  1. Well, GD. With respect for your normal good sense, you will need to try a bit harder to convince me that the rebels are all terrorists.
  2. I'm now imagining you stalking through the forest, as civilisation burns in the distance, attempting to creep up on the USB port of a porcupine.
  3. So you're saying that the refugee ships from post-war Europe were full of cosplayers? Classy trolling.
  4. Kooky. [Musical segue]
  5. Excluding the Whitehouse I don't think many people ARE saying it's black and white, Hilde, Where I think Gorgon and I are standing is the viewpoint that complexity does not excuse inaction. It is both immoral and unwise to let only immoral people steer this conflict.
  6. Again, wtf is up with you and jewish 'bloodlines'?
  7. Because at best he will have knocked out an entire platform while they have to get in people to extract the mangled trolley from the train, and declare everything operationally safe. I honestly can't believe you think it's OK to just hoy steel trolleys into the path of oncoming trains. I didn't said that I am ok with it. I am more lolwtf about it. Especially if you see how that dude behaves as if all is totally normal. In the end, the train could have jumped from the rails, and cause some huge ****, just because one dude thought "well, why not." I'll guess my post was very unclear in that direction. OK, I probably sounded more freaked out than I should have, for my part.
  8. Why ARE the Danish lions so loved up?
  9. The point is, Raithe, that for a lot of women sexuality is about being safe, pretending to be unsafe. And you can't much more safe than major Hollywood pretty boy, carefully supervised, pretending to do bad BDSM. Or something.

  11. Weirdly, it was reading this that I most understood your stance of Federal government. Completely true.
  12. Stop. Breathe. Are you really claiming that's the only reason?
  13. When you reach the absolute top of the pyramid, the rules suddenly start breaking. The nicest, coolest and most down to earth girls I've ever known are also the most beautiful ones. 3-9 are total bitches and 10 I was planning on marrying Not sure that makes grammatical sense, old boy. Probably not, I was going to write something else before, then changed my mind and was lazy on the tablet... :D No worries. Can I suggest you attempt to paint your feelings, using potato-printing? Photo it and post here.
  14. It's really dangerous. Like reading The Independent, it induces feelings of paranoia and moral outrage. ~ Man, for no discernible reason, throws a luggage trolley into the path of an oncoming train, then strolls casually away. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-23929951 Note that the man concerned is in possession of one of those bloody wheeled bags. Clear indicator of sociopathic tendencies.

  16. *sudden dry0-heaving panic as I realise I am reading the Daily Mail website* FFS, mate. Don't ****ing do that. It's not funny.
  17. 1) They would, in theory, be fighting in defence of Muslim civilians. This is to contradict Al Q, and fight the propaganda war. 2) It's a handful of people 3) I have to question whether these photos are even legit in the first place. You could mock them up with a couple of hundred pounds and a trawl of a good military surplus store.
  18. My own experience with such government tomfoolery is that the people involved aren't stupid, but the system they serve is beyond sane understanding. Beyond people like North Korea the definition of 'bad dude' becomes something like "Bad on Wednesday, and Fridays, or if owls are in the equinox, or a question has been asked in Parliament within one solar year." It's hard to take a tough line on evil if no-one is wiling to define what the **** it is.

Excuse me, Egon. But you said that would be bad.

Does anyone know a good synonym for 'meandering'?
  21. That is just hilarious. How do they get the money to build and run the damn things?
  22. Influenced by reading about the 1600s I experimented with a curry heavy on aromatics like nutmeg and cinnamon. Think it would have been better as chicken, rather than lamb. But lamb was in the fridge, so..
  23. Not sure I fully understand how a 656 page book can be sparse on substance... But stuff like leaving out an index seems weird.
  24. I shall remember this the next time some ****hole tells me there's no such thing as luck.
  25. Urgh. Ate domino's pizza for dinner yesterday. Feel like I've swallowed a synthetic fibre pillow.
