I don't think anyone is trying to take the argument to that level. BUT I also think that a larger level of disclosure is needed to protect the people from their "representatives".

Even with freedom of information the public needs to be actively seeking the sources; specially since media outlets are also biased towards a political position or just in search of ratings. Which in modern age is not viable means for many people, so it's through the filters of the media outlets that information is massively distributed and how public perception is dictated. So in a place where people relinquish their freedom to choose thought for themselves, what good will do; to democracy, freedom of information? But I digress from the point; Joseph Bloggs MP/ Representative/ Senator/ President/ Prime Minister is also a person with a right to privacy. What concerns us is strictly in regards to the government position he runs, not the personal details of their lives. Which has been the main focus of the WikiLeaks debate on the media, and has been the only information we have scrutinized in the last 20 years from our public servants. You make all information available and its bound to be abused by people with the means to propagate it. This one things that to a degree the public servant looses parts of it's right to privacy when it takes up office. Not to the point where I can go in and look at their mortgage statement, but I should certainly know how much they're receiving in "donations" and where it's going. And part of this is available in standard reports but it's the "where it's going" that should be more available... but that's a topic for another time. Wikileaks is something needed but it seems to try to do to much. After all, the government and it's branches are representatives of the citizens, we do have an entitlement to know exactly wtf the bosses are doing in our name. I mean I am not asking to know how many spies are in Russia etc, but I'd expect that something that is OSTENSIBLY an overt and open part of our government to not be running around cloak and dagger style because they think that we're to stupid to promote democracy and know what's best.

It'd probably be more like something from Fifth Element there GOrth.

The bush tax cuts need to be ended. I don't understand how people expect the government to do more with less money then they had in the 80's coming (proportionally). I mean the news networks started riots when it was suggested that the taxes be raised back to what they were in CLINTON years when we were seeing rapid growth.

So? Maybe it's part of a national effort to promote procreativity in the population. I hear they are having massive problems with the couples department. I thought it was the opposite given that their apartment complexes have been given the unoffical name of "rabbit warrens"..

Then you have been very very lucky as far as I'm concerned. I mostly used Cass and ED-E, and both of them got themselves killed more than enough times. There wasn't much problems outdoors (ED-E did go kamikaze time to time), but indoors they went completely nuts. Especially vaults went like this: We go in, shoot the possible bad guys in the first room and then the companions were off. I heard them much more than saw them, rampaging all around the place until they got killed. Changing between aggressive/passive didn't seem to have any effect in their behavior. It'd get even worse with Veronica as melee... she'd be GONE

Reach out and touch me? *plays Tainted Love* :bat: Reach out and touch me....Tainted love?!!! Soft cell is not Depeche Mode and Tainted love is not Personal Jesus. Eh, similar sound :hadouken!:

Eh, that's personal preference of the Designer and his partners in crime. Some people did consider it worse than FO:3, they have made Several good points in the past.

Reach out and touch me? *plays Tainted Love* That said, maybe Heavy Rain has a chance.

It is inevitable. I know I'm obscenely late for this, but I legitimately laughed. +1 for you. I'd have laughed more if it was "That is inevitability coming for you..." *points to oro's avatar*

Finished my Fallout New Vegas game (first one) did the Independant ending. Ended up with a LOT of help against Ceaser but did blow up one of my helpers against Legate (CHRIS ****ING JUDGE!) Lenaius when I hit him with my rocket launcher. It was kinda awesome seeing everything run together at the end there.

It almost did. It took them 7 years to hit us with Guerilla after RF2, and they basically forgot RF2 existed and only barely mentioned RF1. Although RF2 did get mostly positive reviews (on the ps2, PC got reviews that were pretty bad).
-
The first one was kinda stupid, but 2 made a lot more use of the geo-mod tech (although was much shorter) and Guerilla was just incredible!

The way it was explained to me by the Recruiter was that your training gives you 2/3rds of a degree in Nuclear Physics and/or engineering (I believe... he left it nebulous IIRC to cover his ass). He also mentioned the fact that hospitals and power plants needed people trained with nuclear reactors (for some reason)

I think I broke my game. I've walked into Gammorah with my pal doing the "I'm in combat" stuff, and I get stuck because the bouncer is supposed to take my guns, but he won't. This means I'll loose 2 hrs if I can't fix it!

to rehash for those who haven't been paying attention Calax: [link to EA/West/Zamp v Acti news story] Volo: [hate speech about acti] Calax: [distaste for West/Zamp and mild defense of acti] volo: [accusations of fanboyism and hate for acti] Calax: [defense of acti and accusation of hate] repeat until the courts finally decide with neither of us knowing nothing beyond Volo's generic hatred of anything that is viewed as business in games.

Again, the bonuses schtick depends on the wording of the contract, if the contract states "Infinity Ward" gets the bonuses, then the employees who left don't get squat and it's their own damn fault.
