  1. Yeah, concencus is that the Barbarian is the most difficult class right now. Everyone except the Barbarian and the Monk take care of business from a decent distance, and the Monk has the advantage of having decent self healing capabilities.
  2. I remember reading that they actually couldn't beat it in house at Blizzard. That's because in the first two, three hours after release metacritic was swarmed with about one and a half thousand people voting 1, before anyone was even able to play it. I saw this happen because I had a preorder at a store that I couldn't pick up until the next day, so I saw these all streaming in the first few hours. This game's metacritic score was essentially doomed from right away. Maybe for good reason, because of the startup trouble due to the always online stuff. But it's not actually a reflection of the quality of the game, I feel.
  3. Just helped my mom, of all people, kill Diablo.
  4. A compilation of official Blizzard Responses:
  5. Just got back from the End User Event in Utrecht, a get together of special effects and 3D artists. Got to meet awesome people like Ted Boardman and Joe Gunn, it was fantastic.
  6. Some people get all the way to Inferno without finding any Legendaries, I found one on Normal. (I've barely been able to put more than a few hours in, too busy, still have to beat it on normal.)
  7. The ungodly amount of whining about this game... Even WoW players aren't THIS selfentitled!
  8. This belongs about ten pages back with the rest of that discussion.
  9. The movie had a nice contrast between the boorish greenhorn immortal and world-weary present-day one. Lambert did well. This post took me by surprise. I don't think I've ever seen anyone speak positively about Christopher Lambert's acting before.
  10. What's not funny about an enormous monster walking up to his unwitting and tiny victim, striking and then exploding himself upon impact? Get out of the game mechanics for a bit man. Not everything is about dps.
  11. Well duh. I didn't say it was impressive, I said it was funny.
  12. EDIT: Wow, wrong thread. Sorry.
  13. He was also a character named "Jesus" in one of those Mel Gibson snuff films.
  14. I seem to know a lot of old people who have yet to reach adulthood.
  15. I haven't complained, but then I haven't bought a Bio game since KoTOR. EDIT: To clarify, no, I didn't pirate them either.
  16. Gah, the European Battle.net seems to have hit a snag and has been down for quite a while. Suddenly longing for that "play local" button.
  17. I don't have the stomach for hardcore mode. I'd constantly be in fear of losing my character - it'd take all the fun out of it for me.
  18. Haha, thanks.
  19. I just saw The Avengers, and all I can say is Attached was a really long Prometheus trailer, which pisses me off because ever since the first teaser I've been attempting to stay completely spoiler free. Also, the cut they showed only had one post-credits scene, the one with . Can anyone describe the other one for me?
  20. The Open Beta weekend is what convinced me. I wasn't even that interested before, but I had so much fun with the beta weekend that I preordered it the moment it ended.
  21. Is that a spoiler? I thought we knew that since BlizzCon. : / With the and all. Better edit my posts.
  22. I was going to reply with: but then I saw it was you so I'm going to go for instead.
