It is a shame that women like Ellen Burstyn don't get Oscars in truly incredible performances like Requiem for A Dream, but Hale Berry wins an Oscar.

Revan also got chumped by the Jedi order, don't forget that. He also couldn't deal with attachment in the end and shoved people away for no good reason. Revan wasn't the manipulator that Palpatine was, nor did he have the power that Exar Kun did.

Uninspired? I get people who say Morrowind isn't fun. But TES games are labors of love with high production values. Bethesda does make a pretty serious effort to put out the best damned game they can. People shouldn't deny them that. I started Fanout with the purpose of creating a game Bethesda wouldn't. I know fans want a sequel to FO1 and 2. We're not getting that, and we know it. But FO3 might be a good game regardless.

That is something I'd rather not picture. The sex scene with Billy Bob and Hale Berry was already quite disturbing.

Seriously, she doesn't exude sexuality the way Jolie does. I can honestly say I've slept with women who have bodies as good as Alba's. There are probably a couple thousand woman you can run into in LA that look just as good, if not better than Alba. It takes more than a rack to impress me.

Rockstar has their niche. Last time I checked we were supposed to have freedom of expression here.

Does that mean Fallout 3 won't be fun? Does that mean Fallout 3 won't have a good story? We knew from day 1 we weren't getting a turn-based, isometric game.

Not too shabby. I knew reflexes were more of an issue in combat. However, how does the Blade skill come into play at all if it no longer affects your chances of hitting? Does it merely impact damage?

I apologize. Given the last ocuple of posts I figured I could infer what those moments were. I'm also torn in 12 directions tonight.

But we see celebrities away from movies. Alba had a sincere quality in Sin City that I don't see in other places, and I will credit her for that. Still, she doesn't stoke my fire.

Don't you feel that playing DS you had moments such as when you turned Atton to the DS? Admittedly, the game needed a path where you might lie more and pretend to be good. But I'm not sure I've ever seen a game fully pull that off.

Buffy was occassionally funny. Here is my beef with Buffy and Angel. They tried to be very serious dramas, and I couldn't take them serious. People keep raving about the great characters and stories. People also said the show got better with each season. It was supposedly darker and more serious. So why in the last season were they still pulling stupid ****? A demon is over for a party at Buffy's house when she brings home a potential boyfriend, who knows nothing of the whole demon/vampire/slayer thing. The demon has red skin, horns, the works. They explain him away as having a simple skin condition and play it off for a cheap laugh. Occassional witty banter was sandwiched in between weak plots, contrived conditions, lame jokes, and a show that tried to take itself seriously. The X-Files managed humor suprisingly in a dark show, If Buffy was camp all the way, so be it. It worked wonders for the Evil Dead movies. But Buffy didn't want to be camp, and failed in it's bid to be a serious show. Angel had less witty banter, less empathetic characters, more silly Demon-universe stuff, and more contrived situations. Given that most of the people who recommend Firefly to me insist that Buffy was the greatest show on the planet, I have reservations about Firefly, but I still want to see it.

One word: Taiwan <{POST_SNAPBACK}> People also forget that Taiwan was really the rightful seat of the Chinese government. China doesn't have a claim on Taiwan so much as Taiwan has a claim on China.

I weep for the Avs season.
