Well, I misinterpreted your question. Granted, the child is not always unwilling, (although the vast majority is) I've read about a 12 year old girl who routinely had sex with older men willingly (before she was tragically killed) The point I'm making is if something supposedly unnatural is okay, where do you draw the line? How do you know what's okay and what's not? You can't always say love justifies everything, because Michael Jackson apparently loved those young boys yet it would still be considered unacceptable, regardless if they were willing or not.

Since I'm sure you had me in mind, I'll answer this for you. Well, when you believe a 2000 year-old book is divinely inspired, then yes you do tend to obey what it says. Besides, if it's okay for a man to love a man (and I mean passion love, not brotherly love), then would you say it's okay for a man (or woman) of mature age to love a young boy or girl? Michael Jackson would certainly agree. Are you seriously comparing Homosexuality to Pedophilia? Are you aware of the difference between two adults having consensual sex, and one adult having sex with someone who does not have the ability to consent? If it's okay for a man to love (and in this case I mean love in the having sex sense) a woman, then would you say it's okay for a man (or woman) to love another man or woman against their will? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Many gay people end up going straight. Some people might think they're gay or straight, only to turn out not being that way. Granted, it's not that way for all of them. Of course it's not okay for someone to love someone against their will, but in this case, it's choosing the path that is more gratifying. @ Lucius: If you believe in God and that God is eternal and that the Bible is his/her/its word, then of course you would obey the entity that created the Earth. I am not a conservative Christian, I'm more moderate, but I still hold to many of the lessons taught by the Bible.

What I just want to know is why the giant pink bunny hates K2 and doesn't even want to see K3 yet keeps contributing to this thread? The way things are going right now, the fans would just be better off making K3 themselves. It'd probably leave a lot more people satisfied. -

Holy Sh*t! I didn't even see that!! Sorry, I should have lurked first. Apologies for stealing your fire, RevanRedefined. :"> -

Michael Jackson would certainly agree. If something is not natural, such as being homosexual, then of course people are going to disagree with it. I know animals do it too, but many animals also eat their young. " I'm not going to step out and say that homosexuality is perfectly natural, but I'm not going to treat them any differently just cause they're gay.

OMG!! I have to say this one!!!! Atton: The ships firing at us! If it hits a meteor, the whole system will blow up! Exile: Great. Atton: Basically, if they hits us we're dead, if they don't hit us, we're dead. But I do have some good news. Exile: What? Tell me! Atton: I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico!! :D -
Aaauuugh!! It's horrible!! Poor Visas. :'( They should have gone with just the blind eyes. The second pic actually looks more normal except for Visas's face.

Well, let's not forget these famous folks: More of the good, bad, and ugly. Woops...fixed the images, now.

Not exactly, and the reason you don't hear about these things often is because they don't happen as often. If you had any idea how bad the Taliban were, I'm sure you would rethink your statement. Here are some examples: Shooting/stoning women in the streets for seemingly trivial slip-ups (such as showing skin, for example) An execution where a woman was shot to death in a soccer field in front of her friend. Throwing acid in a woman's face because she let some of her hair show outside her burka. Rapings of women (they did a lot to women, didn't they?) Destroying the Buddhist statues. Eradicating things such as TV, radio, a lot of modern convenicances. Forcing men to wear beards. If the Afghans were worse off or just as bad, I think the situation would be a lot worse.

1. Muslims do not wear turbans as a rule 2. While pork is forbidden, that rule is hardly the crux of the religion. 3. Praving five times a day is a sign of uttere devotion to god, much like monks and nuns but fair enough, that isnt for everybody. 4. Islamic states being "worse off" has more to do with the fact that the majority of them are ruled by corrupt and bloated royal famlies. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I was kind of fooling with those reasons, but still they don't appeal to me. :D And you hit the nail on the head with you're last statement. One of the reasons many conservative Islamic states are the way they are is because of governments. These states are brutally oppressed by Islamic governments that hog wealth and are afraid of change and losing power. Look at Afghanistan after the Taliban fell; the Taliban were not liked. Same with Iran: the Iranians hate their government, and the recent elections in that state were most likely rigged. It's happened before. (I can't include Saddam's regime, since it wasn't really as muc of an Islamic regime) But if these governments finally modernize and be more liberal and secular, I think you'll find them better off. Agreed, Hildegard.

No, I do mean what I say. Sorry if you misinterpreted the whistle smiley. And thanks, but I'd rather not live under Islam. Praying five times a day toward Mecca, having to wear a turban, and not being allowed to eat pork doesn't appeal to me much. :D (no offense toward Muslims intended) And the conservative Islamic states are usually the worst-off. Turkey is more liberal, and is better off than many other Islamic states.

Highly doubtful. At most, nuking Isreal just give them less innocent people to kill. " The true goal of these hardcore Islamic terrorists is to cleanse the world of unbelievers until only Islam remains. It's these people who give Islam a bad name. If you look at the terrorists we face, most of them are young men. It's a favorite tactic of the terrorists to snag people while they're young and warp their minds into their way of thinking.

Well, if he was lightside, he defeated the Sith and saved the galaxy, so I think that would earn him some more fans. Still, I'd prefer to see Revan as a badass Jedi Master helping to rebuild the order (with help from Bastila, of course ) by teaching other Jedi instead of some senator. This is assuming he was lightside, of course. -
So do I. K1 had that for both lightside and darkside, but I don't think you can call K2's ending one. K3 had better have a happy ending or else. Heck, I'll make a mod to change the ending if need be. A "Return of the King" type would be nice, one with plenty of darkness and drama, but a happy result in the end.

Possible Bug: T3-M4 Joining
Dark Moth replied to Marc-Ange Draco's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think the thing with the red X happened to me, too. Question: could you talk to T3 in the Ebon Hawk before you reached Telos? If so, I think it's okay. And don't forget, you can't level people up while on the Ebon Hawk (except yourself). You'll have to finish Telos before you can get T3 back, so I'd keep playing. If you can use him in the party and level him up fine after that, I think it's okay. Just make sure you keep your save slot before you left Peragus, in case you have to restart again. This is probably just one of K2's conveniant glitches that makes life harder for us. <_< -

How about a Star Destroyer? I want one of those. -
The Greeks did indeed accept homosexuality, especially in males. The 'male beauty' was something that was heavily emphasized. The story of Narcissus falling in love with his reflection is, I think, a vague hint of this.

I really hated it when I found out that K3 was already in the works but then scrapped by LA. In my opinion, scrapping K3 was a bad move on their part. Even after all this time, K3 hasn't been announced yet. The way things look now, K2 came out too soon and K3 will come out too late. At least they're not as bad as Blizzard when it comes to Starcraft. (still waiting for Starcraft: Ghost to come out) -
What music are you listening to right now?
Dark Moth replied to draakh_kimera's topic in Way Off-Topic
I was on a classic rock kick today. I pulled out some songs by Queen, Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, and AC/DC. Of course, to satisfy my inner redneck, I listened to the country music station. :D -
For a second, I thought this was a KOTOR character fan thread. Guess we'll have to stick with real people. Although I wouldn't be surprised if Darth Launch posts a pic of Carth here... :D  I'm too lazy to post a pic, but I'll just name them, although I wouldn't exactly call myself a 'fanboy'. There are lot of others, but here are a few. Dave Chappelle (so funny) The Simpsons (a great show) Ben Rothleisberger (Steeler's savior, I think I got his name right) Tobey Maguire (just because he was a good Spiderman) Quentin Tarantino (even if Kill Bill was a tad graphic) H.G. Wells; J.R.R. Tolkein (both are geniuses) Kate Beckinsale (so hot, reminds me of Bastila Kelly Hu (also hot, did the voice of Visas) Mothman (the terror of Point Pleasant)

Possible Bug: T3-M4 Joining
Dark Moth replied to Marc-Ange Draco's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That same thing happened to me!! And yes, I do have an X-Box. I couldn't get him to join, so after a while I went on without him. I kep playing until after I got into the Ebon Hawk, and somehow T3 ended up there with me. I would try saving the game and proceeding forward, only the next time you save, do it in a different slot so you can go back and restart if you have to. If T3 joins you in the Ebon Hawk, you're okay. If not, then I don't think I can help you. Yeehaaw!!! 200 posts! :D -

Regardless, K2 is going to be hard for continuation. I agree that K1 didn't even need a sequal. The fact that K2 was made a direct sequal is why it was so hard to accomodate the storyline, mainly because of Revan's multiple personality. If they were smart, they would have done it in a different time period and start with a whole new storyline. At least that's what I think. As for Revan, all I can say is they better not kill him/her off. I guess that stems from having been Revan myself. And for some reason, Revan made a bigger impression on me than the exile. If K3 wanted to use exile as the main character, I think that would be better for a couple reasons: You wouldn't have to come up with a new PC, and also would not have to worry about finding an official face for the exile. Also, if they wanted to start the exile over, they could have some sort of even occur where the PC loses his/her powers and has to start over. At the end of K2, they never clearly stated whether the exile's 'wound in the force' was healed, so I think that would help out. -
I tend to think of black as a color myself, even if it officially 'isn't' a color. As Metadigital implied, it's an idiomatic thing. You might say the same thing about white, since white is the presence of all colors while black is the absence of all colors.
