  1. :runs a finger thorugh an ear: GOOD LORD MAN! STOP WITH THE GIRLY SCREAMS!
  2. that is a perfect line for VV... Just saying. but with advent rising i could only play it ONCE for about three hours before I couldn't get back in... Well now I'm playing Fable TLC and having a good time even if the controls are wierd and getting into twinblades camp is like trying to hit a target a half mile a way with a 9 mm.
  3. I'm posting this because I need to do a little bit of ranting to vent against Majestco. Particularly over Advent rising (which I snagged for about 19.99). I install the game and play it, It's got a few bugs (not the bucketloads that Vampire had in version 1.0) but is generally playable. Some of the glitches are sound based and I quit the game to go see if theres a patch. When I try to get back in I get a general protection fault error with no reason or history given. Now when you go through the majesco forums you find threads about this and NO developer responce or even an attempt to say sorry. No patch in the works nothing. This is one of those games that was sent out buggy as heck and just not checked on. At least Troika tried to fix a few bugs. I've been noticing that there are several games that are hyped above and byond the call of duty, but then they come out and get panned as either average or a little bleow average, OR get squashed by the compition and can't make the dent in the market they should have dispite being a good game and usually the dev either cuts production on ANYTHING having to do with said project or otherwise finds a way to run like hell. Games like Advent and Vampire COULD have been good games. But it seemed like the first round of stuff was acutally more of a beta test without any Gold version being submitted (via patch). Another game that feels like it should be in this catagory is Pariah. The game is good, short but good. But the guns don't have much ammo and the storyline is held together by a leap and a prayer. It felt more like they were sending out a playable build complete with the expository dialogue and the actual story. What little we are told about the story comes in voice overs that kinda jump from point a to point c and your supposed to be a good little boy and hit on point B. Honestly it just bugs me that a company would put all this effort into making a games name known only to kill it at day 3 because the reviewers decided it wasn't exactly half life reborn.
  4. I am wondering same thing right now. And haven't I give good explanation why Exar Kun is NOT strongest one? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Xard. I wasn't saying that you were wrong. Just that buddy boy wasn't correct. and ultimatly this is a futile topic becuse of a number of reasons. Cheif of which being the Definition of POWER. which is the more powerful? the one who can life a ship by sheer will? or the one who tips a planets axsis by knowing where to push? Also with this flexible definition of power we get subjective power. Under X circumstances you get Y amount of power and under X writer character Y is teh ubernastrum!
  5. lesse... the basics behind blasters remain the same no matter the size... thus you could possibly deflect an at at blaster cannon with a lightsaber, the problem would be getting out of the way if you miss. Honestly I don't care about this part as Revan and Exiles powerlevels are COMPLETLy changable based on how you play but you forget he personally slew Masters Odan Urr AND vodo sisko baas. Two of the most powerful at a time when the Jedi Thrived. and besides, I think you'd do a heck of alot worse against a bunch of people when you were a 5000 year old spirit kept alive only by the sacrifice of an entire RACE. to say that backstabbing was heavily shunned is not entirly true. GETTING CAUGHT backstabbing was shunned but doing it without getting caught but everyone knowing about it was encouraged. sigh.. skywalker revan and exile fanbois what can you do.
  6. hey I said I LIKED gamestop.
  7. dum ditty dum: WE ASSEMBLE!
  8. on advent rising, I just got the bugger. It's interesting to say the least as I've played through, I've noticed that once I get my ubermenche powers I cease to rely on anysort of gun. Also the way they do the targeting is crap. it just doen't like to stay targeted.
  9. depends... but with the fan made stuff you can NEVER get the bug fixes without extra stuff.
  10. Yarr, the PC version. And I enjoyed the first but it got a little repetitive and had some hammy lines. Still, I hear the plots great... a film noir love story eh? With naked Mona? Sounds
  11. actually they DO fix bugs... only problem is that they fix bugs and turn the entire thing into a victorian steampunk game while they are ate it (or somthing similar)
  12. I think that the person who wins gets the most votes BUT must also be one of the top five in tournement of an FPS of some kind.
  13. bah... the REAL insanity is in Way off topic.
  14. punsiher, and some spats of COH.
  15. Personally I can stand the hitman games better than I can stand the Splinter cells. Mainly becuase splinter cell is hiding in the dark and not moving while Hitman is hiding in plain sight.
  16. Which store is this? Have car, will travel. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> at 50 and bidwell.. about 3 or four hours from you (I think).
  17. "Come son of Jor-El! kNEEl before ZOD!"
  18. and it's from bottom to top kor... All in all the game can be fairly intuitive. just frustrating because you have to take your weapons home to get em in your armory (that place is huge btw) and in places like New Orleans you can't exactly do that and NOT attract attention.
  19. McDonalds. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you make this mcdonalds employee cry.
  20. also in terms of upclose and personal theres melee (knife, sledge, axe, wierd gardening tool) and theres brawl (feeding and fists of fury)
  21. Congratulations you've won this wonderful wood chipper... care to take a closer look?
  22. with the crowd that hangs out in this part of the forum I'm never too sure...
  23. Calax

    Comics

honestly neutral... place em as the story deems it. or do what Megatokyo did in the early days with just 4 panels.
  24. isn't that the musical where they sing about the green green dress with twenty buttons and a strap?
