  1. Well, I'm on Lexx' side. Everyone in D2 was using the same cookie cutter builds because one mess up meant you couldn't compete and had to start over. Only dedicated theorycrafters (a rounded down 0% of the games' player base) would take the risk. Minmaxing is not gameplay.
  2. This is the issue? You have got to be kidding. These are the people who want to ban video games because they don't care enough about their kids to actually take an interest in their daily activities. This is corporate, through and through. That is the only possible conclusion you can take from the combination of what is in the proposal and who is proposing it. But what do I care if the U.S. decides to commit intellectual euthenasia. (Yet actual euthenasia is a boo boo.)
  3. http://www.buzzfeed....se-of-obamacare Hahahahahahahahaha!
  4. I've read his script and I can say pretty accurately that they didn't follow the script at all. It's the same general plot, but that's it.
  5. Is that the one where you start hitting faster and faster and deal mad damage while looking like you're having a seizure? Then yes, that one.
  6. You're underestimating kids and overestimating adults.
  7. I'm going through Normal with all characters first, so I haven't even started nightmare yet and I just found my sixth legendary... I'd say I was extremely lucky, but all the ones I have are still useless. This new one is a two handed axe for level 16 characters!
  8. Yeah, it was such a shame. I'm a huge fan of the cartoon, it's fantastic if a bit kiddy, but it had huge potential for a really awesome flick. Damn you M Night Shyamalamdingdong!
  9. How are you people not getting legendaries? I found a set recipe and a standalone recipe on Normal alone! Am I just that lucky?
  10. Not to put a damper on his accomplishment, but he had an entire group out there farming gear for him to get to this level.
  11. Spent a couple of days couchsurfing, did far more walking with luggage than my body seems to be able to. I can barely stand now.
  12. Iron Man 2 wasn't as good as the first, but I wouldn't call it abysmal. It was entertaining, even if it didn't really go anywhere. Off the top of my head I can name a dozen comic book movies that make it look like Shakespeare. Anyway I'm sure Shane Black has something great planned. He's fantastic.
  13. Pretty sure that's what he's saying, it washed away the bad taste of AvP:R. That better be what he's saying. *shakes fist*
  14. JNPC? I find all three Followers far more annoying. Any variation of DO YOU SEE THAT ENEMY OVER THERE makes me **** bricks.
  15. That's unfair, there is a lot of strategy going on in SC2 competetive gaming.
  16. Yeah they already said they might add it, but for some reason there's some kind of technical issue that they have to solve first.
  17. That's really showcasing faults in the game more than anything else. Frantic mouse clicking should not be much of an RTS asset. Decisionmaking should be. Actions per minute =/ clicks per minute. It's everything that actually does something. Anything that does nothing is not counted.
  18. I'd say at a certain level of play StarCraft becomes all about hand-eye coordination and physical speed. A big deal is made out of APM for a reason.
  19. No, I read part of the series as well (the first two books, I think). And I was impressed with how well they managed to turn that into a full length movie story. Like I said, it hit all the theoretical right notes, it just didn't work for me. : /
  20. I watched Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Better than the first, I feel. The actors and director were obviously more confident - they hit their stride, and Moriarty was excellently played in a low key "Alan Rickman in Die Hard" way. Still, one thing I really missed which the first one did have was the element of mystery - the plot was relatively straightforward and wouldn't have worked if the characters weren't as interesting as they are. Shame, because that did make it seem less like Sherlock Holmes and more like generic action movie with a crazy genius. Since I loved the film, I'm a bit curious as to what you didn't like about it. See, this is where it gets difficult for me. I usually love pulpy entertainment, things that go for spectacle, and in theory this movie hits all the right notes even if the plot didn't hold together (never bothered me for Star Wars). But it just didn't "do" it for me. All the action scenes, while well crafted, felt flat and I felt no tension. Also, I expected better CG from a Pixar director, the special effects generally took me right out of the film - the CG characters looked like they were made for a full CG movie and then smooshed into a realistic environment.
  21. Depends on what you want. Magic Find is better for finding magic items, Gold Find is better if you want to get money quick so you can buy magic items on the AH. Because the pickup gold is always going to be more than your items are worth.
  22. Didn't they cancel this movie? Or at least push it back so far as to allow for reshooting the entire thing?
  23. Holy necropost, Batman! Dewan Loas for male characters, Marina Selene for female characters.
