  1. For once we see a more elaborate post than "Double-bladed saber rulez" in one of these threads. I always prefer going single, since it simply provides the best "feel" for the universe you're in. The game is easy enough with any weapon you choose and for me it isn't so Star Warsy walking around with dual sabers.
  2. Isn't every topic by now?
  3. Allow me to rephrase the query more to my liking: Is there any reason to spare Luxa?
  4. You don't need to be a Consular/Sith Lord to do that. In fact with the easy difficulty level you can be just about anything (including big-time LS saint) and still do that without problem.
  5. I'd say it's due to the fact that the boards are busy and posts may slip in ahead of your reply, which may cause it to 'disappear', if you will. Then as people post their replies and nothing got in between they're just too lazy to fix it (or don't know that they can edit their posts). I do this myself and I frankly don't have a big problem with the whole issue.
  6. Don't forget about Darkside Poodles. Force Bark makes you so annoyed that you lose -5 to all Will saves for three hours. Nasty critters them.
  7. Grateful When You're Dead/Jerry Was There - Kula Shaker
  8. Midnight at the Oasis - Brand New Heavies
  9. I'd be silent, but just can't seem to shut up.
  10. Masters of War - Bob Dylan (or the neat cover by the Jeevas)
  11. Who needs moderators? There's no spam on this forum anyway.
  12. If you read more carefully you'll see I was refering 'Olaf' was a Swede not Danish <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Olaf isn't a Swedish name either. But it's a common Hollywood stereotype to think so, apparently. One would actually be called Olof, which isn't such a common name anymore (although one of my best friends is called Olof). But your Danish warrior from the pic is pot on, though. Seconded. I mean, wtf?
  13. Oh, I forgot about them too! I won't dispute that we mainly were a land power (which is kind of odd considering our ambition to have the Baltic Sea as an inland sea, but there you have Charles XII again, since he consistently neglected the fleet). Bully Schmully.
  14. Our fleet was doomed anyway with English entry (your fleet would have been exterminated if it wasn't for peace being negotiated in 1700, after your backstabbing plans went awry ). Besides, our German possessions were pretty doomed too anyway once Brandenburg decided to be brave when our every neighbour already fought us. It literally took Russia, Poland/Saxony, Brandenburg, England/Hannover and Denmark/Norway to beat the Caroline Army, and we might even have won it if our King would have been able to see the bigger picture instead of just being this stubborn lunatic who happened to be a good warrior on the battlefield. So there.
  15. *That* is why you failed... Why, sure we failed, but your own status as a great power was crushed with our help during the Great Northern War, we're not the only ones having lost a great deal of power here, my dear Swede. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd hardly credit Denmark too much for our downfall in the GNW. It was rather a case of Charles XII's strategical incompetence combined with half of Europe standing against us (particularly a Russian state turned tiger under Peter the Great).
  16. ...and French.
  17. One party member (maybe two) could be a pizza baker, and you could ask him to make you a pizza (y'know, just like when T3 makes you computer spikes etc). Then with every pizza you ate you would suffer a penalty to DEX, CON and CHA, but gain influence with the baker. When you've unlocked his entire conversation tree (turning into a disgustingly obese Jabba the Hutt impersonator in the process) he'd give you Force Swell, which instead gains you a +15 bonus to CON (impenetrable FAT) for 30 seconds every time you use it. Really neat when low on HP in a hairy battle.
  18. *That* is why you failed...
  19. What I find very peculiar about the Official Green Dragon Thread-Closing Policy is that with every thread Fionavar closes, he does so using spam. I mean, is it really necessary to make a rounding-off post every time?
  20. If such rare threads truly were in abundance, their value would drop. Think of it (Fionavar's closing threads, that is) as spam-inflation management.
  21. "How Do You Do It?", Gerry & The Pacemakers.
  22. The whiskey shot is actually a bit Liam Gallagher.
  23. Well thank very much, I'm so happy you're telling us all these things...
  24. Any tall guy for Nihilus. I mean how many lines did Prowse have as Vader?
