We got a flamin' skull guy on a Harley* swingin' chains! *I don't know the first thing about motorcycles. It's probably not a Harley.

How does one go about getting a job in QA anyway?

Firstly, I don't see any commotion. Secondly, obviously not, because you keep giving arguements against reasons that you made up for me. All these reasons that you have for me are your own. I am getting tired of your implications. There is absolutely nothing about breastfeeding in general that bothers me (I was having a conversation with my cousin while she was breastfeeding just the other day). The only reason I made that comparison is because you were spewing stuff about something being unnatural or disgusting (which you are in fact still imposing on me, with that "evil childbearers" and whatnot). The comparison is there already anyway; both subjects pretty much have the exact same social taboo attached. I'm meeting YOU halfway. Breastfeeding is not what bothers me. What bothers me is breastfeeding in a multiplex auditorium. My reasons are purely economical. I don't see where you are getting this "omg breastfeeding BLEARGH!!!!" thing from, but it's definately not from me. I'd like to say that because of this comment I now officially hate your guts. The only reason my girlfriend and me aren't trying to have kids right now is because we can't support it. Do you have any idea how much it sucks to hear "you might have a child someday!" in a patronizing way when you're in that situation? Once again, a case of you pretending you know people. (However, I do not hate you for patronizing me because that would make me a hypocrite... which I am, but not in this case). And I can tell you, you damn well won't see us taking our infants to a multiplex auditorium where she will breastfeed it while I'm changing it's diaper. This is not because little boys have to see evil breastfeeding "omgbreastsareevil!!!1letssuejanetjackson!!!!!!" or whatever. Sure, I too can understand if someone feels that way, but like you, I don't agree with it. The reason we won't be doing that is because movie theatres are not day cares. Movie theatres provide a service, and anything that disturbs this service for paying customers should just plainly be prevented. That's why it's inappropriate to bring an infant to any movie (or any child to a movie that doesn't cater to their attention spans), let alone doing the whole neccesary shebang there. All of these acts have the potential of disturbing other paying customers. As a movie buff, I can honestly say that any such disturbance is unacceptable. If a woman is breastfeeding their child a multiplex, why do you think that is? It's in an attempt to quiet it down because it was getting fussy (or more likely, as in my case, loudly bawling) and disturbing the other customers. Someone who takes an infant to a movie theatre is no different from that chatty little tart two rows behind that keeps talking on her cellphone. It's just plain rude. The only reason I can see that someone would take an infant to a movie is that they couldn't get a babysitter. I can understand that; I don't know if I would be able to trust anyone with my kid for two or three hours. Hell, I would barely trust myself to take care of a child. The solution, however, is not to take your kids with you; it's to wait for the dvd. Even if it's a new release, the dvd is only a couple of months off. What? Where the heck did this come from? Seriously? Firstly, I know that. Secondly, I'm all for the kid's parents deciding what they can or cannot watch. What kind of lazy, irresponsible parent would trust the MPAA to do that for them? Everyone knows their rating system is bollocks anyway. P.S. Anyway, enough of that. I just saw Aardman and Dreamworks' Flushed Away. You know what? I take back what I said about being tired of antromorphisized (I have no idea how to spell that world) animals being taken out of their element. This movie shows that it can still be done in a way that's fresh and interesting. I'm just tired of terrible movies with antromorphisized animals being taken out of their element. Ugh... Open Season.

Right. Because a woman breastfeeding is disgusting and unnatural, whereas a girl with her top off jiggling her breasts in your face is perfectly okay. Wow, those two things have absolutely nothing to do with each other nor with what I'm saying! Good job! Why I think that it's a screwed up experience is because she was breastfeeding her infant in a public place (a multiplex, even) during an R-Rated movie where the child should not have even been in the first place. For the record, I have absolutely no problems with women breastfeeding. I don't know where you get the assumption that I find it disgusting and unnatural, because nothing I said implies that (Freud would have a field day with your post). I just think that, despite what the feminists tell you, there is a time and place for it. I do not think women should do it in this situation. I would like them to be discreet about it. Like you said, breastfeeding is natural. You know what's also natural? Teenage boys jacking off. Are you okay with that happening in a multiplex? Similarily, when my girlfriend is juggling her bare breasts in my face, it is in the privacy of our own home and not in a public movie theatre during the latest blockbuster. This has nothing to do with what is unnatural, it has to do with discretion. Seriously meta, I don't even care to count how many times you've rolled your eyes at me because of assumption. When I make an assumption, like on the previous page, it's because of misinformation (and I apologized for that). I thought Pan's Labyrinth only recently came out because in my country that's the case. It was a mistake, and I jumped the gun. That can happen. But I don't ever presume to know how people think. You don't know people. And yes, it is my belief that your assumption allows me to patronize you. So there. I think I'll opt to ignore the sarcasm and thank you for seeing the truth. Or something. Seriously though, I'm not sure why I warrant such a reaction, because I never said I was the alpha and omega of good taste, nor did I say that people were not allowed to do it or anything. Is it against the code of this forum to say that something is stupid without adding an "omg this is just MY opinion" disclaimer or something? Because seriously, if I'm typing it, and it's not a quote, then what else would it be but my opinion?

Flashbacks?

Well, like my edit said, I apologize for jumping the gun. You took and INFANT to a MOVIE THEATRE? Congratulations, you are officially one of the douchebags that destroyed the cinema experience. EDIT: Unless you don't live in a backwater country like me and it's out on DVD. I dunno. In that case, I apologize. It's been out on DVD for ages. Yeah, I realized that probability when I realized we generally get everything like four months later unless it's a blockbuster. I have been to plenty of movies in theatre where it did happen though. I saw a screening of Army of Darkness (we have a cult night in our theatre every now and again) and there was this baby crying all the time. At some point, it stopped, so I looked back to see if they were gone. No, the mom was BREASTFEEDING it. It was a generally screwed up experience. I know, the new TRANSformers movie looks terrible. Yes, Michael Bay is not a good director. The designs look completely horrible. That being said, the whole "Transformers? More like Bayformers AMIRITE???" thing is the most annoying and stupid internet witticism I have had the mispleasure of constantly coming across since the first time I came across a comparison between the Green Goblin and the Power Rangers.

So it helped in debugging your bug reports?

Has anyone mentioned David Gaider's neccesary stuff? You know, the tweaks and stuff he did?

So.. "Which Norse god(ess) would YOU be..."

I scored 80 percent on both Tyr and Balder. -
A possible solution would be to have an electronic board stating the names in writing.

I'm in college. Sleeping in late one weekends is what I do. I do recognize that fact about injuries; but it still impresses me that I had to spend the better part of a year with my arm in cast.

Yep, and actually I do like the GNR-version better. Axl's voice is just incomparable. Really? See, Axl's voice (and delivery) is pretty much just what ruins Guns N Roses for me. But that's just my opinion. I just can't stand that nasal, drink destroyed whine. Of course, let's be glad he has it; as patience shows, he's even worse when he doesn't overdo it. Iron Maiden - Journeyman I know what I want, and say what I want, and no one can take it away!

I wonder what the current position of the rights to Dungeon Keeper is, since Bullfrog no longer exists.

That's pretty awesome. It's those kind of bugs that are most difficult to deal with, so it's nice to have QA people who find them and try to have them taken out during development. I don't know if I'm going to play this game you are testing, but on behalf of gamers: Thanks, Cantousent! I do this often myself. I am fairly thorough. Maybe I should look into this entry level position. I'm still in college, though, so it'll have to wait. Not really? I usually end up going through areas multiple times anyway, and I'm not desperate (my general view of life is "eh, we'll be fine") and only a little bit mad. I just want to make sure I don't miss anything. I think this is a very healthy work ethic and even though I have very little work experience as a student, this is generally a work ethic I try to follow. I think it depends on the kind of commuting. I go to my school every day by train and bus which is generally a two hour ride. Since I don't have to drive myself, I can use this time to get a lot of work done. Although sometimes it can get frustrating if you have to do something with line-art, because bus tends to be not so steady. I had a bike accident seven years ago. I shattered the bones in my right arm really badly. I spent 43 weeks in cast and it never really fully healed. I can still feel it when I lift heavy things and such stuff. The thing is, I was biking every day again the semester after the accident, when I was still in cast. Accidents happen. I do suppose that the traffic climate is much different here in Holland; bikes outnumber cars here.

You know... WarCraft II. There isn't another game that had music that gets me pumped up like that. Even if they are midis.

I heard of this game, I didn't know it was so far in development. Looks kickass.

Eh. I didn't even show up.

Well, I think bottled water is disgusting, so, not always. The last thing I had was some fruit juice thingy.
