The intro music in IWD, just great at setting the scene. I like a lot of the music from FO and PST though.

It's probably quite likely that there'll be expansion packs for NWN2, which always guarantees a good few patches along the way.

Are there any full-blown expansion packs coming out for Guild Wars? I'm thinking about getting it but I don't want to spend lots of money keeping up with the latest developments.

It doesn't show up on Google, I know this probably means it's no longer up but if anyone knows where I can find it I'd be very thankful.

1.5 doesn't exist for some reason, 1.4 is the stable version you can download. Make sure you download the tutu fixpack as well since it contains all the updates they've made since japeth left the project (he's back now hence the upcoming release of 1.6).

Thanks for the links Karka, I'm dling Ahriman's Prophecy as I type since Call of Duty seems to be too much for my old PC to handle. Bah! The sooner my main rig gets fixed the better, although I'm having a cool renaissance period with my older games.

I'd wait a couple more months for Tutu 1.6, which fixes the annoying creature spawn issues (a pack of dread wolves at level 1 is kinda hard unless you're hardcore). You can download the beta now if you're impatient but it has a couple of issues. What armour was that, and who do you kill to get it?

Make sure you install Baldurdash, it fixes a ****load of bugs.

I thought it might be nice to have a thread full of great freebie games, so please post anything you've had a lot of fun with. My choice is this remake of Chaos, a classic TB multiplayer game that I used to play endlessly on my old 48k Spectrum with friends. You basically each control a wizard who can cast a spell and then move each round on this one screen. The spells are mainly monster summoning spells, each of which have a plain but cool wee animation, destructive spells (eg lightning bolt) and other kinds of spells that influence the game. It was the first game (iirc) ever made by the Gollops, who went on to create the X-Com series, and it is still as much fun as it ever was. So long as you don't need super 3D graphics and you have some friends to play with you can have a lot of fun with this game. I'm still waiting for an internet version of Chaos, a promising version was being developed a few years ago but it was never finished or released to the public. I've never had a problem getting any of the BG games to work in XP. If it doesn't work once you've patched I can't think what you'd do.
