I don't think Morrowind is the greatest RPG of all time, but it does have its merits. It certainly has its flaws as well. I consider it a near miss, a game that could have been truly great. Some people have questioned RPGDot reviews but they make an effort to be sincere. We do get review copies of games, but not always. No one is buying our reviews with ad space or donations. And we're not cynical asshats either. I'll gladly do some reviews, but I have to see what falls in my lap. Thanks for all the support! As far as the forums go, I'm going to try and liven up traffic. The webhost started doing annoying pop-up ads a while back which destroyed traffic. They are gone thankfully. The forums also load slow, so I am going to check with the forum host (Jolt) to see if they are using precompilers or optimizers for PHP like Zend. Some people also expressed to me that they didn't care for the forums where console RPG fans and CRPG fans might clash in the same areas. Rest assured, many major games have their own areas so you don't have to listen to Morrowind fans if you don't like, and CRPGs and console RPGs have their own areas.

Thanks, though I don't know what Omedetou means. It could be something like stupid gaijin for all I know.

1 kotOR's game for 2 PC...
EnderAndrew replied to Don Chewbacca De La Vega's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If you want to trade off between two players at different times, then you could swap the disc back and forth. That would still be against the EULA, but you wouldn't need help with that. What you want, and asked for is for two people to play at the same time. That doesn't help one person play faster as they are playing seperate save games on seperate computers. You're looking for a way to pirate the game, and you won't get help on the company's forums for a way to pirate their game. -

Because a developer put a spawning point there? -
One could argue any game that diverges from the main plot is a mini-game. In several of the Final Fantasy mini-games you still have control of your main character, but they are clearly mini-games.

Baley told me that he wasn't sure which unit to remove, so you can take them all away. -
I made massive updates to the list, adding urls for all the developers, more release dates, and I added: Enostra: Discovery Beyond - Q4 2005 Developer: Kvazar Studio Platform: PC Setting: SciFi

I've reseated them, but I don't have spare ram or processors to test out. However BIOS recognizes the CPU and RAM just fine.

I posted it before I went to bed. I may go back and reread it to check for typos real quick.

I'm fired, and being sent out to the RPG Codex forums to be crucified. My zombie form will be back later.

Not if I can help it.

I've heard from quite a few people that they don't care for RPGDot's reviews personally. I hope to change that. I don't know when I'll get my first review.

I am officially an editor over at RPGDot now. I've found personally that too many news or review sites slant towards one extreme or the other. They might be in publisher's laps offering out 9.9 reviews for unfinished, buggy games left and right or they slam everything out of habit while asshattery ensues. That doesn't appear to be the case wirh RPGDot. They report news quickly, thoroughly and cover just about everything. Their database of games is a great asset (though it needs some work). I will be reporting news, landing exclusive interviews, doing reviews and writing features/editorials. Many of the interviews will take a while as I must establish rapports with all of the PR agents for the various publishes and start going through them. I didn't inherit much of a contact list, and some major publshers like Microsoft are in the process of switching PR agencies right now. However, I have made contact with some people already and have some interviews in the pipeline. Just so that people can see that I'm working visibly, I posted a small editorial in our Side Quest series. I will also be starting a new feature of Retro Reviews covering classics in the genre. If people have suggestions for stories, please let me know. I am working towards helping to futher the site and foster the community there. Considering what the site has to offer, I am surprised the forums hardly get used there. My annoucement Side Quest: Defining The Evolving Genre Please stop by and leave some feedback!

That's why I don't wait to get a dual-core processor. I'll get one in a year or so when games start using it.

The geography that I stands compares you superior. Wow. -
Foxconn just emailed me back and they insist there is no way the motherboard could be at fault. Yet the drives work fine in other computers and I've tried 3 different power supplies, all brand new.

Stating unequivocably repeatedly that Bush claimed Iraq was responsible for 9/11 is lying. Stating that Bush lied to create the situation is lying. Stating that there weren't any WMD is lying. I posted the first three links that Google turned up, and then I turned around and posted 3 from CNN so there would be an objective news source. Vixen only posted commentary from partisan sites, who contradicted each other, intentionally misled, and twisted facts. If she is up in arms about lying, then perhaps she shouldn't be getting news from opinion sites that practice it so much.

I think Big Cat is pretty fitting.

Obsidian Forums Diplomacy Game 3 (OBS-03)
EnderAndrew replied to Archmonarch's topic in Pen-and-Paper Gaming
I must say of all the games, this is the one where I am the most excited. I think we have a great group of active players, lots of communication and plenty of diplomatic goings-on. I am paranoid and optimistic at the same time. I must say, good game so far to everyone involved! -
The arguement is not whether or not the war was handled well or whether or not Bush was a good leader. The arguement was whether or not Bush lied to get us in a way we shouldn't have been in.
