  1. I'd just like to say that I have no idea what any of this technical gibberish means, and for some reason I am consequently glowing happily.
  2. I am OK with that, but I wonder if you've considered the fact that I could as easily punch him up the conk?
  3. OMG Lands of Lore! I remember that game! Does anyone else remember the invisible wall? I actually solved that puzzle in a dream . It was awesome. Incidentally, what the hell is PoR? Or any of these other acronyms? Lionheart was bad. It did some novel things, like most bad creative projects. BUt ultimately it refused to blend them with standard good ideas. Leads to Stink City in my book. The only really good thing I could say about it is that it was STILL better than the main campaign in NWN.
  4. I don't think anyone's (apart from perhaps Hades when he's in a downswing) actualy PRO-abortion. No-one's running around handing out fliers offering two for one or somesuch. But this isn't about that. Coulter is a marketable product, because people love to hate her. She gets people watching. She gets airtime. That's it. Take a deep breath, and realise ..."Hey she's a moron, and I don't have to listen."
  5. Bill Hicks: There's nothing wrong with the Geneva convention when it is properly applied. The key point, boys and girls is that it ONLY applies to signatories. We don't HAVE to use it in action against states who haven't either. Moreover, if people like terrorists were believed and were treated as combatants (as they always say they are) then they could be shot instantly on capture for being out of uniform.
  6. Cute. I especially liked: "Baqouba has in recent weeks seen a spike in sectarian violence, including the discovery of 17 severed heads in fruit boxes. It was also near the site of a sectarian atrocity last week in which masked gunmen killed 21 Shiites, including a dozen students, after separating out four Sunni Arabs." What a sweet sweet darling man. He shall be sorely missed. I like the reporter's asinine comments about it not affecting the violence because immediately afterwards an attack occurred. Like Zarqawi was controlling all the terrorists in Iraq via mind-link. It will take time for the effects to be felt, but they will happen. The most obvious consequence will be an internal power struggle in his faction. It will extremely interesting to see how long that lasts. A short power struggle indicating a determined and respected successor (not good). In any event, about damn time!
  7. You'd have to be a fething halfwit to try and fight a tiger hand to hand. I mean four of its five of its six points are all knives!
  8. I've been training myself to eat salad fromthe kebab van on the way home. What you do when drunk you reinforce as a conditioned behaviour. I figured it was worth a shot.
  9. Having worked in jobs like this I'm always polite to the servery people. Although I have to say sometimes they get all confused.
  10. Yeah i played in a alien game once, but I don't think we used the normal rules. We used phoenix comand rules, but i think that is the system that the alien rules come from so they are probably similar. The above rules also get my vote for most complex and probably for most realistic (haven't studied them closely enough to be sure), but they seemed to be pretty focused on tactical combat and not on much else so I dunno how realistic they are for anything else... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Forgot entirely about this for a long while. I'd agree they seemed most realistic. Which for many players helps with game immersion. If anyone'e not tried 'em, I'd recommend them.
  11. Please don't mention the beastly affair.
  12. I love you and want to have your babies.
  13. ...And on that romantic ending, we leave you, and bid a fond farewell.
  14. Agh! Quit it! I'm ticklish!
  15. Three minutes to lockdown...
  16. Steady on, I'll have no slandering nations on my watch, even if it's a furball. Actually... this whole thing ought to have been locked on page 2, so who am I fooling?
  17. I should say I'm being grossly unprofessional you know. *giggling* The other forums can be found in that google search for Onur by full name.
  18. I'm confused and dejected because on his other forums Onur posts in perfect English. I also note he is editing his posts after writing them. Presumably for maximum effect. And I'd lock the thread, but I'm laughing too much. Incidentally, as registered apologist for the British Empire I should say that in fact we planned to drop chemical weapons on the Ottomans in the 1920s, but we couldn't get the technology right, so didn't. I should also point out that we were cheerfully actually gassing thousands of Germans, and sometimes our own men in the trenches for years.
  19. "in fact ''those who dont s*** our balls r teh ones who we shall slay''" - Onur If Bush ever does say this then I'm totally reversing my opinion of him.
  20. I have not yet visited death upon any members. I can't speak for my colleagues.
  21. I'd have loved to have been present at the meetingw here they put in the procurement request for those satellites. Pres: What's this? 'Satellite with enhanced vision capabilities.' You've tabled 4 billion USD for this. What is it for? General: Yessir. That's for looking at their balls. Pres: Balls? Whose balls? General: The terrorists. Pres: Whatever for? General: To see if they're weak. Pres: And we can tell that by their balls? General: Not quite, sir. This is a bit technical, but basically we have to count the hairs. Currently its a quantum leap beyond any existing technology, hence the price. But it will be worth it. Pres: You wouldn't rather have another couple of hundred thousand troops? General: Nossir. Our experience in Iraq has taught us the public won't accept manual inspections.
  22. You know I was only kidding, right? *eyes forum apes nervously* right?
  23. *thinks: lucky break!* THAT one stands for brave.
