I find it amusing that people have made statements that this guy is a threat to natl security etc etc and the republican party has decided that he's an enemy of the state which has probably gotten every redneck in the lower 48 sayin "if that thar guy wuz here, I'da done kilt 'im!" And these guys are gonna say "here, have him, here's where he is, do you want his normal schedule too?"

I don't know, it sounds like TOR wants to have a strong single player experience as well, and if Cata and TOR both do well you'll probably see more attempts at strong solo experiences in MMO games. Thing about cata is they removed a lot of the "elite" quests because they realized that after the initial leveling is complete, not a single person will end up doing the quest except under extreme circumstances. Usually they replaced the other players with a brace of NPC's that act like a hunter or death knights pets rather than just some random bum wandering around. However, everything at the end of the game still remains as group centric (raids and whatnot).

I think so. Although the sense of this being an expansion is a bit removed due to the fact that a lot of the new content was actually old revamped stuff that your favorite characters can't play through. The new designs are AMAZING with cohesive storylines running through several zones etc. There have been problems cropping up but you can't make a perfect game. Overall it's VERY well put together.

I was running at the top tier of raid content (Killing arthas in Icecrown Citadel) and I traded my gear in... for blues at level 83 and greens at 84. It made me cry. Gotta say, the worgen starting zone is fantastic, atmospheric and well put together... it's just that immediately after it finishes, you're kicked into a stump in the middle of darnassus with a simple "go to darkshore" quest while your leader goes to the other side of the world. Kiiinda frustrating. I've been farming my touchas off to get set to raid and I'm basically there, just need some bracers and I'm off to the raiding once my friends hit the proper gear point (which should be soon given just how much farming and gearing is going on).

A long way from California huh? A bit kinda nice the difference. Interesting thing is you don't really notice the difference unless the wind is going. And I got my second class action suit offer against gamestop. I'm going in the first one becuase I get a good chunk of change, but the second I'd only receive about 5 bucks so figure it isn't worth the hassle.

Actually, a few weeks ago somebody released the current blizz tentative schedule which already has 2 more expansions attached to it. However, as the bottom of the slate states, nobody is quite sure how true that is.

Nope, Alliance doesn't. The worgen don't even really have a zone to "themselves" if you will. They're just night elf guard dogs.

been single digit weather this week, and we got about six inches of snow (in the same storm that collapsed the minnisota athletics stadium) Trying to get a more regular sleep schedule going and failing at it... oh well... have fun

My friend is OBSESSED with cata (haven't seen him like this about WoW since vanilla). I'm gonna resubscribe for a short time after finals to see all the changes. The changes are pretty impressive, and can make the end game experiance quite painful (with random groups not being able to figure out the meaning of "don't hit the crowd control"). Questing is FANTASTIC, and they made it more solo friendly with elite quests basically being completely removed, and adding in several cinematics for particular events. There is also a zone dedicated to (basically anyway) Indiana Jones.

There is! but I need to get me an email address.

The dungeons get MUCH harder from that point on Gifted. Pulls get more important in how you handle them etc. Anyway, TO THE TWILIGHT HIGHLANDS! (hauls anduin off to the docks for quests)
-
They're both extremely interesting, The lower level stuff is probably easier to make your way through because the high end stuff takes a lot to get from level to level (9 million exp from 84 to 85)

The problem is that the US doesn't just execute murderers. They execute those that have been found guilty of murder. However, there has been situations where, after the accused has already been executed, it is later shown that the accused was in fact innocent. Whoops. Executing prisoners is also more expensive than life sentencing, believe it or not. This. Also the DNA project has been going through death rows and checking the dna evidence in the cases there and finds quite a few discrepancies between what was said to happen and what did happen.

Tale, it's not just the starter area, everything 1-60 has been reworked. Dwarven starting zone is the roof of IF, Gnomes start in Gnomergon, and things change from there. the old world questing is now really dynamic relative to what it used to be (so hitting outland feels like slamming into a brick wall). I've done Hyjal and Deepholm so far. Hyjal's story basically is that it's under attack by ragnaros and the fire elementals and you're beating them back and bringing about the return of several demigods, including cenarius. Culimates in an encounter with Rag where you force him back into the elemental plane where you're gonna go in as a raid and defeat him. Deepholm is about trying to rebuild the foundation of the world after Deathwing shattered it. Deepholm wasn't as satisfying to me as Hyjal, but I'm not quite done with deepholm yet, so there's probably a massive battle to be had at the end. Millhouse Manastorm did make an appearance however.

There was a bit of that but it's mostly calmed down gifted. So far I've ressurected 3 ancients, and 1 demigod, caused a brawl and got a pet seahorse. And now I'm fighting Ragnaros.

Been playing all night (trying to reset my body clock to be more normal...) it's REALLY fun. I'm currently one of the leaders in terms of leveling on the server.

Why does it always seem like cities are kind of "only the rich live there" for the city proper, but as you leave the area the poverty level plummets before coming back up to be "well to do" back in the suburbs. like this, but with the downward push much deeper: That said, your best bet is to do what was suggested above. Get a place that's outside the city proper and use public transit to get in. Keeping a car in the city can probably add more bills than it's worth because you have to pay for parking, the gas, the upkeep, and deal with the aggravation of the traffic.

And some of those fights are just flat out epic. Particularly given that you see marines literally slam through walls, look around hop up and shoot again.

That really sucks to be blunt. Why they screwing the BoS? They were like the powerhouses in FO1 and 2 now... they are the red headed step child the writers seem to want to kick around. Sad when the DC BoS is really in a much better position then the west coast chapters. What I read ingame I get the impression ALL the BoS on the west coast are more or less in the same boat as the vegas branch. Are they trying to kill them off canon wise I wonder? It seems that they're moving more towards a stance where they might be the best technologically and trained, but they're just out manned by anything they go up against and they've stagnated due to their membership not being added to from the outside. Honestly at this point I'd see the Followers of the Apocolypse overtaking and absorbing the BoS to a degree simply because the Followers are ideologically similar (don't let the bad tech get into the hands of evil people) but more flexible and have a larger membership and an easy way to maintain that membership (rather than just having women constantly pop out babies to keep the roster strong). Maybe it turns out kinda like the the Sisters of Battle from Warhammer 40k. The BoS is based entirely around military and warfare while the Followers are mainly about helping but both operate under the same leadership.

Actually I've got a pair of berets already because of a bug. And that same bug undid the rep damage that finishing Roses quest after I shot people in the head.

A government warns school not to not celebrate Christmas
Calax replied to Humodour's topic in Way Off-Topic
Honestly, I think that this is kinda hypocritical to the holiday that you have to be extra special nice only in this month, while the other 11 months you can be a complete jackass. The only thing really crammed down my throat about christmas is the midnight servicese at church that I was dragged to.
