Cat fight. Bastila vs female Exile over the love interest of Revan. Passion can be a dangerous weapon. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The love interest of female Revan, right?

The Savior and the Destroyer
Dark Moth replied to Darth Jebus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
1. And you believe that? Then you really need to take a history course, my friend. Sure war can bring strength to a nation, but that really depends on the situation, and for the most part the benefits only come in the long run. More often than not, war drains a nation of its people, finances, and resources. Often, a nation is weakest right after conflict, especially a series of conflicts, as was with the Republic. 2. It wasn't for if he lost his memories, it was a mere security measure to make sure only he would be able to access the Star Map. The situation was far from win-win. The war with the Republic was hurting both sides. It cost Revan and the Republic millions of lives and resources. By the end, the Republic was weaker than ever. 3. If Revan wins, sure he'll have an empire, but he'll be weak from the war or in the case of the LS ending, the Sith will have been totally defeated. 4. The Republic wins, it's a crippled animal. Don't forget in K2, the Republic was on the verge of collapsing even though it won the war against the Sith. Why? Becuase all the previous wars had drained it to the point of exhaustion. Recovery for the Republic would have taken many years, and many more to get to the way it had been. But before then, it would be weak and ripe for the picking. Revan's war would have in no way helped it. And you also need to realize the Republic and Jedi had already seen their share of wars already. They didn't really need an awakening, at least not the way Revan supposedly intended. If Revan really wanted to help the Republic, he would have done a "Gandalf". By that I mean he would have shown the threat of the Sith to the Republic, counseled to them, and prepared them for war. His war of conquest did nothing to help, it only made the situation worse. And don't think it wouldn't work, because it would have. Had the Jedi and the Republic known about the True Sith threat, they would have jumped in immediately. Don't forget, they kept out of the Mandalorian wars because they felt the true threat had yet to present itself. And that threat ended up being the True Sith. -
No, but the Banana Split is a rather fun move to hit. And yes, there's a good reason it's called that.

I found Kreia easier to take out than Malak. I do think it's kind of weird how she's too weak to do anything on her own throughout the whole story then *BOOM!* She's an uber-powerful Sith Lord who can make lightsabers float. Seeing Bastila vs Handmaiden would be rather interesting. I think Bastila would be able to take her out fairly easily though, as she's much stronger in the force and probably just as good with a lightsaber.

Take steroids. They don't test at high school level, do they? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope. Maybe would take steroids if I didn't care about making one area of my manhood stronger at the expense of another.

The Savior and the Destroyer

Yup. If that's OE's thinking, the U.S. would have been a superpower right after the civil war. :D -
Yikes. Remind me never to tick you off when you've sat around all week. Anger helps with lifting, though. It's also nice to take out anger during a practice match as well. I think the last time I danced on my own was when someone dropped a centipede down my back. :"> J/K I admire/am annoyed by athletic freaks. (not you DL, I just admire you) Mostly I'm only bugged by them because I'm not the most athletic of people myself, and my jealousy tends to get to me. :"> My class valedictorian is also a tri-athlete. He does three sports a year, but he's done four different sports total, all on a competitive level, and maintains his shape in the summer. He's also the stud in my weight class I mentioned earlier. <_<

Okay. Well, carry on.

Height really doesn't matter when it comes to weight classes. It's based strictly on weight, at least the way we do it around here. As usual, the taller you are, the more you'll weigh. You could be one of those tall, lanky kids with little muscle and fat, a tall heavyweight with a lot of fat, or somewhere in-between. Regardless, they look at weight alone. So if you're tall but very skinny, you could by chance have to go against someone who's short but very muscular. Definitely an interesting match-up that would be. That answer your question? Oh, okay. Well done. Although, were the practices every weekday, or just a few out of the week? I only ask because I know practices tend to vary. I've only done about two sports every year, not counting the conditioning we do in the off-season. You're probably better disciplined at staying in shape than I am, because most physical activity I do is on a competitive level. One reason I do sports is because I'm too lazy to stay in shape on my own. :">
-
Yeah, we are. The weight classes range from 103-275 pounds. I currently qualify for the 145 pound weight class, but I'm trying to make it down to the 140 pound class. One of the reasons being that the other guy in my weight class is an absolute stud who's been at the sport for a lot longer than I have. At the 140 pound class I'll have a much better chance at starting.

Our practices can be fun...but for the most part they're usually boring and tiring. But then again, our practices aren't supposed to be fun. I most likely won't do wrestling in college, though I might stick with track. And do you mean you did those three sports at the same time , or did them all at one time or another? I don't think I would be able to handle three sports at the same time, especially with schoolwork. With a sport like mine, one is enough. Kudos to you for also doing hockey, another challenging sport. As well as nice and violent, too (always a plus). ^_^ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Quit teasing me. They are for motivational purposes. Yeah... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well geez, why didn't ya tell me? More than happy to oblige. Just don't get high hopes.

It being wrestling season for me, I go to practice five days out of the weak, usually for about 2-2.5 hours each day. That's not counting our match days, so it's really like six days out of the week. And if you think your sport practice is hard, no kind of athlete trains harder than wrestlers. (And if you think 2 hours is long, one school in my state practices for over 4 hours each day!!! They're also one of the top in the state, if not the entire region.) It's times like these one learns to appreciate the lifeblood of athletes: water and Gatorade. It's also hard because I have to cut weight this time of year, and as one who hates dieting, it's not easy. But it's a good thing as well because I'm in good shape and this is the one time of year I actually eat healthy. I'm no health nut, but it is nice staying in shape, which is why I also do outdoor track in the spring. At least then I don't have to eat as healthy. :D

Or at least puts up a good fight (a fight that I don't see happening on the horizon) because, damnit, I was disappointed with Iraq. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The sooner you both stop sympathizing with regimes like these, the better. My advice: get over your hatred of the US and realize we are not the biggest threat to world security at the moment.

Hey, nice job! Another fanfic writer is okay with me. Good job so far. By the way, not to bother you, but if you can, please check one of my own as well. I'm always eager for opinions on them.

I seem to have that effect on people. :">

Yeah, you just wait until next time. Mark my words...

I like lighstide. Darkside can be more fun sometimes, though.

Come on, people! Less Star Wars, more Chuck Norris! "Bring it, Sith pansies!" Okay, I'm done. -
Because women are the fairer sex.

Try "vast majority" of them. I still stand by that Revan's actions helped the Republic in no way, and his actions showed clearly that he had no intention of saving the Republic. Between Revan's actions and Kreia's words, I'd take Revan's actions as truth any day. Waging war against the Republic in order to save it is both absurd and entirely unrealistic. Nothing like that has ever happened in real life, and everyone knows civil war only weakens a nation, which is exactly what happened to the Republic. You don't wage war against a nation in order to help it. The Republic already had its share of wars to begin with, and it was already weakened by the Mandalorian Wars and the war with Exar Kun. So how can one even say Revan became the Republic's villain in order to save it? They can't, because he didn't.

The last time he was here was when he posted the Merry Christmas thread. Other than that, I haven't seen him for while.

The Sith do exist. They are just waiting for Chuck Norris to die so they can take over. -
