  1. Obviously, the Twilight series is for creepy middle-aged moms, not teenagers.
  2. http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/59736-diablo-3-sign-up/page__st__200#entry1181591
  3. That's because you're presumably not a thirteen year old girl.
  4. I just saw a British film called Death at a Funeral which cracked me up to no end. I almost died laughing.
  5. At least you can still buy a physical copy pretty much everywhere. : / Though prices vary like crazy, I was in Germany last week and it was like
  6. "I wonder what news there is in the Random Video Game News Threa-"
  7. I know the use of a Scoundrel. It's to have a companion whose voice doesn't want to make you tear your ears off.
  8. Really? I liked it. It was a better Indiana Jones movie than the last Indiana Jones movie.
  9. Apologies, I thought you were implying that in games women are not the constant object of attention from horny guys, not a difference in the severity of the situation.
  10. And that makes a difference? Look at Fat, Ugly or Slutty and note how many of these propositions are on there.
  11. Fair enough, I figured that since he was replaying the campaign that's what he meant. The new battle.net menus do look pretty nifty.
  12. I'm not seeing a difference in the in-game UI?
  13. As far as I'm concerned hobbies are a part of one's identity. Being a gamer does not mean you are only a gamer.
  14. Surprising since, while not a complete bomb, Prometheus sure as hell wasn't a runaway success. It barely broke even if you count the advertising budget with it.
  15. New York Times has written an article about the issue. It can be found here: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/02/us/sexual-harassment-in-online-gaming-stirs-anger.html?_r=2 Some choice snippets:
  16. Expendables is in that other 10% that my hyperbolic statement allows for.
  17. Sent away. When I get home, I'll check to see if the invite is there. If I play ten hours and still want to play, I'll shell out for a full month and then play it by ear. If it can't hold my interest for ten hours, I can't imagine it was ever going to be the game for me anyway. Either way, I'll have to share one more ToR noob experience in the thread after I've played a bit. Actually you can just get a free trial on the website. No invites needed.
  18. Although at least there is a decently meaty female character model.
  19. Maybe you'll have to.
  20. There's always a shortage of tanks and healers, isn't there?
  21. If you have thick enough gloves you can manhandle your cat all you want.
  22. I'm unfamiliar with the terminology, but Operations are Raids, right? Warzones are Battlegrounds and Flashpoints are Dungeons? Because generally Raids are the bread and butter of MMO Endgame. I wonder how that'll go.
  23. As far as I know they're downsizing the amount of servers, offering rewards for server transfers and plainly merging some. This is just what I heard though, I've only been playing it for a week on the free trial - but it's hella busy in the starting zones at least.
  24. I used to hate cats, but now I have two. They're awesome. Plus our cats hate each other, so I can bet with others who will win a fight.
  25. Past my "edit by" point, apologies for the double post, but video game news: SW:TOR is going Free To Play with Subscription Options. Good thing I didn't buy it after trying out the free trial about a week ago. Source: http://www.swtor.com/info/news/press-release/20120731
