Personally, I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts II moreso, and Sqaure-Enix has the new Dragon Warrior, and some new RPG franchises as well.

I'll probably play a secretly war-mongering Cleric who likes to instigate. He'll be a zealot who loves to get other characters involved in mad-cap adventures while worshipping a deity giving me war and destruction. I played a similiar Cleric the last time I played D&D at it was good fun. The character was a good source of plotlines and humor. The other PCs often took turns basically baby-sitting the Cleric and trying to keep him out of trouble.

I'll play assuming I'm not stealing a spot from a new player.

I have been a fan of western CRPGs and JRPGs alike. I'm really not looking forward to FFXII however. FFX had a really original plot, a neat world, and some neat characters. FFXII is recycling Ivalice as a world, a really cliche plot, really cliche characters, and dumping the battle system at the same time. Everything is telling me this game will be insanely popular in Japan and bomb in the US.

I heard the cliffracers were annoying and I installed modules that redid the creatures in Morrowind. I very rarely ran into Cliffracers.

I had a near completed RPG Maker 2k game called "Meifumado" that I had been working on for about six months, and I lost it all.

I though many of were going to possibly play NWN:2 together. I'd like to see a Persistent World server with Obsidian regulars. Perhaps bums like Sawyer might even drop in and slum with us.

On the balance issues, people who played tech screamed about magic, while the magic players screamed about tech. I've never seen a pure consensus that agrees one side is more powerful than the other. Both sides were screaming. Was balance as bad as everyone makes it? Perhaps not.

Very true. Ultima used to be the most successful selling RPG franchise overall. I'm sure EA would tell you that it still is, counting the UO boxes and expansions.

Why do people point as the IE era as the height of PC CRPGs and completely discount the Gold Box series, the Ultima series, the Might and Magic series, the Wizardry series, Rouge/Hack games, etc. Those titles sold millions of copies in a much smaller PC market. PCs weren't in everyone's homes they were today. Those games dominated their market.

Obsidian seems to have tons of new hires. Just getting to know the team, and what the development process is like would be good info even if they can't give us tons of info on the projects themselves.

I love how Zach Braff wrote that role for her, and wrote himself into a role where he can openly mack on her. He makes no effort to hide his huge crush on her. Garden State is a fantastic movie by the way. It may be one of the best movies I've seen in a while.

I know the above paragraph says head, but I've seen the tape serveral times, and I think he actually struck him in the back of the next. Headshots are illegal in any sports league. In baseball a player got a 20 game suspension for pushing a cameraman who was repeatedly harassing him. Moore did nothing wrong and was an innocent victim. The suspension was initially going to be a season-long suspension. I think it could be reduced to half a season, starting from the first 13 games he already missed. Moore likely will never play again and what happened was not something that happens in any given game.

Clue here in the states. There is a great single player computer game largely based on Clue and eliminating suspects, weapons, motives, locations, etc. through logic puzzles. It is called Inspector Parker and is quite good.

If enough people try to convince me you are a real poster by rating you, then you get a character sheet. Otherwise you are just part of the simulation. I considered adding a G.I.S. skill for using images.
