  1. Deleting all your saves is never the solution.
  2. I played a few neat Star Wars MUDs back in the day.
  3. MUDS and MUSHES are overlooked but quite fun.
  4. I had never heard of Tangelos either until we moved onto a property that had a Tangelo grove.
  5. Isn't there someone you'd go gay for?
  6. MSN Zone, Yahoo and the like have simple Backgammon, Hearts, etc. games you can play online multiplayer.
  7. A reinstall would fix the problem if the problem were a corrupt map or data file. There were plenty of bad discs printed by LucasArts.
  8. Again, what kind of game are you looking for? I personally am a sucker for games like Civilization which can be played multiplayer. Are graphics important? I'm fixing up a text-based multiplayer RPG that I think is quite fun. It'll be back online in about 8 hours. Somehow the website got overwritten with zero-byte files and I'm replacing all the files without backups! Fun!
  9. System Shock 2 is on the-underdogs.org as an abandonware game.
  10. The bad news is that your save game may be corrupt. You did say you tried from an earlier save and you have the same problem?
  11. Well, I don't think there is an immediate cut-scene that plays there, and you've been to Dantooine before. Honestly, I'm a bit stumped by this bug. You can also try turning off various visual effects one by one, and then try leaving the Hawk. Also try flying somewhere else and then coming back to Dantooine. Edit: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...75entry389175 It seems you are not alone in this problem.
  12. Heck! I didn't realize it was free now, or I might have used that for our game! Last time I saw you had to pay for the software.
  13. It depends on the dicebot. The dicebot we use on irc.psionics.net, you must type @roll 2d6
  14. Again, check out WebRPG. http://www.webrpg.com/gamesystem/index.phtml
  15. Welcome to the forums. Add the line Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 to swkotor2.ini under the [Graphics Options] section. Also update to the latest Catylst drives. I recommend the Omega tweaked versions, personally. http://www.omegadrivers.net/
  16. What type of game are you looking for? Arguably Starcraft, Diablo, and Counterstrike are the most popular, lasting MP games I've seen on the PC.
  17. Nope, players can roll for themselves with dicebots.
  18. Well, because we're playing online, I'm trying to run a game with less combat and more social-interaction. WoD also doesn't rely on positioning and maps so much since powers don't have specific ranges so much. It's not like you have to worry who is being affected by a 30' Cone of Cold. I think certain games probably lend better to IRC. Edit: WebRPG allows for maps, minis and character sheets online while you play, but it isn't free.
  19. They were giving away a version of the game with a PvP comic for a while as well.
  20. It is a bit slower than a table-top game, but in the absense of a table-top game, I'm enjoying it.
  21. My money is on the Oilers this year!
  22. I can't understand a Wil Wheaton fetish. Then again, he has the most read blog on the internet. Don't ask me how or why. I love Kevin Smith's blog. I'd go gay for Kevin Smith; the man is just so damned funny!
  23. Especially when I was offered an obscene employee discount on a gaming-notebook recently. My craptop is old.
  24. With a download manager like GetRight that supports resuming downloads, 54 megs isn't bad at all!
  25. Aren't you guys given some pretty specific tasks of things to try? I would assume that like any other form of trouble-shooting a logical person can eliminate and control for certain variables until they find the problem.
