  2. that file has no OGG references, so I believe the actual config file is somewhere else...
  3. Jokes do, but only if they are uttered with malevolence. The one in-game was more of a dirty limerick, hilarious but not malevolent in scope. The author is OK with it, and in this particular case we should be too. The principle is still wrong, however.

  5. Correct. We know that, even if content might be "controversial", we know the roots (the developers) are not, and are in fact very supportive.

  9. AFAIK they are simple WAVs! Near Infinity should be more than capable of playing and converting them!

I don't know others, but I switched to Unity 5 and now i can't use the asset editor, any workaround? except the obvious 2 ones (wait for engine update / get unity 4) Is it mandatory for OGG files to be at the same 32khz rate or they can be higher? EDIT: just to specify, they made the files at OGG q10. virtually no difference with the original ^^
  13. Well, Torment and BG had music files with some sort of loop points, to begin with. Does eternity use the same system? or the loop is simply end-to-beginning, if there is any loop at all? Secondly, I mean more control over the playlists and locational\specific music (like, the battle with the watcher and\or assigning personalised music to particular areas - this is already done, but I can't understand how). more similar to Japanese RPG, I suppose it's a quirk of mine!
  14. I wonder how much is it possible to expand on this system. does it use any kind of loop? if so, which one? the game files could be much more easily accessed with U5, somehow.
  15. I'm calling shotgun for doing Dragon Age\Neverwinter nights portraits, as someone has already done Icewind Dale and I am pretty sure Baldur's gate will follow.
  16. No, no. Focus on this game and update its engine. Then they can move somewhere else. Rather than a saga, I'd love to see a couple more expansions to PoE, and make it an unique game like Torment was.

  19. I refuse to get annoyed at the devs though. This whole system looks really unfinished and I'm counting on them to finish it in a future patch or in the expansion. You are so optimistic you make my heart melt. I wish I was.
  20. That's an erronous perception. In first case, you have to choose between two disadvantageous situations. Do I give up on time or do I give up on loot? In second case there is no disadvantage, considering you're willingly agreeing to the limitation. Only first one presents a practical inconvenience. I doubt the devs will implement encumbrance in any form, that's too much hours of work for the potential benefits. Probably will be modded by someone in the future. much more likely to happen if they upgrade the engine I think...
