Believe
I moved away from God because he decays society. "God Hates ****", anyone? Things like that is what decays society. EDIT: What, I can't use a synonym for a bundle of sticks now? I have gay friends who don't mind. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Many would disagree, and argue that God helps build society. "Love your enemies" "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" I'ts really how people intepret religion that matters.

T.O.M.B.S, vol 3
This isn't the report I'm meaning to do, I just thought I'd get this one over with. The subject of this report is Shadowstrider

wasting time
Can I come over to your house some time?

Another weird thing...
The fear would be an incentive for them to get it right. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It'd help if you women weren't so darn hard to please. And honestly, it should be the other way around! When was the last time you heard a guy say, "Not tonight, I have a headache."???

KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
That was a joke. Seriously, the force is not the problem. For starters it depends on what force powers you choose. In K1, even powers like force storm were not as powerful as to kill an entire room of enemies, especially on the end levels. K2's problem was that it was much easier, even without the force. My weapon master could take out an enemy with one or two hits with his lightsaber, even toward the end. The force is not the problem, finding the right balance is. And as I said, the force is part of KOTOR, so it belongs there. I do agree with you on them not making K2, but for different reasons. Reason #1: K1 didn't even need a sequel.

You're the problem. If it weren't for you, KOTOR 2 would be better.

KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
Why the heck does Hades even play KOTOR if he wants to play a non-Jedi character so much? Geez. Maybe with the next SW game it'd be a good idea, but not for KOTOR. KOTOR is about Jedi. @Meshugger: HK-47 is supposed to appear in the SW Galaxies expansion The Trials of Obi-Wan.

In What aspect is Kotor I better than II?
I never played NWN, so I wouldn't know. Even still, the K1 story was way more interesting and better-written to me. It was simpler, yes, but many consider that one of its strong points. Also, the influence system was a great idea, but IMO poorly executed. If they include it in K3, they ought to rework it.

last jedi?
To be fair though, Bastila was way more important to the story than Carth. It'd be unfair to just do away with a character as important as her with no explanation.

the worst character
GO-TO will always win these polls. Not only was he useless, he's annoying and just boards your vessel on his own. At least he gave you credits for worlds you saved.

KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
It could have something to do with K3. How he got there, for one. What he remembers as well could tell us something about La's plans for K3. My gut feeling though is he'd be just suffering from his usual bout of memory loss and know nothing. <_<

The Trials of Obi Wan has already been released. Is there any word yet on what HK's role in that game has been?

KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
No, K3 will most likely focus on Revan and the exile in some way. I'm wondering if the exile should be the PC for K3 as well just to make writing easier. K3 will most likely be about the war between the Jedi/Republic and the True Sith. And maybe, just maybe, we'll have some closure.

last jedi?
Because of continuation purposes in the storyline, Bastila survives. She was more essential to the storyline than Jolee or Juhani, and for male Revan she was supposedly his lover. She survives in the DS endings, and in the LS endings you can save her even if you fail at persuasion. So basically, there's no reason to kill Bastila unless you want to. The only ending in which she makes no appearance in K2 is the LSF.

KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
Obviously, Revan intended for others to follow him eventually. It's kind of stupid to think Revan could defeat the True Sith alone. And as Kreia said, he would need soldiers in the war that comes. BTW, whose idea was the "True Sith" anyway? LA's or Obsidian's? Too bad the devs almost never post here.

C.S. Lewis quote
And this is exactly why I never post a religious discussion thread. Way more often than not, they degenerate into a bunch of people hurling insults at each other, making statements without backing them up, and not convincing anybody of anything. And the worst of it is, I've been guilty of it, too.

If you don't need to back up your statements, why should we?

C.S. Lewis quote
For one thing, the crusades were not as much an unprovoked attack as they were a delayed response to years of Muslim aggression. The first crusade was a response to a call for help from the Byzantine Emperor Alexius I Comnenus. By that time, Muslims had been conquering and repressing Jews and Christians throughout much of the Middle East. About my wording, that was a poor choice of words on my part, and you're right. Unfortunately, Islam does provide justification for waging war in Allah's name. Sura 9:5 - "...fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war)." Sura 9:29 - "Fight those who believe not in God nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden Which hath been forbidden by God and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, even if they are of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” Sura 47:4 Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; at length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly on them…” But here: Exodus 20:13 – “You shall not murder.” Mathew 26:52 – “…all who draw the sword will die by the sword.” Luke 6:27 – “But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” Luke 23:49 – “When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?” And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered, ‘No more of this!’ And he touched man’s ear and healed him.” Keep in mind the OT is full of wars being waged, but those are commands to go to war against specific people at a specific time for a specific reason. They are part of history, not doctrine. Also, in the OT offenses are listed as punishable by death. Keep in mind, this is before the coming of Jesus, and these commands did were for the followers to obey for themselves, not to go out and wage war as a means of spreading the faith. Christianity teaches that because Jesus came, we no longer should punish others ourselves. But that, as always, is my interpretation.

It's your job to back up your statements, buddy, not just make them.
